Dr. Barry J Henry

Dr. Henry has treated me for several issues and each one was a complete success. He sits and talks with you and treats you as a partner in your treatment plan. He explains all of your options and helps you make the best decision for yourself. His knowledge and bedside manner are impeccable. I would definitely recommend him. He and his staff are amazing to be around.

I have been seeing Dr. Henry for over 10 years. He and his staff are the most considerate and outstanding professionals yet personally friendly people I know in the medical field. Dr. Henry has performed 3 major surgeries on me with all 3 being a full success. Dr. Henry is a very companionate doctor that hates to see people in pain. I would and have highly recommend him to family members and friends. Thanks to you Dr. Henry!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Henry since he came to Lafayette. He has done 5 surgeries on me with repair of torn meniscus being the latest surgery. The first 3 weeks I was doing great and then hit a brick wall due to my age, arthritis and a long nursing career standing for decades. When this happened I was seen the same morning I called. Thank God it was a clinic day. I had MRI by Thurs and diagnosis and treatment plan within a week. It has been a long slow recovery but Dr Henry and his wonderful staff have been there every step of the way. I am still employed and there has been a ridiculous amount of paperwork to be filled out but he and his staff have been awesome about this. Employers need to streamline all this and be more respectful of our drs and their staff. Thank you Kendall for calling me and prompting me to get out of my recliner and walk when I didn’t think I could. You have been a great support. Heidi, thank you for all the faxing and to the whole staff.

I am so completely satisfied with the treatment I received from Dr. Henry. I had surgery for a torn meniscus with another Orthopedic doctor. After surgery fluid built up in a bakers cyst. I was told that the only way to take care of it was with a complete knee replacement. I went to Dr. Henry for a second opinion. He drained the cyst for me several times until I was able to have surgery for the removal of the cyst. He was very compassionate and understanding. His staff is beyond wonderful!

From the time you walk in til the time you walk out, all of the staff are very courteous and friendly Dr. Henry and his staff are very thorough and provide excellent level of care. I highly recommend his practice.

Recently had lateral and medial meniscus surgery. Dr. Henry did an outstanding job. Very professional. Walked out of the facility putting full weight on knee. Minimal pain the first day with no pain after.

I went in to get my shoulder looked at, the staff was very friendly and I was in the back in no time. After a short wait, I was brought back for a X-Ray and Dr. Henry was their quickly to explain my injury. he was very clear and made sure I understood everything that was going on and the plan of action. A++++ I highly recommend

I would recommend Dr. Henry to anyone. The entire staff treated me well and expressed concern for my diagnosis. Dr. Henry took the time to explain my situation and prognosis. He eased my mind and was able to help me reduce pain and consider all alternatives.

Every member of my householf has seen Dr. Henry and I have referred many family members and friends who are also patients. No sugar coating, but very compassionate and thourough with his explanations and course of treatment!

Great at diagnosis, I went for what I though was my problem and he actually had a totally different diagnosis after discussing my symptoms with me. He explained to my husband and I, that I had a problem I didn't know I had, he went through each symptom and explained it to us. The MRI verified what he had diagnosed very impressive. This is different from above, almost 2 weeks ago I had a trigger thumb release and a ganglion cyst in my thumb removed. I woke up with movement I hadn't had in years

I had rotator cuff surgery November 2015. Essentially pain free now 3 months post-op. Dr. Henry and staff were professional, caring, and willing to answer any questions. Everything was explained well with clear instructions provided. Appointments were able to be scheduled quickly and with minimal wait times.
