I was made fully aware of the choices, options and treated with care and respect. Dr. Brooks works hard to make sure that his patients feel comfortable and have an understanding of the treatment plan. Overall an excellent experience!

Dr. Brooks and I have been paired together for nearly forty years. We have history together. He is the BEST Oncologist/Hematologist that I could have prayed for. Dr. Brooks is knowledgeable, patient, smart, respectful, kind, courteous, compassionate, professional and has excellent bedside manners. He listens to his patients and provide them with exactly whatever their needs are. I was hospitalized at Medical City for major surgery one year, performed by another surgeon. Dr. Brooks stopped by my room to check on me and lifted my spirits. He took the time from his busy schedule to show concern for my wellbeing. For that, I was grateful. His Staff are the BEST from the time you check-in, get your vital signs done and Labs, they all make you feel special. The examining rooms are always spotless and inviting. Dr Brooks is amazing. He is so knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose a rare disease 6 years ago when no one else could figure it out. I owe him my life!!

Dr. Brooks stays in the room for 5 mins and I pay to see him. I was to surgery and he was suppose to contact my OB and would not do so for 2 weeks.

I have been a patient of Dr. Barry Brooks for two months. Had testing done two months ago and still no follow up on results. I have called his staff numerous times and they promised he would call back ASAP. He never did call me back and I feel my health is in great trouble. Nothing

I truly appreciate Dr Brooks experience and knowledge. The delivery of the message often feels like a scolding and makes it difficult to have meaningful dialogue with him. The Dr/patient relationship needs to be more supportive in the journey of cancer treatment.

Dr. Brooks is very personable and truly cares for his patients. I enjoy my visits with him. He shoots me straight whether it is good news or not. All doctors should be like Dr. Brooks.

I would never go to another doctor

I'm doing this for my wife, the patient. Doctor Brooks always looks at her face to see her color. Very good. He answers all of her questions and listens to what she has to say. His new treatment has made her blood count improve to where she is about as healthy as I am.

Run, don't walk!! Messages go unanswered. Necessary paperwork doesn't get done. Questions don't get answers. I highly recommend checking out the Texas Oncology office in Mesquite instead. They are amazing!!! And for the automated response that this will bring that you are sorry this has been my experience and I should email......yeah....no. I have been going to Dr. Brooks for 11 plus years. I usually only have to go once a year now. The testing that used to have to be done days before now only takes 15 minutes because of a new piece of equipment. So I can have my labs done and see the Doctor 15 minutes later (usually have to wait 25-30 minutes). He is always thorough, candid and covers everything well. I have been going to Dr. Brooks for 11 plus years. I usually only have to go once a year now. Dr. Brooks was my mom doctor, when she had her chemo. He act like he didn't care, in and out quick. My mom told him she felt really bad from the chemo. He would just say your ok, thats how your going to feel. The chemo end up being to strong, which caused her to have congestive heart failure.

Dr. Brooks made me wait in the room 20 to 25 minutes. Didn't really want to know any medical history. Didn't go over blood work. Stayed in room 5 minutes. Asked questions didn't let me answer them without him cutting me off.
