Dr. Cowan is excellent. He has treated me for bladder, and kidney stones as well as BPH. He explained things very well and answered my questions. He was highly recommended to me by a friend and I am very glad I became one of his patients. He is much much better than my previous urologist.

HE as always taken an interest in my condition and treated and my wife, an RN, with utmost respect. He has become a fiend over the 30 years or so of treatment for my BPH.

Dr. Cowan listens intently and built my confidence from the first interaction. He ends every appointment with: "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Dr. Cowan was referred by my usual doctor who described him as one of the best in the country. I completely agree.

Routine 6 mo check of past BPH laser partial prostatectomy and seperate histocele repair. I have great confidence in him and would recommend him to anyone. His staff and facilities are first rate.

My provider would not allow Rezum procedure for me so I called out for help with out of pocket and Dr. Cowan's office was only one in metro Denver that answered. Since I've seen him i haven't had any emergency experiences that I was having. Now I have Medicare and have Rezum scheduled for 6-18-2020. Thank you Dr. Cowan. TURP is not for me, I want to keep "quality of life". I'll update my results in 2 months. The procedure should be my choice old provider.

I have had a very good relationship and experience with Dr. Cowan since 2004. He is an excellent and caring Dr. with great skills and engaging manner. I particularly appreciate taking part in the procedure: viewing the monitor and discussing what is shown as the procedure occurs. The staff is always courteous, efficient, professional and kind. All get my highest recommendation. I am occasionally confused by the Surgical Center billing: initial Ins. approved pre-bill, then a followup (makeup?) bill two months later. The Surgical Center is efficient and effective, but costs me more out of pocket than just a copay as in pre-Surgical Center treatment years. My health, however, benefits from this Dr./S. Dr. Cowan and his staff were terrific. They were expeditious, polite and caring. Dr. Cowan and his nurse explained procedures fully and always asked if I had questions or concerns. I highly recommend them.

As a result of a recent visit, Dr. Cowan recommended a couple of tests to determine if there were problems that needed to be addressed. Although I suffered anxiety over these tests, Dr. Cowan and his staff did everything possible to put me at ease and help me successfully complete these tests. I am pleased with the results of the tests and confident in Dr. Cowan's assessment and future course of action for my health concerns.

Dr. Cowan was terrific! He and his staff took great care of me. He explained how the procedure would work and what to expect. He was friendly and we talked and laughed a bit too. He has a great sense of humor and was extremely professional too. He is a pro and i am so glad i chose to have him do my Vasectomy.

I found Dr. Cowan unhelpful. He seemed annoyed when I asked questions, largely brushing me off. I had the impression he considered explaining the purpose of tests he recommended an imposition.

Dr. Cowan was actually pretty good in person, but his staff is -(negative) 5 stars. Said HE would call me in 2 days with my results. After several calls, finally got my results about 16 days later, but were sent to some other person's email the first go around, so that's great my PII is just floating around the net. Finally got my results and enjoyed googling the terms to figure out the just of them. An interpretation would have been good I think. I got the DR call back a few days later.

I have been extremely happy with Dr. Cowan since my first visit. He is a very kind and caring doctor who has always taken the extra time needed to explain all of my options and then has been extremely patient and helpful answering any questions that I have had. Dr. Cowan recently did a procedure on me that was flawless. He made sure that I was comfortable the whole time and even called later that evening to make sure that I was doing okay. I would recommend Dr. Cowan to anyone!

I cannot say enough terrible things about this doctor. He performed an unnecessary surgery on my husband and then lied about whether or not the surgery worked - even though we verified with two other urologists that it did not work. There are so many other great options out there.

I have been to many urologists for my kidney stones and was absolutely blown away by Dr. Cowan's knowledge, friendliness, and ability to listen. He immediately got me in for a CT scan that afternoon due to my level of pain and called me with my results the next day between surgeries. Most doctors would have their assistant call, but he took the time to call and help walk me through my next steps! I would recommend Dr. Cowan to anyone looking for a great urologist!

Dr. Cowan has been a complete joy to work with. He went above and beyond in my treatment and continues to be my favorite Dr. I drive 2 hours to each appointment for the simple reason we love this man. Thank you for everything Dr. Cowen!!
