Dr. Barbara Zarebczan Dull

In 2016, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Dull discussed with us my options. She really put me at ease. She did my surgery, and I had 6 weeks of radiation. I was lucky…no chemo! It is now 2023, and my mammograms have been great. I see Dr. Dull once a year after my mammogram. She is a wonderful doctor, and I am so glad that she is my doctor. I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Dr. Dull for such good care at such a hard time in my life!

Dr. Dull, her staff, and the navigators were wonderful.

Dr. Dull failed to remove the sentinel lymph node(s) during my sister’s breast cancer surgery. She thought she did it until pathology report shows whatever she removed is not even a lymph node. She then told my sister that her cancer had not spread, no need for any treatments other than taking hormone inhibitor drug. I thought we need lymph nodes to decide if the cancer has spread (can't just assume) and what the right treatment plans should be. What if my sister's sentinel is positive and her cancer has not spread yet, we could have treated her cancer now by removing the infected lymph nodes and stop the cancer from spreading. Instead we miss this window of opportunity for treatments and let the cancer go free. Also, what if the cancer has already spread, shouldn't my sister be doing the chemo now? When Insurance refused to pay certain lab tests due to missing lymph node data, Dr. Dull was not very helpful. We had to appeal the Insurance decision and force them to contact Dr.Dull

Dr Dull has the best bedside patient manners that I've ever received. She has been nothing short of wonderful on each appointment. I love that she provides test results personally and not push it off on the staff.
