Azita Far

Dr. Far is incredibly rude, dismissive, and arrogant. I actually suspect she enjoys being the gatekeeper between patients in severe pain and the medications/treatments they desperately need. She was clearly annoyed when I asked her to explain a little about the treatment options she rattled off, and had the gall to ask why I was crying when I started to tear up, feeling interrogated AND still in severe pain. I was stunned. When I mentioned the doctor who referred me, she condescendingly said I should "cut him out of the loop" and similarly had derogatory comments about physical therapy. (As it happens, the referring doctor and my physical therapist are godsends.) Worse, her MyCSLink after-visit notes describe at least a dozen exam/diagnostic results that she DID NOT perform or ask about. It also says she spent 60 minutes with me. I'd be amazed if she'd spent more than 6. AVOID.

This is the worst Doctor CedarSinai has!!!! There has been so many compliments about her. I was accused of having something in my hand bag and she was insisting that I stole something!!! Then an advocate comes in and I dumped out everything in my bag and nothing in there but my items. Could not believe her absurd behavior. I demanded an apology and she did but then said that I did have it. OMG!!! Keep your eyes on her. I would give her a minus if I could. Go to a different doctor, I can not stress this enough. Thank goodness I didn’t read the reviews before my appointment . I have had an spine surgery and my muscles kept spazzing and she gave me Botox to stop my back and neck pain. Horrible! Believe every negative comment here. I’ve witnessed it all. This doctor does not care at all about patients in pain. She’s a terrible doctor. Very cold, very rude, and just horrible. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else ...... the people writing good things have got to be people she knows. This person would never be described as warm lol or caring. There is zero chance of that.

Very poor bedside manor and overall demeanor. Dr. Far really gives almost no solutions, and at best is billing insurance to see you and ignore you thereafter. The only thing worse than a visit with her, was the billing service that she uses. I strongly recommend you seek other options.

Skilled,highly competent Specialist in the most complex cases of pain disorders. When you have a spinal cord stimulator or an intrathecal pain pump having a doctor who has your procedure done in 30 minutes shows me she cares and understands the seriousness of what her patients go through if she doesn't get it right.

Terrible! My husband had been sick for almost two years. Severe pleuritic lung pain (and a nagging cough) The first words out of her mouth were “he’s not contagious is he?” As she backed herself as far away as possible. (Maybe don’t become a doctor if you don’t want to be around sick people!) she then proceeded to tell him (mind you, she’s a pain doctor and he’s had low grade pain constantly and breakthrough 7/10 - 10/10 pain for almost two years) “there’s nothing I can do for you” Some of his pain is body aches like you have with the flu... regarding that pain she said “we don’t give opiates to someone who has the flu” uhhhh yes you do if the flu lasts almost two years and nothing else has helped. (Not lyrica, gabapentin, nsaids, tramadol and many others) We saw a diff doc who really listened. prescribed cymbalta which took care of his low grade pain. And a lung doc who helped him reign in the cough to alleviate some of lung pain. Just takes a good doc, which I don’t think she is.

I loveeeeee Dr. Far! She has been my doctor for years! I knew her before she had her babies, she is consistently excellent!

Very compassionate and understanding. Realizes your pain and discomfort. Gives a complete evaluation and very confident in her diagnosis and treatment????

Dr. Far is by far the most kindest most caring knowledgable educated compassionate empathetic dr I have ever had. I have 15 in my contacts currently. I fly from florida to cali 2-3 times a year to see her she is that good. She's been my fr since diagnosing neuropathy and gotten thru it all including a spinal cord stimulator. She fights for her patients. I love this dr for all she has done for me when others would have left me behind she carried me forward. Every visit I let her know how important she is to me and to my health and for that she has my love. WORLDS BEST PAIN DR!!! Dr. Far is a very warm, compassionate doctor who treated my severe back pain. I had a local anesthetic for my lower back injection procedure and afterwards I drove myself home. My pain level has decreased dramatically. Dr. Far also has been treating my wife and her pain issues are so much better.

Worst doctor that you can see for your chronic pain. Very arrogant. Instead of listening your concerns she shushes you and scolds you in the middle of your sentence. She has no respect for her patients. Definitely not emphasize with your pain condition nor tries to understand how it effects you. The irony is she works in pain clinic. What a waste of doctor. Kind, considerate, accommodating, very professional. Constantly checked during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. Flawless service with great results. Also great staff. I've already recommended to family and they were happy.

I was a patient of Dr Far's for 5 years. Great Physician and very personable.

I think the reason Dr. Far works in a pain clinic is so she can INFLICT pain on other people. She could care less about my suffering, was in a rush and spent little time trying to do anything close to treating me and made snide comments when I asked for help. She took 2 days to get back to me when I was in pain and could not get my prescription filled, she's awful Unless you are masochistic and like being made to feel inferior or worthless and if you like pain cause she'll keep you in it don't

Very rude and lacks compassion. Has helped with my pain 0.0%. Made a snide remark when I wanted more information on a procedure. The procedure resulted in adverse side effects which she did not explain. By FAR the worst doctor I have ever seen.

Dr. Far is a very rude person that lacks compassion and the ability to explain simple procedures. She is far to busy to take time out of her schedule to answer questions pertaining to aftercare. She also makes snide, condescending comments.

Dr. Farr is very professional, caring. I had no problem getting in to see her even though I live 1600 miles away. Her staff is very courteous, returned my calls within reason. I needed an implant filled with medicine, gave her the information, received a call back to set my appointment. Surprisingly SHE did the procedure herself, where I live the nurses normally would do the filling of an implanted pump. Dr. Farr is very professional, caring.
