Ayesha is a test of your ability to advocate for yourself. She rushes through all appointments, and does not explain what is happening. She still believes in BMI, which is misleading as a measure at best. This is a sign that she does not keep up with advancements in the medical field. There is a reason she has near immediate availability - you'd be better off looking elsewhere for care.

Dr Nasir is a awesome dr and the staff is wonderful

I have been Dr. Nasir's patient for several years. She is professional and kind with a positive outlook, and encouraging in my health related issues. She is very knowledgeable and bases her decisions on facts and compassion. Like most doctors, she will gather the information needed to make the best medical decision she can. She is open to second opinions and listening to my perspective. When there has arisen a concern over a treatment plan, cost or if something doesn't work for me, I have found her to be flexible in trying to find another solution. Ultimately, it is the adult patient's responsibility to communicate fully any concerns they have with their doctor(s).

I'm going to repeat what other reviewers have said on this doctor's profile at Vitals.com - do not go to this doctor if you have a mental health condition. She will keep trying to tie your problems back to your mental health condition and even imply you're imagining your symptoms. If you're not on medication because you're managed with therapy, she will strong-arm you into "trying" medication - even when you tell her you've had side effects. On top of this, she always feels rushed, dismissive, and doesn't refer patients out to specialists quickly enough when their symptoms are beyond her expertise. I have spent probably over $10000 in prescriptions in less than 3 months since starting with Dr. Nasir and every visit seems to wrap up with another prescription being assigned even though the cause of my symptoms is still uncertain. My first visit with her, she seemed good even if she was rushed. Every appointment since she has increasingly blamed my symptoms on my mental health condition. I thought I was imagining it but when I pulled up this website and saw she has done this before I was beyond disappointed. People with mental health issues get sick too. If we have been self-managed in the past, it shouldn't be assumed that an acute illness is in anyway related. Do not go to this doctor if you have mental health issues or want a doctor that will take more than 5 minutes to talk with you when you're sick.

The real test of any primary doctor is when a patient experiences a health crisis. Dr Nasir has been my PCP for about 5 years. She is kind and attentive although a little rushed. But I have been terribly disappointed in her care during a recent injury. She sent me for diagnostic tests and then referred me to a specialist even though the test should have ruled this specialist out, costing me ~$1000. She has not followed up after saying she would, which shows me she does not sincerely care for her patients. In short, she great for very basic care, but I would advise on getting a second opinion for any serious matter.

This doctor is not for anyone suffering from mental illness. She will try to connect your symptoms to your bipolar syndrome, anxiety, or depression (several patients are reporting) instead of following the symptoms in a timely manner. She will delay referring you to a specialist until she has exhausted several expensive medications or procedures. I had very high hopes for Dr. Nasir from our first appointment but she has disappointed me again and again since.

I was referred to Dr. Nasir by another physician and she has been so wonderful! She is very helpful for her clients and she truly LISTENS to what their needs are. Our whole family is now being seen at her office. I don't know what we would do without her!!

My 89 year old mother needed a Primary Care Provided and so we started with Dr. Nasir. She was the most caring and capable doctor I have ever met. Since that time I have switched to her practice for my entire family and I have never been disappointed!
