Been a patient with Dr. Malik for 5 years and never had a complaint before. Your appointment time is the time you get seen, no long waiting room stay. But the girls at the front desk are so nasty and rude! I was left on hold for over a hour then someone decided to just hang up on me. Front desk can be rude at times, have had problems with my husband prescription and had to go back and forth a lot of times (he still hasn’t got his prescription) I’ve had an allergic reaction to a medication they prescribed and doctor never got back I had to call 2 weeks straight. Office staff at the desk is ALWAYS very rude and unprofessional.

No ramp for wheelchairs or strollers. And exceptionally useless administrators which welcome you by phone and then, after you arrived and climed upstairs with sleeping baby in the stroller, report you “The doctor is not here today”.

Dr. Malik is not only an excellent doctor, he's a good and very nice person. He's very easy to talk to, actually listens, doesn't rush you through the appointment, explains things concisely and coherently, answers all my questions, discusses all the options. One of the best doctors I have seen. Malik truly cares about his patients and the staff is very polite. Beanca at front desk is absolutely amazing and I know when I go and she is there I will be just fine and seen in a timely manner.

Honestly, I came in with low to no expectations. I figured it was a walk-in clinic, so I would be waiting a little bit of time, and I may or may not get what I truly need. I came in with a raging case of Sciatica pain. Basically feels like somebody is stabbing the entire length of my leg, in the nerves, with a dull hot knife. That’s when it’s “relaxed” ????????‍♀️ Anyways, I was brought back to the exam room in less than 30 minutes, about 15/20 minutes later the doctor walked in. Doctor Malik Was fabulous. So much so, that I requested to have my records moved from my current primary care physician, to him. I was happy to find out that he also does primary care work. The walk in is just a bonus. I have been unhappy with my current PCP anyways. When I have to argue to get a higher dose of thyroid medicine for over two years, when it’s obvious on the suffering, when my blood work showed I needed it, I was told to come back in six months with more bloodwork. WTF? Right away Dr. Malik showed that he actually cares about his patients, he listens, and he will take into account any suggestions you have, he doesn’t mind answering questions, not once did I feel rushed, or like his focus was elsewhere, etc. In the end I left the office feeling a bit hopeful- that I will not be struggling with this sciatica for over 23 days. like the last time it happened to me & the time before that.. I went for my immigration physical to Dr Malik’s office. The staff is very nice and attentive. The office is very cute. The doctor was great, I had my records already so I did not need much at all and my paperwork was done in 2 days. I did read a previous review and was skeptical before going there but I have heard he is a really good doctor and some my friends have been to his office and they all had a great experience with him and his office staff. I have been going to Dr Malik for the last 10 years. He is one of the best doctors, hands down. He is tough and straight forward but the bottom line, he cares and gets you the results you want and need. I have referred many of my friends to him and I have always heard good things about him. He has done both of my parent’s immigration physicals and the process was very smooth, easy, and they were able to get their green card in less than 6 months. I was a walk in clients over the winter. For 2 weeks I was in excruciating pain with sciatica. First time it ever happened to me. I was scared and the pain was making me delirious. Long story short, he spent a decent amount of time with me, he listened to me, did not treat me like a “drug seeker”, etc. The way he handled everything was so beautiful and professional, he is now my primary care physician. Not one complaint about him or his office. His staff are wonderful. He is helping me narrow down the cause of some symptoms that aren’t easily explainable. I appreciate his patience and thoroughness. I am grateful his proximity to my home lead me to him that cold winter day. When I move from this area I will happily come back to this office. He has helped me with everything from physical therapy to getting me the proper doses of thyroid meds, and more.

Do not even contact this doctor if you have Lyme disease. They do not take patients who even think they might have Lyme disease. You will waste your time.

Unable to get into medical office today because office is NOT handicapped accessible! Was unable to get up the stairs due to a fractured pelvis, needed a ramp to use my walker. Receptionist in office told person that was with me that this office is not handicapped accessible. Definitely will not be recommending this medical office or MD!

All staff is caring and dedicated to work hard, they treat us like family member specially Dr Awais is so NICE with kids and our family, on our first visit we don't have insurance and he still look us with his special program which is cheap, now we have insurance. Terrible, Im learning english and the only person that speak Spanish is too bad and plastic person, the first day they told us "here we don't have wheelchair access and services and the doctor don't like see persons like that" My husband and me are looking for DSS medical forms and they said "yes we can help you, come back in two weeks for follow up and we complete the documents" and today said no, I can't because never receive the documents from your clinic in NY, it's ok, but they can call us and let us know the situation before the today appointment and my husband and me call NY clinic and try to do something, and finally I ask for different s referral for me and my husband and Dr Malic did 100 excuses. The best Dr. With very convenient hours

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr Malik! After a year long battle with horrible fatigue, joint aches and swelling, not to mention numerous admissions to Yale, a zillion blood tests and office visits to another practitioner I was at the end of my rope! A friend recommended that I visit Dr Malik. In one visit after describing my symptoms to him, he ordered blood work for Lyme. Sure enough that was it! I was prescribed a regimen of antibiotics and am feeling nearly 100 percent!
