Dr. Griver dropped me like a bad habit when his office and workman's comp couldn't figure out billing.

Worst experience ever. First was told i can only be seen if I am getting discharged from current pain doctor and then was told even if i was discharged would not take over any of my medications. Wow I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you need help. Would never see this doctor period.

Been helping me with my pain management for many years now and doing a great job.

Had an issue with arranging rides to the office, as I don't drive. He discharged me without a single warning. Kerri Orr is AMAZING. Dr.Griver needs a bit more empathy. If you are unable to schedule your every moment around your pain management appointments, I suggest you find another office. It's a shame because he has some awesome staff. He's just a jackass. Well taken care of and respected

My visit with Dr. Griver was a complete and refreshing experience. His expertise in dealing with my lower spine was paramount in relieving my pain and returning my ability to walk painlessly. He explained all he was going to do and how he was going to do it. I give my full recommendation of Dr.Grivers services to anyone who is suffering from a Spine problem. Joe Sprovkin

Terrible experience. So awful that I begged my primary doctor to never make me go back.

I had vertiflex surgery and my back has a lot less pain that I had for 20 years.

Dr. Griver has done a fantastic job with my nerve pain, which has helped me to rid most pain from my injury.

Dr. Griver and his staff at Comprehensive Pain Management in Dunmore went above and beyond this week to get me some pain relief after suffering 3 weeks in excruciating pain. My PCP did nothing for me but schedule an MRI a month away and tell me insurance will require PT so they gave me a referral for that, even though the doctor agreed I could not do PT in the condition I was in. Somehow (things happen for a reason) Kelly intercepted my call for help and within four days treatment was started. I'm on the way to feeling better, thank God. But I just wanted to express my thanks again for Kelly and everyone at Comprehensive Pain Management who treated me with kindness and compassion. I was given a sense of hope from my very first visit! Cares more about billing Medicare than actually utilizing modern medicine that actually works.

Be aware of other issues you may have that will be missed here. When injections don't work maybe he should look at something else going on and refer you for appropriate treatment.

Hello, after 4 years of severe lumbar pain even unable to walk at times. I have been to 8 medical facilities from Dickson city, Scranton, Allentown, Philadelphia and New Jersey. Costing me thousands of dollars and nothing changed. Then my family physician told me to try Dr GRIVER at comprehensive pain management specialist in Dunmore pa. I reluctantly made an appointment. After my first visit I actually felt like I wasn't wasting my time and money. The office staff is very helpful and professional. Dr. Griver suggested Facet nerve ablation. After wondering if it would help Dr Griver performed the ablation and after 4 weeks I am amazed at the results!!! I can walk like a normal person after years of suffering !!!! I highly recommend Dr. Griver. He is a compassionate doctor that genuinely cares for his patient and their needs. He is easy to talk to and actually listens because he truly cares. The staff at Dr. Griver’s office are just as caring and kind as he is especially his PA who talked to me at length prior and the nurse who helped him during my procedure and I have been pain free since my injections!!!

Unlike many other reviews Dr. Griver isn't all about shots. He treats the condition in front of him. Clearly if you have arthritis pain than he is going to try the most minimally invasive procedure just like other doctors. Then later there's other options, but he knows that opiates are generally not for long term use as they simply aren't as effective as they once were and you need more and more to treat the same pain. If your going to go to Dr. Griver with the intention of being on opiates without establishing a patient doctor relationship than go elsewhere. Please don't leave a bad review when you don't get what you want. You get what you need with Dr. Griver and that's a doctor who is going to listen to your problems, get the proper treatment ordered, do right by you as a patient, and support you in your struggles.

I had excruciating sciatic nerve pain. Dr. Griver made the correct assessment and then after a series of injections I got complete resolution of my pain.

After my second injection I had some complications a black eye which in weeks time lost the vision my left ear lost its hearing along with my vision. The burning pain from my lower back to my shoulder blades I couldn’t move. When I called to see what to do the rude nurse told me it has nothing to do with the shot and to call back in 2 weeks for my next shot. Are these crazies nuts. Not even a come in to check up visit just come back so we can take your money. Just like most of these cracker jax doctors around here. Thanks to Dr Griver i am pain-free for the first time in many years

Dr. Griver is an extremely intelligent and compassionate doctor. He has a wonderful demeanor and a calming disposition. He has performed several procedures on me. His office has been quick to schedule them and he has been extremely caring throughout. I can't say enough good things about this office!

he was using a mri that was 5 years old playing "pin the tail on the donkey" with my spine 2 times before telling me we should get another mri..wow I said that but I guess the patient isn't heard.. travel out of the area beware!!! u were warned!

Left 5 voicemails on 5 different days. When I did get a call back the person who called me. Wouldn't let me speak. I will fine someone else and make sure no one I know will be using these pain management Dr.

I have been a patient for 4 Years. The Office staff Are very professional. The Doctor, Doctor's Assistants & Nurses take their time and listen to the patients and give Plenty of Options to help treat their injury And/or injuries. I have been dealing with pain management for 16 years now. I have only had one visit with Dr. Griver so far and he has explained more to me about my condition and my options in that one visit than any doctor has in the past 16 years ! Griver and his staff were all very caring and friendly . Dr Griver took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. This Dr is all about shots that don't work! If you have an emergency or change to your condition you get to see his assistant she is horrible. He doesn't see you unless he is stabbing you with a needle

Easy to talk to. Listens to you, and never makes you feel rushed. Explains in depth what his suggestions are and does not pressure you. Addressed my pain issues without medication which is exactly what I wanted. Process of having my nerves burned in my back has given me a whole new life without the pain I've been having for 10 years. Wish I found him sooner! Staff is friendly and always willing to accommodate you.

Dr Griver is probably the best doctor I have ever met, he is compassionate, he gives ample time to examination, explaining the diagnosis, the options and to treatment as required. He is very good at what he does. He is always available and will even call back to see how his patients are doing the day after the procedures. He has even called back on weekends. I would never chose any other Doctor.

Dr Griver was recommended by my regular Md for fibromyalgia pain. After following his recommendations, my pain is noticably reduced, and I find myself able to be so much more active. I highly recommend Dr Griver to anyone dealing with chronic pain! His recommendations for me have been spot on and I can't express how grateful I am! Be ready to do your part, and good luck.

So impressed with Dr Grover and his abilities, that when he left the practice to open his own office, my husband and I followed the Dr to his new practice. Have been patients of Dr Griver since 2009, and don't want to see another pain management Dr. He will keep trying things until he finds the best solution for his patients.

I have been with Dr Griver for about 7 years now. I followed him from the practice he was in to his own practice when he left. I know he listens to what I have to say and councils me about medications and treatment.
