It was the worst he wasn't Pleasant personable an very condescending I felt like he had already judge me before I had even sat down at one point asked me well what do you think I'm supposed to do an what did I expect since I have ongoing cronic pain issue and told me to eat less that that would somehow miraculously would take my Osteo degenerative bone disease osteoarthritis and heal itself he was very rude there was no one in the office which tells the kind of service that he provides I went out of town to Stamford Connecticut from Bridgeport Connecticut to disappointed an insulted I'm telling anyone who will listen do not go to this doctor he does not know what the hell he's talking about he incapable of handling adults with real chronic pain and real chronic issues if you look under his name he says he's a pediatrician MD the only reason he has a star at all because I had to put one down an the nurse in the office wasn't much better I felt they are racist and discriminatory toward certain nationality of people I wouldn't trust my dog in enter at your own risk

He lied and said he wouldn’t bill my insurance and now I have a claim. I paid him via credit card and that now can’t go towards my bill from insurance. I am disappointed that he lied to me, twice about this. Really a scam of a doctor anyways.

Dr . Avi Weiner is a blessing to our community. His grace, poise and competence are excellent. I would highly recommend DR. Weiner to anyone needing an orthopaedist. I was extremely fortunate that he was the on call orthopaedist the day I had a serious fall and ended up in Stamford Hospital Emergency Room. He was extremely professional and knowledgable in his explanations to me. He answered all my questions without rushing me. He followed up with my PMD and cardiologist before continuing treatment for me which resulted in surgery, He is very kind, emotionally supportive and not to forget an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend him without reservation to anyone who needs orthopaedic assistance.

My mom went to see Dr. Avi with broke elbow and his diagnosis and suggestions are very accurate and help her a lot. Now she is fully recovered. Thank you so much Dr. Avi!

Dr. Wiener is very professional and knowledgeable. He treated me twice for foot bone injuries, and even after he tells me that I’m good to walk, he still follows up with me to be sure that everything it ok. He’s also treated my aunt; I didn’t even know that until recently. I would definitely recommend him to anyone; I know if I break another bone I know who I’m going to. Great doctor..!!

Tore my Achilles June 28 2017. Saw Dr. Weiner July 10. He booked me for surgery THE NEXT DAY. Absolutely fantastic job. Both he and the staff at the Tully Center at Stamford Hospital were very good. Note his consultations are no-nonsense, and he has a dry wit. (I appreciate doctors who test patients' knowledge with questions -- this is not to make you feel foolish, it's to explain what you need to know.) Fantastic results in repairing my torn left Achilles tendon. Spring 2018: Sought relief from chronic elbow tendinitis. (I've been taking Humira bi-weekly for 10 years to manage arthritis.) After a thorough discussion I opted to take an injection to the left lateral epicondyle duct and I had great results again. Running Score: Achilles Surgery = A+. Elbow Tendinitis Relief = A+. I am a physician and have worked with Dr. Wiener professionally and personally. Dr Wiener is experienced , competent and efficient. Dr. Wiener has a dry sense of humor which should not be mistaken for a lack of compassion and caring. He cares for his patients and is not an alarmist which is very important in this specialty.

I went to Dr Weiner with a bad ankle injury from running. He was extremely thorough and personable and took his time examining me. I never felt rushed, as sometimes I do when at the doctors. His post injury follow up was great and he gave me a comprehensive rehab regimen. I would definitely visit him again if I need an ortho.

Dr. Weiner has treated and cared for all 3 of my children as well as many of my other family members. His clinical skills are excellent and his diagnoses are always accurate. I wish there were more honest and excellent doctors like him. I trust his opinion and value his candor and good sense of humor alike. Highly recommend him.

Dr weiner had amazing bedside manner - I had hurt my back and couldn't move and he really helped put my mind at ease and told me what I needed to do to get better. He really helped me - I will definitely be using him again if needed.

This was my first and last time visiting Dr. Weiner. He has never had me as a patient and knew nothing about me or my background. Upon entering the room he never introduced himself to me. He then went on to spend more time telling me that my biological clock was ticking and that I better hurry up and get married to reporduce. When he heard my last name immediatly asked if that was my husbands. I am not married and I do not have kids and I am 27. It was very unprofessional and very uncomfortable.
