Posting this for the health of your child: My son who was the patient and 16 months old at the time was brushed aside. My son's issues were ignored and I felt rushed through the appointment. Moreover, the doctor discounted the severity of my son’s allergies. Had I followed his recommendation, my son would have been in tremendous discomfort and pain, not to mention potential risk of a life threatening attack. In addition, every decision we made at the time had strong impact on my son's feeding developmental stages as he was still a baby and due to his allergies struggling to learn how to eat solids. Every misstep, cost us a few more weeks of correction to get him to eat better... I waited three months for this appointment only for it to result with basically medical negligence on the doctor's behalf. It is dangerous, and this is why I felt strongly that I needed to write this review. I highly recommend seeing a different allergy specialist that will listen and work to understand your child with you, so that you can find the right path forward. Good luck! Dr. Deener is a wonderful doctor. One of the best at what he does. Very thorough and cares about his patients. The other patients that I see in the waiting area every week, feel exactly the same.
