Dr. Augustus Rodgers

Ongoing patient. I’ve finally found a truly competent therapist. I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Rodgers. He’s helped me move toward positive goals more quickly in 2 sessions than previous therapists have in months and years. I came to him with major depression, anxiety, and CPTSD diagnoses; his experience is cutting through the clutter of early therapy, and helping me recover.

I was referred to Dr. Rodgers by my PCP for testing for ADHD if necessary due to inability to focus, forgetfulness, etc. Typical symptoms of adult-diagnosed ADHD. My PCP felt like the diagnosis was right and sent me to Dr. Rodgers for confirmation. The check-in was great and front-desk staff were pleasant. I called after the appointment very upset and wanting an appointment with literally any other provider. I probably should have waited to call when I was less upset, but the person who answered was very wonderful and patient. I truly appreciate them. The rest of the experience was horrifying. Dr. Rodgers was not easy to talk to, interrupted me, spent more time talking about himself, egotistical, seemed more concern about issues unrelated to my situation, and used strange examples to reach a weird, convoluted point that wasn't even relevant to me at all. He even kept forgetting my name and asked me several times throughout our conversation that lasted nearly an hour what my name was. I
