Dr. Audrey Michelle Weissman

I went in today for an appointment for my son, I called in ahead of time and asked if I could see Dr.Weissman they said yes and that she does see kids. Upon arrival I was informed that the doctor wasn’t in yet after waiting close to 12pm. My appointment was at 11:30am, I was then told to proceed by a very unhappy medical assistant, she was clearly not in a good mood and even told me she had a bad headache. I was then told to wait and wait I did, it’s now 12:20 pm and my toddler is extremely uncomfortable with so much waiting that I go and look for the manager because I’ve honestly had enough waiting. When i ask management why I was assigned a physician assistant versus the actual doctor , yes I was visible upset at this time and my voice was probably upset, out of nowhere the physician assistant VIOLA, comes out and basically screams at me saying that she won’t treat my son because i’m clearly against providers, she walked out screaming this like a mad person, mind you I didn’t even know who it was for a few seconds. I am a therapist myself and have encountered clients who refuse treatment, are upset , and I as a professional have never treated them in this manner, let alone got upset because a patient was clearly asking why I wasn’t seeing the actual doctor which as a patient I have every right to ask if I am indeed seeing an actual MD. The only good part about this was the manager who tried to smooth things over but at this time it was just honestly too much to even be at that office. I didn’t want to wait another hour to see another provider because literally a physician assistant came out and yelled at me like we were in a trailer park about to go at it. The lack of professionalism from the physician assistant was incredible. If I were running a business this would not be the type of professional I would hire to represent me especially since the name of the actual doctor is so well respected. This makes me now doubt any credibility of this office since they clearly hired such an individual to work at this establishment.

Dr. Audrey Weissman is absolutely wonderful. She takes her time with you and is very thorough.

Regó Park Medical Center is a place that feels like a true home where you feel compassionately cared for in the best hands. The staff is very friendly dedicated and professional. Dr. Weissman is a excellent professional as her meaning of her name: W=for warmth. E= expressive. I= intelligent. S= sensitive. S= especial. M= might , inner strong. A= affectionate. N= for nurturing for all the patient needs. Dr. Weissman is calm and takes the necessary with each patient in orden to listen and examine them correctly in orden to have the correct diagnosis. I n my partícula case, it has been of incalculable help in my health problem because she inspired me with confidence that my health would improve. It is my belief that everything in life needs its processing time, nothing is instantaneous, especially a medical appointment that is something serious. We as patients need to understand that the staff that assists the Health professional need their time to process the paperwork pertaining to each medical record in orden to us better service. Doctor WEISMAN is the most professional doctor in town. She truly is a doctor that makes sure her patients get the proper treatment they need. I have be coming to her office for more than 17 years. She has tremendous help me with my allergies and other health issues that other doctors couldn’t explain.

I really like Dr. Weissman. She's wonderful, patient and knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile to help you - by far the best allergists I've ever seen. However, the office where she works is a complete mad house!! The staff seems disorganized and they overbook appointments. You literally have to spend half of your day in order to get thru. I felt like I was in a hospital emergency room - this is how crazy this place is!! I filled out a pile of papers and sat in the waiting room for 3 hours afterwards.. left with a huge headache. When I got home I was completely exhausted.. As much as I enjoy seeing Dr. Audrey Weissman, I don't think I will be coming back. I really like Dr. Weissman. Dr. Audrey Weissman presents herself as a doctor that is thorough and she does all of these extra tests that at times- seems excessive, but you feel that you are getting taken care of. In 2016, I went to her for the first time and underwent a lot of blood and skin allergy testing. She told me that I was allergic to certain things but that I was also low in Vitamin D and prescribed me as such. Recently, 6 years later, I log into the Quest Diagnostics app for the first time and see that in my test results from 2016 (I did not realize I could access them), I tested positive for some variation of Lupus. For 6 years, I did not know this. She told me I was low in Vitamin D but failed to mention that I had a connective tissue disease. I emailed one of the office employees and further more called the office manager, in not one of those correspondence did Dr. Weissman relay that she was anyway apologetic. I did not receive a phone call from her at all. It is extremely unprofessional to call blood tests and then not review that but on top of that, I am an upset patient that did not hear from her. The office manager, Phillip, is a very nice man who is working hard to try to make this office run smoothly. Unfortunately, his efforts do not yet show, the office is extremely backed up as they take walk ins and appointments. I have never gone to the office and spent less than 3 hours there. When I told one of the office employees that I needed to head out (to another doctor- something I did not need to share with her), she got incredibly snippy with me. I found her to be an extremely unprofessional worker. Some of the staff members there are extremely kind but overall are disorganized. I would not recommend this office to a single person.

I filled out a lot of paper work and waited 2 hour there and at the end they tell me I have to change my primary doctor to there clinic or I cant see any doctor in there clinic . It's a scam in that clinic 5910 junction blvd Elmhurst Ny 11373.

Very long wait even you have scheduled appointments customers service is horrible.

The place is not hygienic at all! No social distancing during this time. It is all cramped with no sanitation and the wait is 30-40 mins even with appointment.

Audrey Weissman is the most competent, thorough doctor I have ever had. This is absolutely patient centered care. She takes careful, special time with each patient. She gets to know whole person for the best informed care possible. The best things come to those who wait. It’s not always fast but sometimes you get out if things what you invest in them. Horrible office. A couple nights ago my boyfriend woke up with a severe allergic reaction. He had to be rushed to the hospital. He made an appointment with Dr. Weissman and was refused because he forgot his ID. Now we have to wait another day with no idea of what caused the reaction.

Very long waits for scheduled appointments. Doctors I’ve interacted with in the allergies department have an attitude. There’s always a hassle to get a refill.

Love her, she's so smart and really has a passion to help. Appointments during the week are best. Wait times are long.

Extremely long wait times. On her bookings through zocdoc it does not specify that you will see a PA and not Dr. Weissman when you book. This office is the closest thing to a scam that I have ever had when going to see a doctor for something simple as getting a prescription for Propecia. I went for a prescription refill over a week ago. They still have not fulfilled the request even after payment from my insurance. Avoid this office at all costs.

Audrey Weissman is a very knowledgeable doctor. However her staffs are highly unprofessional, and incredibly rude. Will discontinue bringing my child for this reason.
