I am a new patient. I was so happy with my service today. The Dental Hygienists I saw was very professional and she was super sweet! Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. I have a lot of experience with serious dental work including half a dozen or so root canals. When my previous dentist in the Elizabeth City area looked in my mouth for the first time, he joked, "Well, I see you've been to the dentist before!" The only teeth in my mouth that haven't been crowned - yet - are my six bottom front teeth and one upper molar. So I speak from experience when I say that Dr. Myers' recent root canal and crown - on a tooth with a decades-old crown that had broken free - was as good as it gets. Before the procedures start, Dr. Myers' friendly staff and soothingly decorated waiting room make anticipating dental work about as pleasant as it's ever going to be. I relocated to Salter Path and hadn't chosen my dentist yet. I had a dental emergency and contacted EIS. The office staff scheduled me in a timely manner and Dr.Aubrey and her dental assistants did a wonderful job. Everyone has been welcoming and professional. I absolutely love this practice. All the staff are super sweet, and they are so calm and caring. I am one of those that has dental anxiety and I feel so comfortable in the seat at Emerald Isle Smiles. I will forever be a patient.

Had good experience in the past. The most recent visit for my daughter wasn't that great. Daughter had appointment they couldn't find it in the system they couldn't even find the notes on the tooth from the original visit. Paying almost $500 cash for just for a filling you would think you would get better service! Very unorganized!

This practice has poor follow up, long waits, poor bedside manner and unethical pricing practices. Also, hygienist was not sterile and dug through clean equipment with dirty gloves from my mouth, making me highly concerned about safety.

During our vacation my baby boy Derek (39) was in tears with a tooth ache. It broke my heart to see him in so much pain. I called and was told they could not get him in but referred me to another Dentist in the area. They could not get him in either but as I hung up discouraged, Crystal called me and said “bring him now”! They crated and numbed his tooth with a script for antibiotics, abscess ugh. They made an apt for the next morning at 11am to give the antibiotics a chance to get in his system and pulled that tooth out. He was able to enjoy the rest of the vacation thanks to this caring Dentist and her assistants. Would recommend this office to anyone and everyone!! The doctor and her staff really put their patient's care and needs first. This is a place you feel very welcomed and cared for every time you walk inside this office. Always very nice, neat, and clean at this office. This is the most friendly and pleasant dental office me and my family have been to. We always look forward to going for our dental appointments because of the care and quality we receive from the doctor and her staff!! You all are awesome and very appreciated! I am a retired Canadian surgeon and recently whilst on my yacht in Beaufort I fractured a tooth. I called the Emerald Isle dental clinic and was received charmingly and immediately given an appointment although the clinic was fully booked. I received quite outstanding service from Dr. Myers and her staff. The dentistry was of the highest standard that I have ever experienced. I even had a crown manufactured in the clinic in 45 minutes. Dr. Myers and her excellent team provided prompt, friendly, professional service to me during my brief vacation on Emerald Isle. They worked me into their busy schedule on the same day I called for an emergency appointment. Problem solved! I highly recommend Emerald Isle Smiles.

I have been having my teeth cleaned every six months for the last several years and I've had both crowns and restorative fillings done at EI Smiles. Dr Myers and her staff have always been friendly, helpful, and professional. I am in my seventies and I have been going to dentists all my life. I am very impressed by Dr. Myers' practice. In particular, Sheila has done most of the preventive cleaning that I have had done and she is not only pleasant but thorough. Deborah is also extremely professional. Hi, I am 68 years old and have always had problems with my teeth. When I was very young my mom took me to Duke for free, so I think I was always with a learning Dentist.or being experimented on..I still have nightmares about that experience... As I have lived and traveled all over and have been to many different dentist...I have had some good and bad dental experiences...including the military in the 1970's OM-Gosh ...the worst... This was my first visit to Aubrey Myers, DDS and I was very happy. Everyone at the office was friendly and helpful. I got a reminder call for my appointment and when I came in they were already expecting me. I had to get new xrays and they did them with little to no discomfort. I also had a normal cleaning that was thorough before Dr Myers came in and checked tooth by tooth. I highly recommend this Dentists office and staff. Great Job!!
