Dr. Galloway saved my mother’s life. God first - He gives - He takes away and then Dr. Galloway. Our world crushed when we found out my mother needed an urgent surgery due to a valve issue. Having lost our father from a heart attack - another heart incident is a pure nightmare for the family - especially for a woman that is the glue and the rock that keeps us together. When they assigned Dr. Galloway - I checked the review and I told my sister - who is also a doctor ... This doctor does not have excellent reviews - I want the best for our mother. Most of the negative reviews were that he did not have bedside manner ... honestly i rather have an amazing surgeon that does an excellent work that doesn’t have wushu washy words ... than the opposite ... because verbal excellence doesn’t fix a heart rupture, an exhausted valve , and other things that they found on my mom’s case. 5 hrs surgery ... I flew overnight from La to Ny - showed up in the hospital and couldn’t see my mom before getting inside the surgery ... My sister’s face was gone ... I tried to cheer her up while my heart was crumbling ... What if I could never see her ? I couldn’t live without her ... After 5 hrs, a phone call - Surgery was a success. Dr. Galloway explained everything in details. A class act- professional - detailed- patient - calm - knowledgable ... Mom was placed in the most beautiful room in NYU Lang one hospital - glassy window - ocean - sunlight ... We spent 7 days in hospital ... starting at the sunset and praying ... waking up from the sunrise and praying... Doctor Galloway visited my mom two more times and he was happy with her recovery. His team was great. We were treated amazing Soon after we found out that doctor Galloway doesn’t do many surgeries anymore - he is focused on leadership duties. It made us feel even more safe - The best of the best had executed the surgery.
