Dr. Ashok Sonni

I heard great personal testimonies from people so I came from St Pete to begin my care. Dr. Sony and ARNP Veronica did not disappoint. They were very patient oriented/detailed, excellent knowledge and skills, and very pleasant to work with. Thank you.

Dr veronica is amazing. So through and explains everything. Great personality. What I didn't like was my appointment being cancelled for a whole month. When someone is in pain that is way too long to wait.

I have been to dr. Sonni several times for the same issue.I have questions I forgot to ask while I was in the office and he would not answer them over the phone that afternoon or the next day they said I had to come back in. Then when I was in the office he would not answer the questions either. I have had a terrible experience with this doctor.I'm still not healed I can't get an answer on why he won't refer me to another doctor for a second opinion.I am very frustrated I would not recommend him. He has a terrible bedside manner. I had two people that told me they would not recommend him and I should have listened. I'll have to say the rest of the staff and the office is wonderful. Very pleasant to work with.

Had three appointments but never saw Dr. Sonni. 1 Made an appointment with Dr Sonni waited 45 minutes and was seen by either an RN or a PA. (was not advised of the change due to their scheduling issues.) 2 I was sent to Advanced Imaging for Cat scan and told to make an appointment with Dr. Sonni after receiving the scan. Had an appointment the following day waited 30 minutes and when the RN or assistant loaded the disk from Advance, it was blank. I was told to go back to Advance for another copy of the disk and make another appointment with Dr Sonni. 3 I made third appointment with Dr Sonni and went to the office with the new disk and after waiting 45 minutes again, I left the office. In total waited over an hour and half and had four trips to the office and Advanced Imaging and never saw Dr Sonni, nor did I receive any follow up or call from Dr. Sonni or his staff.

Dr. Sonni is a very compassionate and genuine Physician. It was very easy to discuss my current pain with him. I was very hesitant about receiving an injection but he was very sincere in his approach and now I am able to complete my daily duties of life.

Dr. Sonni and his staff made the whole process of repairing my spine as informative and pain free as possible. I would recommend Dr. Sonni highly.

Dr Sonni is very accommodating and helps you through understanding your problem and its solutions. His office isn't like so many that keep you waiting an hour; within just a few minutes I was called back and greeted by his friendly staff. His PA's, Veronica and Suzzana are very knowledgeable and so down to earth personable. I don't feel like just another number when they were treating me. Dr Sonni is worth your time to check out!

Dr Sonni and his staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. I would not hesitate to refer anyone seeking non-surgical pain relief to Dr Sonni. In fact, I have sent my wife to Dr Sonni for pain relief from 3 prior unsuccessful back surgeries. Dr Sonni and the other Docs at FL Joint & Spine Institute are first class professionals

I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and very helpful. Dr. Sonni is just wonderful and really cares about a patient's health.

Both Dr. Sonni and his staff exuded warmth, care and concern at our first visit this week. I am completely confident that I am in great hands!

Being from a foreign country, he speaks excellent English! Explains the procedure that you need in lamen terms. Has an excellent staff and waiting time for your appointment was unusually short!

Doctor Sonni was exceptionally compassionate and aware of the pain my wife was suffering. His appearance was neat and clean and his conversation with me about the surgery, expectations beforehand and his explanations after the surgery were very good and all were broached in laymen terms to where they could be understood!
