I left a review telling my unfortunate story about Dr. Kirkwood’s office refusing to see me after I told them I was going to a fertility specialist. After leaving the review I was called so they could “clear things up” & then they told me that everything I said was wrong & I had to have misunderstood because that’s not their policy. So they take no accountability for their staff as well & will belittle you over the phone.

She’s a really great doctor who truly cares about her patients. She’ll help you pick the birth control that’s best for you and takes the time to find what works best for you, individually. She does rush appointments at times but maybe it’s only when you’re slightly late to appointments that this happens

Friendly staff who respected me and listened to my questions/concerns. Never felt rushed during my appointment

She explained everything and gave me me options.

I got to meet dr. kirkwood during my miscarriage when dr. vanmeter was out in vacation and I instantly liked her she explained things and gave me options and said which route she thought was best for me. so this time I chose her and she delievered my rainbow baby. I wasn't too haooy about her chosing an induction cause I felt it wasn't necessary like she did. But the wose part about the whoke thing was just the waiting game for my body to do what it needed. She actually cares about her patients and she gets to see my little sweet pea monday after 3 weeks at my check up ????

A wonderful experience. Dr. Kirkwood was caring and compassionate. She explained everything thoroughly and gave me many options for treatment and medication. Her office team was wise and helpful.This was my best gynecologist experience in many years. Thank you Dr. Kirkwood and staff!

Dr. Kirkwood is amazing! Explains everything super calmly and simply. Nursing staff at Laporte was so amazing. Everyone is super personable and friendly. I was in great hands for sure.

Okay for my first visit. I'm used to a more personal experience with a specialist, she brought in a student with her. Didn't care for that at all, especially since she didn't ask if I was comfortable with it. Didn't really discuss goals until I brought it up before leaving, pressure to get labs that I've already made clear I don't want. I'll continue to go because I'm too late in my pregnancy to stress about finding the right doctor- transitioning here from Milwaukee with my doctor for over 10 years is a huge adjustment.. Update, my second appointment (Jan 5th basically a month from first review) was much better than the first! Pretty to the point, nothing out of the ordinary with me or baby so it was a quick visit. Appreciate her hearing me on not wanting particular labs this time! Updated 2 stars to 4! Okay for my first visit. First time I met Ashley. She was very kind, patient & caring! Something you don’t see much these days…anyway, she took her time explaining things, answered any questions I had and was VERY good at her job!!

Dr. Kirkwood was friendly and professional. Didn't make me feel uncomfortable, was very thorough when explaining my upcoming appointments and was willing to answer any questions I had.

Great office staff. Dr. Kirkwood is very thorough, explains things well, and is not in a rush to leave the room. I would definitely recommend her.

Doctor Kirkwood is a wonderful doctor, she made me feel totally at ease. She is possibly the best gynecologist that I've ever met and I'm 61,so I've been to quite a few. She has a great attitude and you hardly even realize that she's working until she's done. I will and have recommended her to my friends and family! ????❤

I was able to get in in a timely manner. I didn’t feel rushed talking to the doctor. The nurse gave me sufficient time to explain any issues I’ve had. I was happy with my entire visit including checking out.

From my first appointment for birth control 4 years ago to coming in more frequently because I’m pregnant I have NEVER had a bad experience. Even when things got a little concerning she ALWAYS made sure I knew what my options were and discussed ways to help even the simplest things I had trouble with. I’ve had moments where I felt dumb asking questions and the staff assured me if I didn’t ask them they would be concerned. It was a joke but still make me feel good. Even when I had issues with my pregnancy they talked me through everything. I wouldn’t go to another doctor.
