Most rude and unprofessional Doctor I've ever met!!!

I went there after 6 months of not seeing him and the first thing he said to me was how much weight i gained when he knew i had a history of eating disorders. i cried in my car for like 30 minutes. the next day was thanksgiving and i barely ate anything

Dr Jain is the most awful doctor I have seen in my life. He diagnosed me within 90 seconds of my first appointment, he had no interest in my genesight dna test, no interest in my personal experiences and did not listen to anything I had to say. Anxiety and depression is often comorbid with untreated adhd. He will not let you finish a sentence and appointments last 3-4 minutes. I am so grateful I found a neurologist that was able to help me and am now recovering from his horrible “treatment”. I intend to contact the medical board and make a formal complaint. It is absolutely ridiculous that an institution of learning gave this person advanced degrees. I would also like to add he never should have taken me off of lexapro that was working wonderfully for my depression and should have added Wellbutrin instead of taking me off a med that was showing positive results. Dr Jain is unlike any psychiatrist that I have seen over the years and, that’s a good thing! He truly wants to be of assistance when I need him. He’s Professional and has a way of putting me at ease.

Do not go to Dr Jain if you value your job or your employment. Dr Jain refused to fill out paperwork from my employer because he said he does not understand and he does not want to be involved. This ultimately cost me my job. Distress from him not filling out my paperwork caused me much anguish.

Much worse off. Just throws pills at you and seems to take offense when they're not helping. Can be rude at times. In my opinion very incompetent, taking to other professionals about my experience they seem to agree.

I felt Dr. Jain helped me tremendously in a time I really needed his help. He is intuitive and competent. He listens and adjusts medications as needed. I think his full caseload speaks volumes. He is hard to book as a new patient.

Dr. Jain rushed me through each of the two appointments I had with him, and that was enough for me. He treated me like a number and when I tried to ask questions about my condition or explain why I thought what he was recommending might not be a good idea he dismissed me and tried to make me leave his office. I called his nurse about a week later when I believed the medicine he prescribed was making my anxiety and depression worse, and he had her call me back saying if I did not want to stop taking the one medicine I thought was actually helping me, I would need to find a new doctor. Needless to say I will no longer be visiting Dr. Jain's office... I was better off before I started treatment with him, to be completely honest.

Similar experience to most. absolutely horrible. Kept prescribing me medicine that made me sicker then gets offended that the random 7 pills carelessly thrown at me aren't working " What else do you want me to prescribe you" I think is what he said. Much worse off then when I started a year later and I thought my problems were bad before. New psychiatrist couldn't believe all the stuff he had me on and his actions.

This man, which I can’t even call a “doctor”, sent me into a downward spiral. He did not listen to my symptoms, and insisted he knew better.. Gave me drugs that nearly killed me. Very arrogant and rude. No compassion whatsoever. He made me feel like I was just a piece of meat, and not a human being. Best thing I did was finally leave him. I am feeling so much better now, and on the right medication.

If I could give negative stars I would. I only switched because U of C couldn't come to an agreement with United Healthcare. So at recommendation of my therapist I saw Dr Jain today. What an arrogant, rude, inconsiderate jerk! He decided to diagnose me with Bipolar 2, then changed all my meds. I am at least smart enough to know taking a patient off certain meds will cause bad withdrawals but he didn't care. Once I started questioning him, he then dismissed me!!! Literally!! NEVER SEEING HIM AGAI

I've been with Dr. Jain for 5yrs now. When I first started to see him we were on the same page bit as time went on he sent me for routine lab work little did I know he also put in for a drug test. I'm not going to lie if he would of asked me I would of told him I smoke weed. He put me on some medicine that I would sleep walk I did one time and fell fast first into a floor model TV. He took me off now he wants to put me back on it. He doesn't listen and tries to be a parent. I have parents.

After intake, he switched my meds without tapering which sent me into a suicidal spiral. By the end of the week, I was ready to admit myself for inpatient b/c I was a danger to myself. Found a new doc who adjusted current meds and I was back to myself (although that wasn't that great) within a few days.

Dr. Jain was completely disrespectful and RUDE. He treated me like I was a crack addict coming to get drugs from him. I moved here a year ago, and the condition I was being treated for in a different state for 2 years, he told me was something I was making up. I told him to refer to my paperwork sent over from my previous psychiatrist, and he told me that any assessment could be rigged (like I had created my condition purposely). Now he has gone on vacation and won't refill my prescription.

Dr Jain was good, personable and willing to hear what you have to say. However his office staff is rude, lacks compassion, poor records, accusatory, unkind, unhelpful, unprofessional, and doesn't care to listen to a thing you say - only has their agenda to discuss and doesn't want to hear from you. While the doctor was good, its his front staff that patients have to deal with on health issues, symptoms, side affects, appointments, and insurance as such I would not recommend this doctor

I would not recommend Dr. Jain because every time I sat down with him he made me fell uncomfortable. He was too stern and didn't allow me to talk. Every medication he put me on was the wrong one, and even when I tried telling that he wouldn't listen to me. Every time I would explain to him how bad my anxiety was, he refused to treat it. Only now that I have moved and got a new psychiatrist am I getting the right treatment.
