Don’t waste your time here. Take your loved one somewhere else. There’s no reason for rudeness and that’s what you will get after waiting 2+ hours to see the Dr. I’ve seen other reviews that say “Good Dr,s are worth the wait” in this case when you do get back there the techs do all of the exams and Dx and the Dr spends all of 5 minutes to confirm what the techs do. The techs only talked to each other while examining my aunt with dementia, I was also in the room. Your calls are NEVER returned either. I definitely see why his star rating is very low. He might be a good Dr I don’t know 5 minutes was a bit to quick for me to judge. One other thing I observed was my aunt had a hard time keeping her eyes open for drops so the tech put his fingers in her eye to hold it open, No Gloves! I wouldn’t want someone’s fingernails in my eye.

In my opinion, Dr. Abbas is foremost the most considerate and professional opthamologist I've ever been associated with including Baytown, Texas. I am very pleased with his professionalism and courteous methods. He and staff all kept me comfortable and at ease prior, during and post operative procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Asad Abbas to anyone seeking a "Top Of The Field" Opthamologist.

I had two cysts on my eye and Dr Abbas took care of them in the office. His receptionist Courtney-I love and adore! She encouraged me, took care of me on a late Friday afternoon, and worked me into their busy schedule. Highly recommend

I have cysts on my right eye. Dr Abbas removed one in the office and is monitoring the second one. I don’t like doing reviews but felt like I needed to write one. His receptionist Courtney encouraged me in the right direction on a late Friday afternoon. She worked me into their busy schedule. She is ADORABLE AND WONDERFUL!!! I highly recommend them.

Today I went for my annual appointment which had been rescheduled for 10:40 am by Dr. Abbas' office. I arrived at 10:37 am paid my copay and was checked in and sat down. 11:40 am still sitting in waiting room, with no explanation why such a long wait. 12:30 am still no explanation. There is always a long wait but never this long, at this point it has been almost 2 hours and I am the only patient still in the waiting room, so I go to the window to ask for my copay to be reimbursed. Which they did. I told the lady that I was leaving and would find another doctor. Why they make you an appointment and you have to wait for almost 2 hours and not even get called to the exam area is beyond me. By the way, no I'm sorry or anything. My wife stopped going here over a year ago for this same reason. I would advise anyone considering this office to look elsewhere. They are very inconsiderate of their patients. They just lost another patient and don't seem to care.

Dr. Abbas is an expert and extremely helpful and calming with explanations and resolutions. Very professional and easy to understand. the staff is amazing. I will definitely recommend him !

If, as a senior, you appreciate being addressed by a condescending, disrespectful millennial, and pressured into unnecessary and invasive procedures by a god/doctor this place gets 5 STARS! “Dr.” Abbas even gave me patently false information to pressure me into a procedure I was not comfortable with! This outfit is only one step away from an abusive nursing home!

Excellent Service the Best Doctor

A total professional, I Had cataract surgery and it came off without a hitch. The staff was caring and knowledgably without being cold. The whole procedure took about 1 hour from start to finish. Dr. Abas was reassuring and skilled, and the next day in the office let me know if I need anything do not hesitate to contact him.

Dr. Abbas found a retina serious retina problem that has been affecting my vision for years and optometrists had kept giving me new glasses and taking pictures of my retina without ever actually looking at the pictures. He referred me to an excellent retina specialist for scarring on my retina. Dr. Abbas just did cataract surgery on my right eye. The iv needle was the most painful part the procedure and my vision was vastly improved immediately. Way to go Dr Abbas!

Dr. abbas is OK but his office staff especially surgery scheduling is not impressive. Appt. times are very inaccurate. Had to wait over an hour passed appt. time before regular exam even began. Not recommended.

2 years ago I went to Dr. Abbas to get my eyes checked for what I thought were issues related to diabetes. I had a late appointment. Because he took his time and ran all the tests it turned out that my retina was severely detached. They stayed late as he tried to get me set up for surgery that night. It didn't happen that night but he had me in a retinal doctors office at 7am. The retinal dr commented on Dr. Abbas' effort and diagnosis! I came close to losing my eye. Great doctor!

I wanted to wait a month or so before writing any review over Dr. Abbas because I wanted to see how well I healed. I visited for a chalazion removal. From the very start, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I do not have insurance so I explained to them my difficult financial situation and they offered me way to set up a payment plan. I was nervous before my procedure, but he helped me remain calm by explaining to me the procedure as he was operating. He made me feel very safe. 10/10
