I highly recommend Dr.Ray. He is extremely knowledgeable and will take the time to help you understand what’s going with your heart. He did vein procedures on my legs & they are so much better now!!! I can not thank him enough!!!!

My mom was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a heart attack upon meeting dr ray I voiced my concerns he shook my hand and said don’t worry I will do everything and figure all this out. After spending the weekend in the hospital we are now back at the hospital with more cardiac problems. I will be in contact with the medical board and lawyers and will not stop until this man can’t play with anyone else’s loved ones life. His favorite phrase is “I think” not the best idea when you’re talking about someone heart. I have been a patient of Dr. Ray for almost 15 years. We have had no problems during all these years. I consider him an excellent cardiologist. Had an issue this last year with a prescription refill and was dismissed with standard letter stating I was not happy with our Dr./Patient relationship so Dr. Ray could not see me anymore. This is sad as I cannot see any other cardiologist in the group. I have tried to speak with him and CEO of the Amarillo Heart Group with regards to this dismissal and have been unsuccessful.

Today was the 2nd time we spoke with Dr.Ray (after my mother's heart cath)... Both times I felt that He and His staff were very Helpful and Informative. Dr.Ray is an Extremely knowledgeable and professional man... I find his demeanor to be impeccable, which to some it seems opinionated... his job demands strict honesty(it's never fun to be the Bearer of Bad news). I thought Dr. Ray was Fantastic!

Loved him my first visit. Kind, listened and seemed concerned. Second visit. Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde! Horrible attitude. Would not allow me to speak or ask questions. I was told I had leaky valves but did not explain which ones or why it was not a concern. Told him I felt like I was going to pass out every time I tried to work out. He told me “Pass out then”. What doctor treats his patient like this? I left crying and completely in the dark still about my health.

Absolutely love Dr. Ray. He is my father's heart dr. He is very caring and very knowledgeable. He will answer all your questions and break down the answers so that you understand it. He also remembers his patients and their history without having to look at his charts (although he diligently will). I actually work for a medical insurance company so I speak with many patients. I've never heard a complaint about Dr. Ray and I always give his name when I'm asked for a personal ref.

Dr. Ray will not allow you to ask questions about s concerns you have.

Dr. Ray is awesome!!! Best Doctor in the whole wide world. He is so very knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Ray you are are guardian angle!!!!

I think Dr Ray should stick to hearts and leave veins to someone else

The best DR.

Dr. Ray is by far the best dr we have ever seen. He listens! He is not condescending. He is always engaged and works hard to heal and to meet every need of the patient. He will also tell you the hard truths. Personally, I like to know what I'm up against without sugar coating. He is such a nice man and I never wonder about his decisions.
