Dr. Arun Samy is very knowledgeable in his expertise. His approach is methodical, engaging, meticulous, and he utilizes all the tools at his disposal for diagnosis and treatment. I recently had both eye cataracts removed by Dr. Samy, and can sum up the care he provided in one word - AWESOME! He made sure I was engaged (as his patient) and assured before, during, and post surgery. I had absolutely no issues at all with both surgeries, and both eyes are healing really well. No pain, no discomfort, no hiccups at all! I know people who’ve had cataract surgeries and everyone had issues, so I really credit Dr. Samy for doing such a great job with both my eye surgeries. Dr. Samy was excellent. I had cataracts on both eyes removed. He thoroughly explained the procedure before the surgery. This put me at ease. His post surgery care was very helpful and comforting. Any concerns that I had were carefully addressed. I would highly recommend Dr. Samy to other cataract sufferers. His assistant is very also very good. I think Tom is his name. Dr. Sami was the surgeon for my RIGHT PHACOEMULSIFICATION OF CATARACT WITH INTRAOCULAR LENS IMPLANT. Dr Samy had his technitions measure and remeasure my eyes for best data re my cataract procedure, and had me return later on to measure again and reevaluate the data, necessary re my dry-eye condition, and other problems. We discussed options and my concerns, while feeling more comfortable with his responses and reasoning than with other opthamologists I'd experienced. He's resolutely exacting and detailed, and is informative, easing my anxiety with the procedures, which were a success with no unintended problems.

In January and February of this year, Dr Samy removed cataracts from both of my eyes and implanted toric IOL's to correct my astigmatism and distance vision. The surgeries were done three weeks apart and the results were great! I highly recommend Dr Samy to anyone who is looking for an Ophthalmologist . He has a wonderful easy-going manner, carefully listens to any and all of your concerns, and takes the time to explain all options and procedures in great detail. Dr. Samy is wonderful. I had a cataract removed from each eye. I’m on Medicare and wasn’t able to afford the more expensive Lasik-type replacement lenses; nevertheless, after my cataract extraction I am able to see without glasses for the first time in years.

I thank God for Dr. Samy. Years ago I had a botched lasik procedure in both eyes by another optometrist. As the years went on and a cataract formed, Dr Samy removed the cataract and I had never seen so well out that eye before. Recently, he did the other eye where a cataract also formed and I now have 20/20 in both eyes. He spent whatever time was needed to make sure it would be successful. Dr. Samy recently performed cataract surgery on both eyes. In both eyes, I can now see without glasses, except for very tiny print. I spent a dollar for reading glasses with a focus of 1.5. I can see to drive during the day and at night without glasses. I can see my computer screen to work without glasses. My only complaint is he did not tell me that after surgery, I would see so very well I would have to spend an enormous amount of time cleaning all the dirt I had not seen in my house for all too long.
