Dr. Arturofelix Enage Castro JR.

We are so thankful for Dr. Castro. Prior to my husband being under Dr. Castro's care, my husband had reoccurring pneumonia as well as other issues. Because of Dr. Castro's expertise, experience and genuine compassion and concern my husband's challenges are much more manageable. We are so appreciative for him and all he does to help provide my husband with a better quality of life.

Dr. Castro has been nice to me each time I have seen him. But I have to cancel my appt. today because I forgot about the pre-operative instructions and and ate breakfast and drank coffee. Oops

I'm a retired nurse and have been to many doctors for COPD and he's the best, he's competent, kind and knows lungs and copd, I can't thank him enough for the care I've received and would recommend him to family and friends

Dr. Castro performed a bronchoscopy of my lungs on February 22th, 2019 Did not even look at the report until my follow-appointment on March 17, 2019. He ordered Analysis and cultures ordered from brushings and washings. He did not go deep enough in the report. 1. postoperative diagnosis was nodules and pneumonia. No treatment was given. 2. Also in the report which he did not give me or send to my PCP. Dr. recognized in the report sent to him that something wasn't right, something was missing. So he went to the hospital where the procedure was done and found the final report which showed, Aspergillus terreus complex requiring immediate treatment. He has put my health at risk, this can cause death. I have been referred to another pulmonologist.I am extremely angry and so is my PCP.

Dr. Castro was thurough and explained everything so I could understand. I was throughly impressed with the care and information I was given, he was truly a breath of fresh air (pun intended). ??

My husband had Dr. Arturo Castro for his care at Banner Hospital and for appointments and found him to be a very lackadaisical doctor. He should have ordered a biopsy in his first hospital visit for his cancer but failed to do this and instead went on a two week vacation without having a substitute doctor covering his patients. It was very hard to try to move up my husband's appointment when he was having life-threatening situations but just got the runaround with his office crew.
