He has been my kids doctor since 2015. I think the service has improved. I never have had a problem with the doctor. His very knowledgeable, he does a very good job at diagnosis. Since covid my family have been sick several times. We have had colds, flu, throat infections. We haven’t had covid yet. Thank god. But he has seen my kids often. Even tho it’s over the phone in zoom. He still takes his time. The medications always works. Thank you Dr. Arturo Q.

The WORST pediatrician in Coachella Valley. He's abrasive, rude, and clearly does not like children. Specifics: came for my son's three ear check up and my son was a little nervous, considering the doctor has no bedside manner, it's clear why he was apprehensive to let the doctor check him. The doctor actually said "most kids at his age know how to behave" - who says that to a mother of a 3 year old. He then said, well I will move onto another patient until he is ready to cooperate. Not reliable : We were very disappointed when we visited Dr. Arturo's office today for the annual physical exam. After we checked in, his staff placed us in a room and did temperature and blood presure check, then she went out and came back few munites later. She told us that you are done today because Doctor doesn't need to see you. I was surprized and asked why? She said everything I checked is nomal. I asked her the doctor has not performed any exam for this annual physical yet, I need to talk to him. She went out and came back telling us that doctor is in an emergency case now and you can come back about one hour (11am) later if you want to see him. I said, of course I need. More disappointed to me when we drove back home, they called us that Dr. Arturo will use facetime to see us at 11am instead going back to their office. At 11:48am, Dr. Arturo called us on FaceTime and asked me how can he help us. I told him that we had an appointment with you today for my daughter's annual physical exam. I would do 0 if possible. I have now 9 month old twins that were born at 28 weeks. He last saw the babies at their 4 month appt. I inquired about the RSV shot and it was “submitted” 10/15/2020 and I checked back several times and his staff always had some excuse as to the reason it was taking so long. They should’ve submitted it before I even asked and the shot should’ve started in November. It’s now December and I had to switch drs because of the lack of care. Come to find out there was never a referral put in for the RSV. Completely inadequate doctors office and he’s really rude and has bad bedside manners.

Not friendly, not answering questions, making fell uncomfortable all the time , sometimes rude, not recommended it all. We try for over 2 years , happy to move on.

The worst patient care. They even want to charge a copy of the lab result. I tolked to my insurance about it, the insurance rep said that ALL the pratice shall not allow to charge ANY money. What the money hunger!

Great Doctor!

I’ve been seeing this doctor since my son was born in 2017. He always seems grumpy but I never had any issues until this last visit I had today. My 2 year lol me son had a fall back in December and had to get stitches in his cheek so he’s a bit traumatized by doctors. My son of course screamed and cried during his check up and the doctor seemed annoyed and kept asking me why he was like this as if my son had a problem. My son is also starting to slowly start talking but not forming full sentences yet and the doctor made me feel like this was such an issue when most of the children I’ve been around didn’t start talking until closer to three. We had just passed the questionnaire they give you where they look for autism or disabilities but my son not forming a sentence at 27 months is so concerning for him. He is rude and unfriendly and just wants in and out of there, especially with a screaming child. I’m definitely going to be looking for a more kid friendly doctor.

He assesses the child quickly but if you have any questions you need to ask quickly because he won’t ask you. He wants to be in and out and honestly does not have a friendly demeanor with the child, family and his staff. I even told a staff member about his demeanor and is there quick turnover w his staff and she said quietly that he keeps them on their toes, meaning I probably won’t be here long.

The wost experience, extremelly rude, we walked out in the middle of consultation even though my child has bronchitis. We decided to go to urgent care to get treated and to avoid anymore of his rudeness. Still unable to explain his hostile attitude since the beginning. My god, we are still in shock. I felt the urge of reporting him immediately at least to avoid more people having such a nightmare like we did, I failed to read the previous reviews. As a county worker and a human being I know the importance of treating people with respect. If you want to avoid an unhappy, rude, unprofessional person please avoid Dr. Quintanilla. He didn't even give us a chance, he apparently disliked the way my son was not breathing in and decided he was going to punish us by going to the next patient to teach us a lesson and for next time for us to follow his instructions as told (he had being with us not more than three minutes or close to that but he was rude from the first second he walked in) even though my son has bronchitis. UPDATE::::: I wanted to give him the benefit of a doubt and wait and see how I liked him. I don’t. It’s been nearly two years and he just doesn’t ever get warmer, less hurried, or more patient. I truly don’t think this man likes children or babies at all. He has no “bedside manners” and he truly does not care one iota about you or your baby outside of his to-do list for your appointment. I’m done! Staff is still great though. He definitely deserves more than one star. I read reviews going in and so I prepared myself for the absolute worst. I think his office staff is very friendly and actually didn’t feel they were disorganized at all. Wait times can be a bit long but that’s kind of the trend I’ve noticed everywhere down here. Very warming smiling doctor positive attitude very pleasant care for children

First time here at the Rancho Mirage Pediatrics office and was greeted and attended right away by the wonderful front ladies. They were very informative and patient with me. The doctor soon came in the room and had the greatest attitude and energy. Very thorough and attentative. I’m loving this office already! Definitely would recommend!

Beat pediatrician ever, he has cared for our kids for 12 years, he speaks to the kids and explains everything to them in a way they understand. Tina the office manager is amazing as well as the other staff, they are great at scheduling appointments and calling back with results.

My husband and I have been taking our 3 year old daughter to Dr. Quintanilla since she was born. It has been an amazing experience. Dr. Quintanilla takes his time with his patients and takes the time to explain the information to parents about their child. Any questions that we have ever asked has been answered right away. They are always able to get us in right away, they are caring, the office is clean (they have a sick side and a well side to their waiting room, which I love) and most importantly, they provide excellent care for my two children. The waiting room is super small. My husband and I took our new born to him 3 times, he was not informative or reassuring. Each time we saw home he would just tell us to read the info points on his website. Terrible doctor. He thought our daughters hips were out of place which can occurs in vaginal births, until I told him I had a c section then he said o no they are fine. Trrruble doctor.

My son had very bad asthma when he was born through two years of age. Dr. Quintanilla saved my sons life and provided the best quality of health care. :(I am sorry but I would NEVER recommend Dr.Quintanilla to anyone (we are actively looking for a new doctor). I have 4 children, two of which were recently under his care. His services keep getting worse and worse. One thing after another. It seems like every time we go in, we ALWAYS run into a problem. Dr. has the worst attitude/customer service and is rarely available or even in the office. Our appointments fill rushed and concerns seem to be brushed under the rug. Dr. Quintanilla has been our pediatrician for the last 15 yrs and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the service our two boys receive! The girls at the front are always happy to help me; especially when I call to get one of our boy's in when they are sick. Tina has been a blessing helping us to get our prescriptions in order since we changed insurances! Doctor and staff deserve a good review. I have been going to Dr. Q for the past 4 years and the experience i have had have always been positive. The staff always acts professional to me and my kids. Always making us feel welcome. Dr has always been the best when it comes to caring for my child. This doctor is beyond rude. Never have I seen a pediatric doctor be bothered by crying children. He literally walked out of the room because my 1 year old was crying. I got no answers on my visit though copay was collected and office will most likely bill my insurance. This man has no business specializing on children.

I am a physical therapist who attended an appointment for a 7 month old with the parent to address concerns. The doctor was abrupt and stated he couldn't exam the 7 year old with a toddler in the room! He chose to examine the infant in a separate room leaving the toddler and 7 year old with staff. Despite describing our concerns, the doctor felt the 7 month old was fine. We were able to get the needed referrals I believe only because I was present as a professional.

I would not recommend Dr. Quintanilla to family or friends. I took my 6 year old son and he didn't do any testing when i told him my son had been seen by his previous doctor for asthma. He is very rude and has a unwelcoming attitude. I told him my son has allergies and he didn't prescribe anything for him or do a referral for a specialist.

I would never recommend Dr. Quintanilla to anbody or anyone!! Terrible experience with him and I'm mind baffled that this Dr would receive a 4 star rating! Sadly my child could not be seen with her prior Pediatric Dr due to him not accepting her ins anymore. I decided to have my daughter be seen with him and it was the worst decision! If you wish to take your child to a Dr that will not listen to a parents concerns or questions for their child then he's your guy! Too bad I can't give him 0 stars

Horrible office! I was scheduled by one of the nurses of this office and came in for the apt . the young blonde nurse then told me that it was not the right appointment. The blonde nurse here does not know how to schedule. I then cane back to the right appointment where she said my insurance was not covered when I had called prior and they said they took it. Absolute worst customer/consumer/patient service. Front staff - not knowledgeable on IEHP insurance coverage per DTAPS. Nor are they knowledgeable on CA Health and Safety Code Section 123100 which establishes a patient's right to access and copy his/her medical records within 5 days. This DOES NOT mean electronic portal. 15 days is allowed for X-Rays, MRI - Electronic portals set up by a local physician's office require the permission of the patient/guardian - And finally, the HEIGHT MEASUREMENT TOOL IS OFF BY 1 INCH. I've been telling them that for 3 yrs now. Compare it to any measuring stick, board in 10 other offices, or better yet, check your child at home, barefeet, heels to the wall, measure at crown point of head. This is a proper mment. The nurse actually told me it didn't matter if he kept his shoes (tennis shoes) on. A child's growth should not be taken as a asi-asi procedure. Such a simple, proper thing is demanded. Worst experience I've ever had. Staff is friendly and helpful but Doctor is rude, mean and very inconsiderate! He took my worries as a mother as me being an idiot and was a hair away of calling me stupid for asking questions and being concerned about my daughters health. Very pleased with Dr. Q and staff. Verry flexible with appointment times as well as next day appointments. I always leave with clear understanding of my child's health in annual or sick check ups. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I took my newborn to Dr. Q and felt he performed a detailed assessment on my son. Being a registered nurse and working with many doctors I was actually referred to him by my other fellow nurses who had nothing but good things to say about him! Being an RN I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Quintanilla and his staff. The office staff are personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Quintanilla is great! He takes time with my son, answers questions and puts my mind at ease. I highly recommend him.

Dr Art & staff are GREAT!! Both very professional, caring & attentive. Girls in the office always make it an ease for me to schedule an appointment. I love that the office has a side for a well & a side for a sick patient. I'm very happy to remain in this practice.

Dear all mothers be aware that this Doctor is the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. So rude and does not let you even finish your sentence about the problem your babies may have!!!Consider all these negative comments seriously and dont rely on the 4 stars reviews he has on google as I mistakenly did .

We recently had to change doctors because of our insurance. I was sad to leave one we had loved for 3 yrs but today I was completely won over. After finishing my 5 month old's checkup, as he was about to leave the room he stopped and asked my 3 year old if she wanted him to give her baby doll a checkup. He spent another few minutes going thru almost everything he did on the real baby. What a thoughtful gesture! Visits have been quick, efficient, with many resources available online.

As first time patients you at least expect the doctor to identify himself. He walked inn and just looked at his chart not even looking up to acknowledge us. He was rude and short. He must of spent 2 or 3 min with us and then he started to pack his folder, i asked a question and he responded as he was walking out the door in the most snark and condescending way. It was surreal and seemed like he was racing to see the next patient. Such shame to see someone like this in the pediatrics profession

His a great Dr. His very knowledgeable, smart, and he listens to you and doesn't judge your thoughts. When I told him I wanted to spread my vaccination He let me with out any hesitation he said if you feel comfortable doing that then it give me peace of mind that you feel safe. You also dont wait forever to be seen. I like him because you can tell he cares about his patients his quiet at first but he cares which you don't see in that in many doctors now and days and i meet alot of Doctors. He also created a Website that I love he makes it simple for us mother there is an easy to read outlines for our concerns that puts us at ease He also has a diet direction for infants what to start them with each month which I love. I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Quintanilla nor his staff. Both Dr. Quintanilla and the staff are very friendly, caring, and efficient. Dr has always answered any questions I've had as well put my mind at ease when I've had a concern or doubt about my child's health. He is an excellent physician with a superb staff. He is a thurough, professional, pediatrician who leaves nothing to chance. our experience with him has been wonderful and he has taken care of both my children since birth and they are healthy and thriving. He answers all of our questions and we get same day appointments as needed. I highly recommend him.
