Dr. Arturo Delfin Monta

Originally Dr Monta seemed like a caring and concerned doctor dealing with my daughter, who has a host of problems some from covid 19, some existing. After seeing him twice in office and again twice in the hospital setting he was great, attentive and looking like a Dr who honestly cared about his patient. That was until a phone call to him to ask about a different antibiotic resulted in him being dismissive and unconcerned, going as far as saying “ see another dr or go to the er, you are too complicated”. Really poor behavior from a professional.

Recently my Mother contracted Covid-19 and was hospitalized. Dr. Monta was her treating physician. I initially reached out to Dr. Monta's office to speak with him during this trying period to ask some pertinent questions concerning my Mother's case. He failed to return any of my calls and fortunately I was able to reach him after my third attempt. It was a short conversation however, at the time I was content for the moment. I respect his time and schedule and only requested one daily phone call to get status updates concerning my Mother's progress. He agreed however, NEGLECTED to ever contact me,...again. Once again I got fortunate and he showed up at her hospital room when I was on the phone with her. I asked my Mother to let me please speak with him cause I needed to speak with a professional about her current status and pending aftercare plan. She complied. Dr. Monta was dismissive, rude and pompous. He talked over me and displayed NO compassion, respect, empathy or interest in regards to my questions or concerns. He was a discredit to his profession and a travesty to the title Doctor. I wouldn't recommend this individual to anyone. If you love yourself, family member or friend avoid Dr. Monta at all cost. He's an embarrassment to the profession.
