Very very rude Doctor. he is just for minting money, front desk not cooperative as well. He is rushing all the time, looks like he has no time to listen but just to come in, write prescription and show you door. I would not recommend him to anyone.

My visit with Dr Lim went very well. He was sensitive and asked me questions and answered my questions. He had medications for me to try I recommend Dr. Lim highly. Thank you.

Love Dr. Lim. Quick, to the point, funny. Enjoy talking to him. I had my vasectomy done last week and it was relatively painless. You can tell he really knows his stuff. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lim handled my complicated kidney stone case perfectly. He is brilliant and I’m so happy with the outcome. He was professional, kind, and caring in a very difficult situation.

I recently was treated by Dr. Lim for prostate issues. I can say that my issues are now under control thanks to his treatment. Instead of treating me with expensive methods, he simply did a prostate massage. Even though this was painful, he said it would be, the procedure worked great. If you are looking for a congenial, caring individual, look as far away from this doctor as possible. NO patience. Doesn’t give you the time of day. 0 bedside manners. Definitely has a superiority complex. He needs knocked down and brought back down to earth.

Amazing, DR.LIM is always been upfront and all around an amazing urologist would not go anywhere else

No nonsense, straight to the point, very knowledgeable doctor. Changed Urologists and was VERY happy after our first consultation. He performed the surgery and gave me more info in 5 minutes than the previous doctor did in 6 years and 8 procedures.

Saw Dr. Lim after over a decade of groin pain. Would have random episodes of 10-15min pain, 2-3 times a year, for the last 12 years. Saw numerous doctors, physical therapists, and urologists. He is the only one who knew what to do and was able to help. After one quick non-surgical procedure, I felt better. Lower back pain was my main secondary issue, and it turns out all of my issues were/are related to an inflamed/enlarged prostate. Currently on a one-month dose of medication and hope that I continue to get better. If I end up experiencing those issues again, I know that he is the right man for the job. Worse urologist I have ever seen. He talked about another patients "issues" right in front of my husband and I, complaining that the man only wanted more of a certain personal prescription. I was horrified walking out to the waiting room and seeing this patient and his wife sitting there. His bedside manner was crude. Even though my kidney stone was tiny, less than 1 mm, he wanted to go in and remove it right then. It was not blocking and it was not a danger of blocking. My pain was minimal. But he still excepted to go right in and get it. I had to bring a copy of my CT scan from the hospital and to read it he had to use his office computer. So he took my husband and I in there and loaded it up. while it was loading he went through a couple things on his desk. He proceeded to talk about another patient and then called in a passing nurse to call this patient and tell him a couple of personal things about an issue he was having. Very unprofessional! I never saw him again.

Dr. Lim is an excellent surgeon and fixed my problem quickly. He doesn’t make patients come back over and over to milk the insurance. He removed my stone and I was able to recover without complications. Excellent physician

I thought Dr. Lim was amazing. Sure, he's direct and to the point, but that's something I appreciate. He's extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job putting thing in terms anyone could understand. I think the appointment wasn't rushed, but it was efficient and quick. I have to go back for a procedure and I'm confident Dr. Lim is the one to do it. I will say my only complaint is that the office couldn't handle a digital insurance card, which is the only way my insurance cards come. She said I needed to print it and bring it next time, which defeats the whole purpose of a digital insurance card. Hopefully they'll find a way to move into modern times when it comes to stuff like that. This is the only office that's had issues with it.

I hope my visit with Dr. Lim was just an abnormal day. He did not read any of my charts, left after coming in for 5 minutes to then go and read the chart. Trying to figure out reasons for pain and discomfort, I was told he can't anything by him yelling "What do you want me to do!?" Was told I am not telling the truth after trying to explain past kidney procedures, all of which are in my chart that he said he did not like to read. He did not like to read other doctors notes... More issues occurred in the appointment including using vulgar language. I am in shock that this was a doctor and hoping that he was just having a bad day. Love Dr Lim great bedside manner. Attentive and listened to concerns. Also he’s cool and witty. Which breaks the ice.

I think the world of Dr Lim hated when he left Lancaster SC but sure it was for a better hospital to work in. He is one of the best urologist around. He is blunt when he speaks but good at what he does! You have a kidney stone he don't make you wait around to get it out! He gets help immediately! That's my kind of Dr!

Do not use this doctor if you want personalized professional care! Dr Limm performed surgery which had some complications with additional bleeding. Although you would hope all would be ok after surgery, the doctors after care and concerns were non existent! Even as swelling and pain becoming excruciating!! Another doctor opinion/diagnosis sought with additional surgery required. Hematoma had formed due to lack of follow up from bleeding, blood clots and severe infection. As a male, how would you react to waking up after surgery with no penis or testicles???! My son was that close to these results due to amount of infection spreading. Dr Limm had told him to take Motrin for swelling and showed no care for him after surgery . Many attempts by family to get this dr to do something! Thank God for the second dr who immediately reacted with care!! I can’t even give him one star but was forced to in order for review to publish!!!

After going to the ER in Pineville, Dr. Lim diagnosed and did a procedure to remove kidney stones in both my kidneys. He inserted stints and explained calmly and clearly my condition and how he persevered to reach my stubborn and embedded stones. He is easy to talk to and knows his stuff.

Excellent. When you are tired of getting the run around from other doctors, go see Dr. Lim. He'll fix you. He gives you detailed explanations in a language anyone can understand.

This reckless Doc was almost about to kill my husband !! We went there with high hopes due to my Husband's Prostatitis. Urologists are supposed to massage the prostrate very Gently especially when it is inflamed already. But Husband was almost Pain Free after a lot of Herbal Treatments and Diet changes. But we still made this trip to this Doc to make sure everything was ok- he Squeezed/Pinched the already delicate Gland so hard my husband began to cry as if he was being "Deliberately" Tortured !!Then the Doc also had the nerve to say "Hope u do not Pass Out" - He could have had a heart attack or something bad !! I just hd a feeling this guy was Sadistic !! He made my Husband's Prostatitis worse !! Wondering if there is a way to sue this guy !! Did anyone else have any similar experience..? I had seen several urologist and had issues with them. Dr Lim was great and I have been very happy with him.

This doctor was excellent and very straightforward. He fixed my prostatits within just 2 visits after getting treated with just antibiotics for several months by other urologists. It hurt but it worked. Done.

Some people might think Dr. Lim is arrogant - I disagree - he is very confident and that is what I like about him. He does see a lot of patients but always takes the time to review my history and become "reacquainted" with my story.

I was going to a specialist for 8 months and he couldn’t fix my problem. I got to Doctor Lim for one visit and he was able to find and fix my problem. He is the best Doctor I have seen.

I agree with the other one star rating for this Urologist. We came with my uncle for his stone removal surgery. I have had extensive kidney and urerter surgery so when I spoke to this doctor after my uncle's surgery he said we did not expect the kidney stone to be this big. It was 2 months ago when Dr. Kim did the last X-ray of this kidney stone in the office. That is how long my uncle got the run around before they finally got this surgery scheduled. Of course it wad big. In the office it was 2 1/2 inches at that time. Dr. Kim told my uncle thst he would be able to grind this 3 inch stone down. I at least thought that when the doctor saw how big it wad he would decide to open him up to take it out. No he didn't. He told me when he started to grind it down it exploded and parts of it went into the chambers of the kidney it was all I could do to not scream. We are sitting in the waiting room right now and my uncle is in recovery. I am hoping that he is not in pain. I will be advising my uncle to see my wonderful urologist, Dr. Kang in Monroe at Urology Specialists of the Carolinas. I agree with the other one star rating for this Urologist. I'm very pleased and satisfied with the treatment that i received from Dr. Lim. He treated me and my wife with respect and performed TURP to relieve my BPH symptoms. He is a caring professional who acts with a sense of urgency!

Dr. Lim was the Urologist who showed up at the CHMS-Pineville early Sunday morning when I had an emergency procedure to insert a catheter due to UTI and BPH. He ended up taking me to the OR to do the procedure after 3 repeated failed attempts by ER nurses. Four days later, he performed a TURP to open up my Prostate. I couldn't be more happier and satisfied with the results. He is a dedicated professional who treated me with a sense of urgency. Thank you Dr. Lim.

Dr. Lim and his team were amazing. I ended up being diagnosed with Lymphoma, but before that they were critical in getting me to the right tests and doctors. They did everything with a sense of urgency, care and clarity. I was very happy with the entire team and would definitely go back to them for any sort of urology care. Very direct and down to earth Doctor. Made extra effort to schedule procedure to remove kidney stone as quickly as possible (same day) when he determined I wanted to be aggressive in its removal. Went to additional effort to remove stone intact in order to minimize recovery time, discomfort and additional office visits. Also have impressive souvenir now... not inside my body. Man's got style.
