I’ve been a patient at Emerge-Orthro since 2012. I’ve experienced great health successes due to the valuable knowledge and caring support of the medical staff, physical therapists, and the the support staff. The facility is always immaculate and welcoming! The support staff seems to recognize you by name, willing to assist you with any concerns or needs; and is always greeting you with a smile. Dr. Kalman is my medical physician. He’s very much attuned to my overall health history and medications. He actively listens to all of my concerns and tries to explain or find a solution as needed. He’s willing to communicate with my other health care providers in order to provide the best medical service I could ask for. This is why I choose Dr. Kalman and Emerge-Ortho as my primary orthopedic care! I’ve been a patient at Emerge-Orthro since 2012. Kind, thorough, personable. It was really nice to see that he truly cares about his patients. He went above and beyond for me to make sure I had accurate test results for my injury.

I can not recommend getting any service from Arthur Kalman, DO at Emergeortho in Durham NC . He performed a nerve study and told me he would have the report prepared and sent to my Primary Doctor before I left the parking lot and it still, two days later, has not been prepared. I am in a level 8 pain and will be unable for my Primary Doctor to schedule treatment until 2021. It is amazing what a review will accomplish. My problem has been resolved and my primary doctor has my report . Thank you Dr. Kalman and the staff of Emergeortho. I’ll make this short and to the point! Dr. Kalman is the very best doctor I have ever had the experience of having as my doctor! No matter how hard I might try I can’t think of even one bad thing to say about Dr. Kalman! I trust him fully and completely as my doctor and friend. He is a very brilliant young man and is the only doctor that I have ever had complete trust in for all of the health problems I have with my osteoarthritis and other problems. Also, being a senior citizen with years of these medical problems he has never failed to be completely honest and respectful to me, when so many other doctors seem not to care whatsoever about these things! Too many doctors these days seem not to want or even try to care or feel that senior care is as important as as younger patient’s simply because of our age! The whole staff is pleasant and easy to work with it’s always clean and comfortable, dr. Kalman is easy to talk to and seems to be concerned about my over all health and very knowledgeable

My mother came in for a Hip injection. Everyone was so nice!! They practiced Social Distancing and made us feel safe. Considering the circumstances, my mother was very comfortable and didn’t experience any problems with the screening and appointment. We got in and out within a timely manner.

I like Dr Kalman. Always pleasant, professional. This time little extra kind due to possible find on MRI. & a previous condition of mine. Ordering CT for further investigation. Appreciate him & his staff.

Scheduled for cortisone injection of my hip for 4:15 pm. Was a little concerned when not called back until 4:25. Pleasantly surprised when I was out of there before 5pm. The staff, especially dr. Kallman, were very professional and proficient. My hip already feels better

Dr Kalman has been amazing. Ive been dealing with very complicated orthopedic issues, and Dr K has helped me every step of the way. I've had multiple surgeries and various orthopedic complications along the way, and Dr K has come up with various plans to help me overcome very difficult pain management challenges, has gone above and beyond to ensure I am able to continue some normalcy during these difficult times, and continue to be effective at work throughout the process. I highly recommend Dr K, and can't thank him and the support team enough for all of their help.

I met Dr Kalman 2 yrs ago after my long time pain management Dr retired. I was apprehensive given that chronic pain management has alot to do with the relationship between Dr and patient and can take a while to establish. Dr Kallman has proven to be a highly knowledgeable physician, one who doesn't just write scripts, but uses every option to get to the proper treatment for my diagnosis. I've had several ESI in my lumber spine given by Dr Kalman. His kind and caring manner helped me to relax during the proceedure. I'm very grateful that Dr Kalman came to serve patients at Emerge Orthopedics.

Dr. Kalman It’s always willing to listen to all of my concerns. He answers all my questions to my complete satisfaction. He is very courteous and professional.

Outstanding experience with Dr Kalman at Emergortho. Results very good with procedure.

They r very caring and good doctors and assistants to the doctors dr petty is an excellent doctor and very caring and he took very good care of me. Dr kalman is a very good doctor he talks me and listen to what I have to say in order to help me and he has been good to me. Joseph the assistant of dr petty is a wonderful caring pa and I wish him the best in whatever he does. I would like to thank everyone for their care of me. Dr Kalman had an excellent bedside manner, he told me everything he was doing step by step. Awesome doctor.

Every time I visit, I'm treated with respect and interest. Dr. Kalman was informative and personable. The tech and support staff are very nice. And the receptionist are engaging and efficient.

I think Dr Kalman is an incredible physician and would highly recommend. Great with a needle for spinal injections, kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. I trust and absolutely respect him as a person and doctor.

Dr. Kalman is great. He takes up time with his patients and has good bedside manners. His office hours are very early in the morning which is great if you need to see him before going to work. If you email him he has always responded within 24 hours. He is very concerned about his patients and their well being. Too bad we do not have more doctors like him. I would highly recommend him to other people.

Dr Kalman is awesome...I had terrible back pain ..he was caring and very understanding. Other issues were detected during my visits to Dr Kalman. He was persistent that I immediately take of this issue. Just weeks later I am on my way to recovery and back problems now under control. 5 stars!!

Learned of him from my medical Physician that was leaving the practice at Novant Health and going to Raleigh. The practice after she left refused to work with me as she did so made appt.with Dr. Kalman.

I go to many docs for many different illnesses. Dr. Kalman is tops on my list.

Best post surgery doctor I've ever dealt with. Compassion for his patients and a true understanding of the needs of people in pain. Sad to see him leave the Florida area. He is missed by his staff as well as his patients.
