I am a 62-year-old male who has had a lot of experience with dentists, good and bad. I did not see any reviews of Dr Neema Mehrkhodayandi so here I go. I needed two root canal repairs (a past bad experience). I went into the Gage Endodontics office very spectacle of dentists/endodontics. I meet Dr. Neema Mehrkhodayandi and he patiently answered all my questions and with apprehension I decided he could repair my 1st root canal. He did excellent work (4 roots) and I did not feel anything after the Novocain injection which was not bad because of the lidocaine he used (I Googled the anesthetics). The next week I was comfortable with Dr Neema Mehrkhodayandi that he was going to do the 2nd root canal repair who again did excellent work. 2 weeks later I went into my dentist office (Bloomfield Dental Grp) where he did an x-ray of my teeth and we could see that Dr. Neema did really good work. I had an appointment with Dr. Alexa Martin today. I found her to be totally professional . She explained my procedure fully. She answered any and all of my questions. I felt that she showed kindness and was very concerned for my comfort. I would not hesitate to use her services in the future and would feel quite comfortable referring her to friends and family . Was referred here by a dentist I used to see and let me tell you all this office cares about is money. I had tooth sensitivity for about a month and they scheduled me for 3 unnecessary appointments where they basically did nothing but rack up my insurance bill. When I finally had the procedure done my filling fell out the next week. They had the audacity to charge me out of pocket for $150 more for those unnecessary appointments that did nothing but waste my time. I'm sorting it out with my insurance luckily I have great coverage. I do not recommend this place for anything, not unless you feel like wasting time and money. With state of the art 3D imaging equipment Dr. Gage was able to determine that I only needed one root canal and not two (like I was told somewhere else). Besides that the newness of the office and pleasant office staff made my experience there top notch - would definitely recommend

Horrible there!!! They never called & checked on me after a major procedure & Dr. Gage was very Arrogant & not caring at all for me & the pain I was in. He's all about the money $$$ & could care a less about the patient!!!!! BEWARE when they tell you that you are paid in full for your service too because months later they will try & bill you for more, even if it is just a couple of dollars (very petty). Please know your insurance well & what your insurance coverages are & don't let this dental office take your hard earned money$$$!!!! I would suggest find a caring dentist & let him get the money$$$ from you are your insurance for doing a good & caring job on your tooth or teeth. This Dentist office is the worst I will never tell anyone to go there!!!!!!!! By the way I went to his Riverside, CA office. Horrible there!!! So happy to find Dr. Gage's Long Beach office. I came to him for a root canal over 10 years ago in Tustin and remembered his professional and outstanding work. Our son needed a second opinion on whether or not a root canal was needed. He was very thorough and patiently explained the testing he performed. We are in good hands with Dr. Gage and benefit from his many years of experience. We will take the time to drive a further distance for this high quality of care.
