Got to his office at 10:45 for an 11am appointment it’s now 11:45 and the last person in the waiting room if I’m ever seen I’ll hear him out but I think it would be smart to find another Doctor

Bedside communication was not up to par. I had a reverse rotator cup surgery and now I can’t lift my arm. Any help would be appreciated including a great lawyer.

Dr. Black was very direct, which I like. Unfortunately he did a terrible job on my surgery leaving me with a massive hole in my upper arm, limited use of digits 1-4 in both hands and no movement in digits 1 & 2 in my right hand. His line was I did something wrong - which I vehemently denied. Then he accepted responsibility stating "I will take the heat for your arm" and "about 10% of these procedures fail". Had he told me part two when I first went to him I would have chosen a different surgeon. On my six week follow up visit I tried to discuss these issues with him but he walked out of the examination room leaving me with a nurse.

My experience with Dr. Black has been phenomenal. I can't speak highly enough of his treatment. My ACL surgical experience was as good as can be expected for such things but my results and recovery have surpassed anything I could have hoped for. Very glad I found Dr. Black.

Great experience with Dr. Black, NP Kelly and entire staff. I highly recommend the entire program. PWD in Bay St. Louis I would recommend Memorial provide more handicapped parking; I had to limp in from the back 40 on my painful knee for which I was there for treatment.

My visit with Dr Black went very well. He took the time to explain my options and we discussed the procedure he recommended in depth. I will be going in for a total shoulder replacement and I am expecting great results. He treated me as a person and not a number during my visit and made sure he answered all of my questions. I cannot understand why someone would give him a bad rating.

Efficient, knowledgeable and explains exactly what he is going to do. He is no nonsense and direct. Personally I really like that approach. His office is well staffed and it runs with efficiency demonstrating warmth and caring.

Never saw the doctor.. Just his NP or PA. Was not open to hearing what I said and send disinterested in anything except his thoughts. I've been in the medical field 38 years and do not agree with the terms plan if sending me for ESI shots in another part of my body when all my tests show a tear in the past I went to see them for. I will not go back.

Excellent care from the doctor ALL the way down to the receptionist. Highly recommend.

Dr Black has poor bed side manners. I informed him I was having excruciating pain and he told me he did not believe me and called me a liar. I know my body and pain level and for him to make me feel it was in my mind is ludicrous. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. Find another Dr that actually believes what you say. The front desk ladies are caring and friendly but that's all he has going for him. I hate I have to give any stars for him, it's not deserved.

Did a Great job on my shoulder honest and caring staff too

I've been a patient of Dr Black since 2008. He has scoped both of my knees and done a total right knee replacement. I have recommended him to all my friends that have had orthopedic issues. Dr Black and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Office wait times are usually less than 20 minutes. More importantly is that Dr Black understands the importance rehab and giving his patients time to recover and not rushing patients back to work. Dr Black and his staff are the best!!!!

Did such a horrible job on my knee replacement that i has to have it totally redone 3 months later by another Dr .I actually had a broken bone in my leg that he missed and did not even need a knee replacement..Get a 2nd opinion with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
