Dr. Arth Manoj Patel

Hand doctors aren't easy to find. Dr. Patel treats many conditions, but has really helped treating my trigger thumb as well as arthritis at the base of the thumb. He takes time all the time necessary to explain conditions as well as treatment options. He's wonderful.

Dr. Patel is a thoughtful, good communicator who uses diagnostic tools to identify and treat patients in a conservative, but appropriate manner. He explains the reason a patient is exhibiting symptoms and then works with the patient to design and execute an appropriate plan of care.

Dr Patel is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. I tend to ask numerous questions and he was patient and clear with his explanations. That, along with his demeanor put me at ease.

As a 73 year-old male Dr.Patel placed me on a non-surgical program that alleviated my pain in walking. .

I saw Dr Patel after a hard fall that affected my shoulder and hip. He was so kind and reassuring and made me feel like I was his only patient. Best of all I’m making great progress! I would highly recommend him!

Went to Dr. Patel for arm and elbow pain, he diagnosed me with Tennis elbow provided a brace in the office and I had a fast recovery. Dr Patel was kind, attentive and responsive to my injury and questions.

I went to Dr. Patel with chronic lasting back pain and was looking for options to get rid of it. I thought it would have to surgery but he recommended a great physical therapist who got rid of it. I wasn’t getting straight answers from any other doctors but he finally gave me the advise I needed.

Dr Patel is everything you could want in a doctor specializing in sports medicine. As a world class athlete (1982 - 2.11.36 marathon / 3rd in NY Marathon; 2022 - 1:05.54 10 mile/ age 66) I require the best standard of care to keep me healthy and competitive. I am grateful that Dr Patel is capable of addressing all of my injury concerns as and when needed.

Luckily for me PSJC had an immediate opening with their newest member Dr. Arth Patel when I twisted my knee and was in pain. He patiently listened to me, explained what steps/actions we should take and addressed all my questions patiently until I was fully satisfied. A few days later, my symptoms worsened and I called the office who tried to schedule me several days out but when I asked them to inform Dr. Patel he immediately squeezed me in that same afternoon and relieved my pain with cortisone a shot. I see in him a knowledgeable, patient listener, compassionate and effective doctor. I’ve been a patient of PSJC for years and I am glad to say I found my newest favorite psychiatrist!

I was having severe pain in my left shoulder and left hip, and Dr. Patel was able to diagnosis me in one visit, and reassure me that with a cortisone shot I will be feeling no pain. This doctor was kind, knowledgeable and really listened to what I had to tell him. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel as well as the entire staff at Princeton Spine & Joint.

Dr Patel helped us navigate the uncertainty of our teenager's back pain and guided us through the prescribed treatment and MRI. He listened attentively to our questions and concerns and made sure we understood and were comfortable with everything. Dr. Patel is one of a kind Doctor. He has compassion for his patients, he never rushes you out of the room, he will tell you your diagnosis in terms you understand. Let me tell you a little story. Saw Dr. Patel Last year first time, excruciating knee and back pain. called around couldn't get an emergency appt anywhere. My ins. company recommended NYP Dr Patel was the Dr that was in that day. He sat with me realizing something else was going on with me besides the pain, when I told him about my mom falling and breaking her neck in 4 different places in FL that I have a ticket the following day to visit. He did everything he possible could to get me out of pain. Needless to say this was the last time I saw my mom alive... This year for my follow up visit, the first thing he said when he walked in was how is your mom... he remembered or took really good notes but to me that is a GREAT doctor. I am so grateful to have found such an awesome dr. He is going to make a name for himself.

I’ve been taking both my kids to Dr. Patel for almost a year. In all instances he’s taken his time to thoroughly explain the situations. He’s been very good in listening to my concerns when it came down to their recovery. We have followed his instructions for both my kids and they are currently still doing sports.
