Not enjoyable or pleasant at all. The doctor was rude and insulted my features... The staff, especially the consultants, do not provide clear explanations and only hurried the payment fees. Do not come here, especially for surgeries concerning the face.

Greedy and negligent doctor. Chose to do an “overkill” surgery on a minor (he writes the procedure is “overkill” on his website after scarring my face…). Then after the procedure goes wrong, with a jarring scar, Arthur Yu has the gall to refer me to someone who may or may not be able to fix his mistakes. I will be not be trusting the referral of someone who was careless and lazy in his work. Not only that, he only referred me because he said he would not be able to fix the mistakes he made (scar, obvious unevenness…). That made me regret going here. Why recommend a surgery with a high risk of failure? He is an incredibly bad doctor, and his “years of experience” only add up to less-than-mediocre and scarring techniques. Do not come here and spend three times the amount for shabby procedures that ends up requiring “fixing”. It’s not hard to tell that his high-rated reviews are suspicious and not very useful when one calls him a “dermatologist”. I thought he was a plastic surgeon?

Dr. Yu called my eyes "fat sausages". Firstly, that is no way to speak to a patient, especially when the doctor himself is not pleasing to look at. Not only that, he has a wife 16 years younger than him, which speaks volumes about the type of person this man is...

Katherian Auyang (calls herself Kat) is the worst nurse (I do not even know if she has the credentials) there. It's funny how she doesn't even say she works at Premier on her Linkedin (says a lot about her and what she thinks of her job). Do not ask for her help or have her be the doctor's "notetaker." Did not take note of anything I asked for and even made a mistake about what I specified for the procedure. She only feigns ignorance, says to not bother her on her days off (I msged her on a weekday), cries (even though I should be the one crying), and does not apologize for what she did wrong (saying she had covid). If they have their so-called "Ethics Committee" (which is so fake tbh), Katherian Auyang is not part of it. She is absolutely negligent in her duties and so careless. Both this woman and Dr. Yu are terrible people. Neither of them apologized for what they did even though they knew what they did wrong. Art Yu even told an employee that he could not apologize or he would lose his business of 20 years because I could sue him. This employee told me about it and I was furious. The doctor says this mistake was 1 in 10,000 and that's why it wasn't his fault! But in reality, he knows it was wrong and just didn't want to lose his job.

I get angry to this day thinking about his manners towards me. He showed a presentation to me AFTER the surgery, which explained his procedure, showed pictures of scar progression, and showed that he thought tapered eyelids are the same as parallel eyelids. I asked him why he didn't show a presentation to me BEFORE the surgery. You know what he said? He said "I already know these things." Thank you for saying I know how to perform cosmetic surgery and saying that I can read your mind and know that you think all eyelid shapes are the same. He is a man who says no other doctor is better than him but can say that a patient is just as knowledgable as him in cosmetic surgery. Such a sorry excuse of a doctor.

Went to another surgeon for fixing Art Yu’s mistakes and they said that the doctor used very old fashioned methods on me. Another patient on Yelp also had a similar experience. Very disappointing as this 2022 and Art Yu is still stuck with 1970 techniques.

Art Yu's motto is that his technique is not "cookie-cutter". He's right, it's even worse than that. Rather than following what a person wants, he chooses to do whatever he thinks will look good. But. What he likes are Caucasian features. Sadly, as an Asian person who thought another Asian would know Asian aesthetics, I was unfortunate enough to have chosen Art Yu as my surgeon. After the surgery, I asked why he didn't at least explain to me how he was going to proceed/what he was going to do *before* the actual procedure. It's so sad. If he had, I could have said "No thank you and left." It's that simple. But since he was a greedy doctor suffering from the aftermath of Covid, he wanted all the money he could grab. He couldn't answer my question. He said, "It's too late, I'll answer it next time." I never went back to get an answer because 1) he would probably never be able to give a satisfactory answer and 2) he made a horrible mistake and couldn't come up with an excuse to cover up so he avoided the question. His unrelenting pride was disappointing. My whole experience there was extremely unprofessional, frustrating, and mentally distressing. Do not go there (Premier Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa) and add to your regrets.

Unethical person who only knows how to lie. Arthur Yajing Yu is a disgusting person inside and out. Overestimates himself when his skills are not good. Rushes patients whenever he feels like it. Very money oriented and greedy doctor.

Likes to overpromise and overexaggerate his skills. IMO, the price of his surgeries are too much for the bad quality of his skills. I feel scammed, needed to do revisions for the mistakes made on the first surgery. Tired of it all. Hope I never see his face ever again or hear his voice ever again. Scared of him.

Premier Cosmetic is a great one-stop-shop which I personally am grateful for. They do all services well and they also provide a lot of services from non-surgical to surgical to facials, lasers, and injections. I've done the PRP Facial, I do CoolSculpting as well as botox. Staff is great and the Dr. is very honest and great too!
