Dr B was great the first visit. The second visit for recheck, he told me I would need to get used to the macular degeneration. I took Him at his word, and when my vision had changed I just toughed it out until I really got worse. My wife called the office concerned, and they had us come right in. The dry macular degeneration had gone to wet. Not having dealt with this before, I didnt know what to expect. I saw dr Nelson on an emergency visit and he did injections. My second emergency visit was with dr Nelson as well. Given that he had treated me twice, and my confidence in dr B was deflated, I asked to switch to Dr Nelson. He said he would treat me- but something occurred from that time to my next visit because the office manager called on the morning of my follow up visit to tell me I couldnt see Dr Nelson. My wife was told Dr Nelson was a busy man, and he would not call us back after his clinical visits for any reason. Judy Bell, the office manager was very rude to my wife. Im deaf and I could hear her yell through the phone, and my wife retaliated with the “b” word. Not normal behavior for my wife. Stay away, its not worth the battle of being told who you can and cannot see when youre paying the bill.

I really like and trust him.

I have been going to him over three years. I highly recommend him.

Very professional, highly knowledgeable, great with patients. Surgery to repair Macular Hole was complete success.
