Arpad Sandor Fejos

I was told or suggest by the other ortho doctor in his office, to get a nerve test by him. The test started out good, when the technician was doing the test, then Dr. Fejos comes in to do the last test and he walks in with no conversation or questions, stick something in my shoulder and I said Ouch and then he was done, shortly after this test. I now have no feeling in my thumb and index finger and when I told him that this happened after his test. He wouldn't give me an answer or acknowledge that he cause the damage. Also received a shot in the back by him and it didn't work or do anything, but got charge almost $300 out of pocket for this shot that didn't help anything. These doctors at Middlesex Ortho in my opinion are not the best. Have a torn rotator cuff and are not able to lift my right arm over my head and it's been over a year of physical therapy they keep telling me to give it time with no other explanation.

Dr. Fejos and Kevin, his APRN, are two empathetic and thorough care providers. I first met Dr. Fejos when he ran a comprehensive pain and spine center at Bristol Hospital. That was back in 2010, when I was 49 years old and living with chronic lower back pain, stemming from a birth defect and a crude, 3.5 hour surgery in 1976, chiseling excess bone off multiple vertebrae, and not showing any signs of hip bone or cadaver bone fusion in an MRI, missing one of my discs. That’s the best of how I understand the mess in my lower back. I will be 62 this year and continue to work in a physically challenging job, thanks to the core strength I was able to build under Dr. Fejos’ care. I can’t thank him enough. Fijos is arrogant and incompetent. I had the single worst experience ever with him.

I’ve seen Dr Fejos about 5 times in the last 6-7months. I find him to be professional & kind.

Dr. Fejos, hmmm leaves some bedside manner to be desired. Not a bad doctor, but has that I am better than you attitude. Does not think before he speaks. Can be kind of pretentious. Not a bad doctor like I said.

Dr. Fejos was extremely rude and cold. He has very rough with the spinal injection I had to have. I left in tears and will never ever go back there again!! Terrible experience!

Can you say, "Arrogantly" and "Rude" If you like being treated that way then by all means Dr. Fejos is the doctor for you! Absolutely love Dr. Kuhn in this practice. But if I need orthopedic care again it won't be with this group. Bottom line health care is a business and if you want your customers to be happy treat them respectfully and with some compassion. I had a car accident 7 months ago causing me pain to this day in my neck and shoulders. Yes, I do have an attorney for my car accident, however that has nothing to do with whether or not my pain is real. I had an MRI done which showed 3 mild disc bulges. He said they were nothing because they weren’t life threatening. He told me that screening and X-rays were just a way to build my case which is not true. He made it seem like I didn’t have anything wrong with me and I was only there to build my case and get more money. I HAVE REAL PAIN and I paid for my appointment with him. He examined my neck and he was rough he caused more pain on top of the pain I already had. I got no physical therapy nothing just stretched that I found on YouTube. Being a doctor is about helping and serving people. He’s getting paid either way whether he helps his patients or not but he should really BE a doctor that’s what he’s there for and that’s what patients pay for. Waste of time, gas and money.

If I could give 0 stars I would. He was quick like my appointment was probably 3 minutes and never asked me any questions. I felt like he could care less about my concerns or pain.

I truly don’t understand any of the poor reviews on Dr. Fejos. He has done two pain management procedures on me and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. He is very caring, and considerate and I would definitely recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Fejos for pain management treatments on my back problems and I have found him to be competent, professional and pleasant. I don’t understand any of the bad reviews from other people, he certainly never gives a treatment without a pain numbing shot first or combined with the other medication. I have always had a good experience each time I had a treatment. I would definitely recommend him and Orthopedic Associates. Sent from my iPad

This Dr. is hands down the most arrogant dr. I have ever met. He was very disrespectful the whole entire time. He pretty much made fun of me the whole entire time. I went in to see him after being in a car accident a few blocks from the hospital after being discharged from the hospital from having a newborn. He made several disrespectful comments. overall if your thinking about seing him as a doctor. DONT!!!!!! I can't believe they allow him to practice in that office after all his bad reviews. I will never ever go back to Dr. Fejo again. I went to him a number of times expierencing low back pain and he NEVER examined me. He sits across the room and makes assumptions in a dismissive condescending tone. Unless he’s talking about himself the meeting is less than 5 minutes. I've never had such a rude, condescending, patronizing doctor like him before. He walked in like he didn't want to be there and I instantly got a bad vibe. He preceded to ask me questions without looking at my face, cut me off mid sentence and it honestly felt like an interrogation. He asked me about my insurance and he laughed and told me good luck. He honestly has to be one of the most disrespectful and arrogant doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. Last time I saw him, was when I had to take my grandmother to one of his appointment for her severe back problem, when I went in along with my grandmother I tried to explain to him how she has felt and how much time I had to take her to the hospital. Dr. Fejos is without a shadow of a doubt one of the worst Dr's I have ever had to deal with. Lacks bed side manners, mocks his patients, very dismissive about anything you attempt to communicate to him, but that is if you don’t get immediately cut off!! I was under the impression that I would get an assessment of my injuries, go over things and form a treatment plan. Not at all. In the matter of 4 mins I was told to see the front desk to discuss the new medications he prescribed, because they will have that information for me. He then got very bothered when I asked about my current PT. He was requesting an MRI for my Cervical & Lumbar spine. All I wanted to know is if I needed to hold off until the new MRI was done or continue. I only wanted direction and clarification and all I got was a dramatic sigh and told to do whatever I wanted!? I asked what did he recommend, he then sighed dramatically throwing his hands in the air and then shrugging telling me to just hold off on the PT then. Saw Dr. Fejos today for my first visit and would highly recommend him. He was very pleasant and spent time with me going over my symptoms and prior treatments. He explained everything that he wanted to do and made sure all of my questions were answered before I was released. Very pleasant doctor to work with.

Been seeing Dr. Fejos for over a decade and while I can see why some would be put off by his speed keep in mind how many patients he's seeing. I've found him to be very informative and highly effective in my treatment. He won't waste your time sugar coating things or talking nonsense. If it doesn't pertain to your ailment or has no realistic shot at helping you he won't give it much thought, maybe that bothers some but for me I appreciate that. Both Frank and I were seen by Dr. Fejos with good results. I had a very painful pinched nerve that responded well to my injection. Frank had a similar experience with his hip. Dr. Fejos is very careful to have patients prepare carefully for their injections and explains his process. Sometimes we wish pain would just go away but it doesn't always work that way.

I saw Dr. Fejos and could not believe how rude he was. He just did not care. He barely touched me he gave me an injection in my spine and the nurse had to help me on to the table while he just stood there. Incredible pain. When it got so bad that I went and saw a real doctor he did an MRI an found that I had a bone spur sticking into the sciatic nerve due to a fall. he immediately put me into the hospital, and operated a few hours later. No more pain! With Dr? Fijos, I still would be suffering.

I saw Dr. Fejos in October 2017. I have to admit after ready the reviews and speaking with a few people, I was actually nervous to see him! Not many good things were said. But I would give him a chance and form my own opinion. Well I’m glad I went!! Not one issue to speak of! Him and I got along great and he and my questions and was so very pleasant. Went back on November 9th to get my steroid injection in my back. All went fantastic!!! I don’t understand what people are talking about!

Dr. Fejos has one of the worst bed side manners in a Doctor I have ever worked with. He is rude, has no respect for his patients, and is dismissive about anything you tell him. I saw him for the first time today, and he didn't tell me anything except that I need to go to physical therapy. He mocked me about getting genetic testing done to see if my symptoms are connected to CMT-1A which runs in my family. Told me I need to work on my "flexibility". Not really sure what that has to do with constant back and hip pain, nor did he take the time to explain it. If your looking for a Spine Doctor, I highly recommend you look around. Very rude! Dismissed my concerns/pushed me to therapy. Second time, they told me I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. There was no confirmation call the day before to confirm the time. Despite only being 15 minutes late, they told me I would need to reschedule. Really? I told them I was having numbness in my fingers. Told me I could wait an hour and see a PA in the urgent care but he wasn't going to see me. Terrible service and bedside manner! Find another doctor. I am!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I saw Dr. Fejos this morning. First HE was late for my appointment, and did not apologize (which didn't upset me). He then asked me why I was there, dismissed all my symptoms, and didn't care to really even hear about them. He made me feel as if I was wasting his precious time. He had me lay on the table, pushed on my hips and back (which hurt badly) then told me I need to go to therapy for 6 weeks. I was in and out in 5mins if that, and left in tears from pain.

I don't know what those other people are talking about when they leave negative reviews. I have been treated by Dr. Fejos & found him to be competent, professional & pleasant. I had 2 epidural spinal injections in 1 session & was given local anesthetic. Dr. Fejos never gives epidural injections without local anesthetic. This procedure took less than 10 minutes and there was minimal discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Fejos and Orthopedic Associates of Middletown.

Dr. Fejoes wins the prize for being rude and arrogant. He gave me spinal injections without using any analgesic in the injection so I would have less pain from it. There are much better doctors out there.

He was absolutely horrible and dismissive of questions. He walked out of my appointment- not my first time seeing him - after I told him he had the wrong patient information when the symptoms he said I had made no sense to my issues and had the nerve to challenge me as to my identity. He demeaningly pulled my chart to prove his point condescendingly only to see he was wrong - walked out and screamed from the hallway for me to see his nurse for injection appt. NO APOLOGY - NO CLUE - NO WAY!

Great doctor! Very easy to get over the initial "personality thing" if you work with him over time. He's a skilled, caring, and compassionate doctor. He's also a very busy guy, so please don't be put off by his initial demeanor.

He was very rude. He came in and already thought he knew me. Very disrespectful. I will never reccomend this doctor to anyone. He needs to go back to school for proper patient care. I am a registered nurse and I would never treat my patients the way he does.

His personality is not warm and fuzzy... but I didn't go to there to date him. He did nerve blocking injections after I suffered for 2 months with a serious lower back sprain and after I tried PT for that long.
