Great surgeon. Seems like most of my friends and relatives have had knees done by him. He did a knee for me and now I'm trying to scedule the other and one for my wife. I have many praises for him, but no complaints.
have been doctoring with Dr. Rosenthal for 25+years. 2 knee replacements and 1 shoulder replacement later. .excellent results.. have recommended to many.would not use anyone else!

Dr. R was so nice and zeroed in on my problem immediately. Got relief from pain. I am a nurse so I am super fussy about my care. I don't work at Sauk but he has a good rep with the nurses so I picked him and was very happy.

I had two total knee replacements performed by Dr. Rosenthal in Sauk City Wisconsin. Dr. Rosenthal refused to manage my pain after I left the hospital. I needed to practically beg my family doctor for pain meds. I was, and still am in pain. Because of severe pain following knee surgery,and without adequate pain relief,it was very difficult to move anywhere in my house. I developed a painful bed sore, due to being unable to move following my knee replacement. Doctor Rosenthal was completely unsympathetic to my needs. I would NEVER RECOMMEND him to anyone needing surgery. YOU ARE TOTALLY ON YOUR OWN WITH PAIN MANAGEMENT!!! My recovery has been significantly delayed due to Rosenthal's actions. AVOID THIS DOCTOR LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Before having surgery, ask your doctor how he/she will manage your pain after surgery. Don't suffer like I am!!!
