This woman treats my sister and I have been begging her to find another rheumatologist. She doesn't listen to her her concerns, she doesn't offer any feedback, she does not express any compassion what so ever, and won't ask questions to get to the root of the problem. My wife has had nothing but problems from the staff. They failed to send her needed blood testing orders and will not return calls when she leaves messages. Sent prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and will not return calls from pharmacist. Very rude and nasty when she calls the office.Dr is very polite and professional but, staff is very unprofessional. I waited a couple months to see the doctor. She prescribed a med, and I had undesired side effects. I called the office, and was told by her staff to discontinue. 2 weeks later, the doc leaves me a voicemail asking how Im doing. Apparently the staff never told her I had issues and I had stopped the med. I called office to tell them the doc called and to make sure they tell her I stopped meds. They still never told her. I found another doc. Trying to have them forward my record to the new doc, they send my records to completely the wrong place. I know this because this place called me. In short, I give a lousy rating not directly because of Lumapas, but due to her incompetent staff she keeps employed there. I waited a couple months to see the doctor. Quick response from her in a phone call of new pain arthritic possible condition and with rest and antibiotic I was able to heal. She is a good listener doesn’t push new drugs onto you that are not needed. I appreciate all the complete answers with covid scare around she gave to me also.

I have been a patient of Doctor Lumapas for years. After seeing 4 other rheumatologists, I was so grateful to find her. She’s caring, personable, and companionate. She listens and has truly done all she can to help improve my quality of life. I highly recommend her.

My husband saw Lumapas in July 2019. At that time she gave him a diagnosis and recommended protocol. She said no further appointments were necessary. He called her office in February 2021 to get the name of said diagnosis and was told by staff that because he hadn’t followed up, they couldn’t give that information. No follow up was necessary and what doctor won’t give you your own health record information? He had to make another appointment and when he saw her she ordered more blood tests(does she get a kickback?) and told him she would only contact him if they were positive. The last time she took a month to call back so a person is left wondering. She and her staff are grossly incompetent

I highly recommend Dr. Lumapas. She was very caring, knowledgeable and she took a lot of time with me to answer all my questions.

I have been a patient of Dr Lumapas's for about 4 years now. She has always taken time to explain things to me. I have been in flares and been ill she has always available. I was especially sick during the beginning of Covid and she still called me after hours. We also communicated on My chart, and by virtual visits. Her assistants are always kind and helpful, I have never had a problem getting called back for results or to have my medications faxed in. I have no issues with Dr Lumapas, her staff or offices.

Dr Lumapas listens. You know instantly that she has a sincere concern for your well being and health . She is on top of the challenges that face her patients and i trust her. I am thankful for her.

She skims over half the stuff you tell her . I had to call there 12 days after bloodwork to get results. She messages me the results the next day. I messaged her back and asked so now what? It's that it? I have this and this and no advice at all. Asked her if I could go back on something I had been on b4 for nerve pain and she never even got back to me. So you go there, get blood work, then I guess her job is done.

This doc is reported as being good, but I’ve seen just the opposite. They prescribed a med to which I had side effects and had to stop using. After that I never heard from her again. Im not going back! Supposed to be a professional and they charge a lot of money, but for my money and troubles I got nothing.

I have been seeing her for 10 years. Listens well and tries new things if needed. Cares about your pain. She is very thorough. I think these 1 star reviews are trolls.

Bed side manor was horrible! Talks super fast & doesn’t look at you when talking to you. All she really told me was my parts are rusty & there isn’t much they can do. Exercise!! Well if it did hurt, I would love to go for walks or exercise. Then go to a pool if you can’t walk. Alrighty then. Gave me a script & said I only need to see her once a year. Looking for new doctor.

Dr. Lumapas has been very helpful in treating my RA. She listens to my concerns each time I visit and has prescribed a medication that works for me. She also keeps track of my progress effectively. I have had little wait time in the Hudson office and Ashley has been very nice. I’m very grateful for all the help.

Very disappointed in lumapas and staff. Lumapas refused to personally talk to me about my test results, even after asking to speak with her about my bone test.The staff was very rude. Lumapas refused to release my medical records to my general practitioner. I have since fired her and am now going to see a rheumatologist that cares about its patients and not just the buck. Lumapas, you are obviously in the wrong profession!!! You need to care more about your patients and not your purse.

Feel she has little sympathy for my condition. Not the greatest bedside manner.

Dr. Lumapas is a caring individual. She takes time to listen and to explain any treatment she recommends.

nice dr. however she is not very personal. her office staff is horrible though, scheduled me an appointment but didn't save it in the computer, told me i'd have to reschedule. I waited. I would recommend her but she won't get very personal and not too friendly. Short, sweet and to the point.

I'm sure she's a great Dr but her office staff is rude and not worth dealing with to get to her.

Dr. Lumapas barely addressed the symptoms I was having. She told me she was giving me a new prescription and when I went to the pharmacy there was a different medication ordered than the one discussed. Further she ordered blood tests and suggested I visit a specific medical lab. When I went to for the tests they informed me that they were not equipped to do the tests ordered AND they had repeatedly told Dr. Lumapas' office that.

My wife goes her and she had nothing but good things to say.
