Marvelous service Dr. Velasques was more detailed about my wound.than my other doctor. It's barely the beginning so far go good.

While my overall experience with the staff was pleasant and professional. When the technician trimmed and used the nail grinder it was very painful. I told him that the arthritis in my toes made them extremely painful when he bent them to get a better angle to cutting the nails. I have a burned black area on the L toe next to big toe and my L big toe has 3 burned dots on the cuticle that were very painful for three days after my appointment. To this day they are still painful, but I can wear a shoe now. As you are aware that I am a diabetic, and because of my neuropathy; my wife who is a Registered Nurse was worried that I was having that much pain. She was also concerned about the abrasions on the toes, and wanted me to go to an ER Clinic. I'm very stubborn and convinced her to wait for a few days. I'll see if they improve in the next few days. My mother has been going to Dr. Velasquez for years. Dr. Velasquez provides excellent care and is wonderful with all her patients.

Only problem was assistant put a band on him but it way too tight my son's leg swelled up very badly and he took it off at night. He had the band indented into his skin. Dr Velasquez was very concerned and ordered an MRI stat he had it done in 2 days max. They had an appointment that same day but we live across town. Just waiting for the results now. Dr. Velasquez always provides excellent care, I needed surgery to have a pin removed from my ankle that had become dislodged from its original position. After several mishaps with my surgery date she helped in getting it scheduled and completed as I was suffering with a great deal of pain. I cannot thank her enough.

I feel really comfortable and relieved .Dr Velazquez treats with care and does everything to make my feet get better.Im very grateful .The other staff members are all very sweet and respectful I got attended immediately when I called for an appointment because my foot looked really bad .My wound changed right away in only 3 days .I really thought I was going to suffer an amputation .Hopefully all goes well .I will be also getting wound care at home from one of their nurses. I managed to get an appointment the same day I called. It was an hour long appointment, that's including getting my son into a cast. The Dr was great and everyone was friendly.

She was very nice. She did not rush, like most doctors to get to next patient. She answered all my questions. I would recommend her to my family & friends. Very happy with her.

Very disappointed. My wait time was often in excess of 1 hour and more problematically Dr Velasquez did not provide the bare minimum standard of care that you should be able to expect from a doctor. She had to perform a follow up surgery to fix a mistake from her first surgery and the problem is still unresolved. I would strongly suggest that anyone needing podiatric or wound care help look elsewhere. Very disappointed. I was very disappointed with Dr Velasquez' care for wound care at El Paso Specialty Hospital. She was only available once or twice per week because she was at her other practice the other times and I could not get Dr Velasquez to accurately explain what was going on. Worst of all she had to re-do a surgery where she left part of a bone that she was removing. This oversight put me in the hospital ICU. I would stay far far away from this doctor.
