Good experiences with Dr. Feder who is very learned as an endocrinologist (and personable once you get to know her); she has treated me since my thyroid cancer surgery last year. By the way, she is no longer in Wheeling--her current office is at Weirton Medical Center. At times, her turgid medical jargon--with no accompanying explanations of said terms and processes, initially--can be overwhelming and daunting. ✨Having said that, if you patiently, firmly, and politely ask her to please explain precisely what she means, she will do so with clarity, understanding, and patience????With needed ultrasounds and body scan MRIs, she also has eased my mind by calling personally to tell me the big-sigh-of-relief test results????...✨Word to the wise: Make sure to notify Feder's office ladies (secretaries and a nurse) to refill your prescriptions BEFORE you're completely out OR close to being out! Their official voicemail message states that prescriptions will be refilled in "TWO DAYS", but that is not always the case????; I've sometimes had to wait longer, which is stressful since I need to take my post-cancer medications daily and for the rest of my life. Overall, I recommend Dr. Feder who possesses several decades of experience in her realm of expertise???? I was sent to Dr. Feder by my physician as a followup after my thyroid tests at a neighboring hospital. Dr. Federal. was contracted to answer any questions I had concerning my thyroid. No. The doctor had the radiologist's report in hand. I sat while she cherry-pickipicked information contained on the report she complained repeatedly, unprofessionally about the radiologist,blaming the radiologist for h Dr. Feder's inability to answer my questions. The question is;when did the doctor realize the report was not complete? My appointment was scheduled. Why wasn't the doctor prepared for my arrival. I asked the doctor for a copy of the radiologis'ts report. She said ok. Then She told the girl at the desk to make me a copy. I asked the same girl for my copy. Dr. Feder is so knowledgeable in her field. She listens to our issues, orders appropriate testing, addresses all health issues and follows up with appointments and advice. We started with her in Wheeling, but will follow her anywhere...where goest she, so goest we! (And she has a great sense of humor!)

She listen to my daughter. She is a type 1 diabetic and Dr Feder listen to her on what she thought would help her.

I had a thyroid nodule, and went to her for a second opinion. I was seen right away, and she gave me some good ideas about my condition.

I went to Dr. Feder at Weirton Medical Center for Cushing's Syndrome. I did some research on my condition beforehand, and she was able to answer my questions. I was impressed with what she knew.

I have low testosterone and have been going to Dr. Feder since 2011. She has a nice personality, and is nice to talk to. The wait time was okay, I got an appointment in less than 2 weeks. She always follows up with any prescriptions or prior authorizations I need with the insurance company.

Was on lyrica for my neuropathy. Took a week for her to tell me I needed to see a pain doctor. A pain doctor for lyrica? This is just crazy .she is to old to do her job anymore Your better off going to another do yet.

Everyone’s experience is not equal, and you cant please everyone. Only people who have bad experience post on here, but Dr. Feder treats hundreds of clients and does a fantastic job. She is very thorough and answered all of my questions. She discussed multiple treatment options for the auto immune disorder that I have. She was nice and kind and seemed genuinely concerned. She also kept my mom from having a sugury that was in no way necessary and a lifetime of prescriptions, because she likes less invasive medication and treatment options. I think other people have read to much false information and compared her to their expectations after their google search. You cant go in assuming you will have the treatment that you read about, when she has not yet reviewed your condition. I had a wonderful experience. She is a very intelligent woman. She has been doing this for a long time and knows other treatment options that other doctors do not even talk about. Everyone’s experience is not equal, and you cant please everyone. My SO is seen yearly by doctor feder. Every visit for the last three years+ she has failed to identify his platelets were abnormally low. Unfortunately, a referral was never made to a hematologist on any abnormal CBC. We were not made aware of this problem until his family doctor brought it to our attention. After an emergency phone call and a trip to the ER, we were made aware of this dangerous condition. This should have been treated 7 months ago, however, it was overlooked multiple times.

Very Dissappointed. My first visit I gave the staff a full health history and list of medications and supplements including the fact that I’ve had Lyme Disease for 28 years (untreated and undiagnosed for 25 years.) I’ve been very sick since January since 01/18 worse than ever all symptoms including blood work indicate an Endocrine Disorder. I was referred to her from my PCP. She ran some blood work scheduled an appt for a week later. Went to my appt yesterday. She told me my blood. Work wasn’t abnormal enough to treat me any further. She is Conservative and treats conservatively. She told me I was on too many Medicines, Told me I’m on 16 meds I need to go off some meds. I’m actually on 7 meds daily. 2 as needed the rest are vitamins and supplements. She advised me to stop coloring my hair. (I’m a licensed hairdresser so she’s out of her league on that one) that’s why my hair is falling out please?! ???? and I should be CHECKED FOR LYME DISEASE!!!! WOW! Go to a doctor who pays attention and needless to say I’m getting a second opinion. Very Dissappointed. I have been seeing Dr. Feder for the past 11 years. I have diabetes due to my being overweight. Dr. Feder is an caring and compassionate doctor. She always takes the time to explain things to me. I give her 5 stars, even more if I could!

Horrible with gestational diabetes. Doctor was very rude and insulting to my spouse and myself. Other staff was wonderful.

Dr. Feder is very professional. I trust her judgement as my endocrinologist. I was referred to her after my thyroid surgery. So glad I have a specialist.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease in 1999. I have been seeing Dr. Feder on a regular basis ever since. I feel so much better.

I was pregnant and had diabetes. I made an appointment with Dr. Feder. She did a good job of explaining things and going over my blood sugars. I found a scrapbook from my pregnancy and thought fondly of her and how she helped me.
