I had a terrible visit with Dr. Rakvit. She didn’t listen to me, ask questions, or come physically examine me. She started right away with using a ton of different acronyms and wanted me to sign up for as many tests as I could that I definitely did not need. Right away I felt I couldn’t trust her and I’m glad I found another doctor who actually shows compassion.

Dr. Rakvit seems nice and well-meaning but attentive she is not. She is so fixated on the tests that she would not listen to my symptoms. She is also very unresponsive if you need help between visits. If your problem is simple and one office visit is enough, you might be ok. But her inability to listen and see the big picture led me to suffer far more than necessary. Once I got to a different doctor, my problem was solved after 3 days. This is after I had suffered miserably for three months trying to hang in there so she could figure out what I already knew was the problem. She never figured it out- actually shot down my theory- which turned out to be correct. The doctor that helped me was able to do so because of his willingness to look beyond the tests and LISTEN to my symptoms. To be in medicine you have to look at the data but also consider that what the patient says has value. The only good thing was by the time I got to the next doctor, there weren’t any more tests to be done!

Dr Rakvit and her staff are very caring. Dr Rakvit listens very well, which was important to me.

She is awesome Dr. She cares about her patients and her staff is just as nice.
