Dr. Ardeshir Soroushyari

i'm not sure how or why cedar sinai still keeping him on their network. This Dr is dishonest and not updated on the new treatments and medicines. He will not respond back to your messages or calls and ignore your requests complitly. Elvira the respenstion is rude, will talk and yell over you after waiting on the line for over an hour for someone to pickup the phone. My pharmacy just gave up on trying to get his office to respond to prescription refills up to a point that they didn't want to work with them any more and recommend to find a different Dr. they just don't care that i didn't have my daily diabetic medicine. Save yourself the aggravation dealing with his disrespectful front office and find a doctor that will be available when you need him or respond to you messages. i'm not sure how or why cedar sinai still keeping him on their network. Dr. Soroushyari is the kind of doctor who thoughtfully asks questions and listens to your answers and concerns. He takes his time and you never feel rushed. I think he is a wonderful doctor but his receptionist ELVIRA IS THE WORST. Doesn't return calls, never sent my bloodwork I repeatedly asked for, never answers the phone. She is terrible as many reviewers here have noted. It's a shame because I really liked him but not enough to go thru the aggravation of dealing with her. After years, I have had enough. Truly horrible service.

Dr Soroushyari is great however the front desk staff that Cedars Sinai is hiring is questionable.

I would gladly recommend Dr. Ardeshir Soroushyari to everyone who is looking for highly knowledgeable, responsible, compassionate and supportive doctor with a rare ability to see and understand every patient not as a box of symptoms, but as whole person.

It is hard to find an internist as caring, smart, and thorough as Dr. Soroushyari. We have trusted him with our health for years and are very thankful

I was sent to Dr. Soroushari by my family Dr. after being diagnosed with cancer. After our first contact with Dr. Soroushari he told me to not get treatment because I am 81 years old and it really was silly to go through the treatment. I went to another Dr. and they started treatment right away. I am alive because I left Dr. Soroushari.

After reading Lucinda Pruite's review I see that I had the same experience with Dr. S. He told me that my insurance would not cover the meds necessary for my cancer treatment. He asked me to call and deal with the insurance and specialty pharmacy myself and pay for it. After many calls to the insurance, that does not discuss coverage with patients, and Dr. S, office, I changed Dr. and found out that everything was covered.

My experience with this man 100% terrible. Dr. Soroushyari is a dis-honest man. He mis diagnosed me. He told me my medication to save my Husbands life was not covered by my insurance. I later found out it was, and he got paid by me and my insurance. His staff ignored my many calls to leave a message for him to call me. I finally, to save my Husbands life changed doctors and took him to San Diego. They jumped to action and I know my Husband is alive due to the new Doctors team.

I really think Dr. Soroushyari is one of the BEST doctors that I have ever been to see. He is very smart and really knows his stuff. I have had Type I Diabetes for 46 years and he has kept me in great control. He listens to the patient and has us work together as a team for the best outcome. It is very hare controlling my diabetes and he is there listening and giving me the best advice and care. I can be in better control now and we are working together so that I can live a good and healthy life

Dr. Soroushyari is the best Dr around. The complaint is his medical receptionist. She does not call people back When I went in today because the Dr. asked me to go in the medical receptionist gave me a lot of attitude. Said see all this work when I get done I will call. Her behavior was unprofessional. She is putting people life at stack. She needs to be terminated.

Dr. Soroushyari is a fabulous doctor who I would highly recommend. The only problem is his staff. When one of my friends recommended him to me, they warned me about his staff. Even though the staff has changed through the years, Nothing has changed. It's have to get a message to the Doctor of even get a call back. The back office girls are a delight, but the front office, office manager, and billing department are a nightmare.
