Dr. Arash Kimyai-Asadi

On 1/13/23, I experienced my 8th MOHS surgery by Dr. Asadi and would not hesitate to recommend my loved ones for his care. He also treated my first layer Melanoma that had been detected early by Dr. Rachel Gordon, his outstanding colleague at Brenham (TX) Dermatology. I sincerely question the authenticity of the negative reports about this exemplary Professional and only a fool would seek Medical care elsewhere!

He or his office will not return calls to a patient who had surgery the day before. Waited all day for a return call after calling his office 3 times. Very poor for a doctor.

As a physician myself, i am keenly aware of the traits and qualities I want to see in my own doctors. Dr. Asadi easily exceeds my stringent criteria. He’s very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. I also liked his style…confident but never arrogant and straightforward with the plan. I’ve seen him now several times and am impressed with his ability to analyze the information and derive a rational and well-explained plan of care. I went to Dr Asadi to have a squamous cell skin cancer removed. He made me feel at ease, explained the procedure in detail, was fast kind and very professional. I highly recommend him for any dermatology surgery that you may need.

I want to compliment Dr. Asadi and his staff for their professionalism. They were compassionate, competent and highly skilled. I will definitely refer them.

He is very good at explaining my problem so I can understand and is very open in explaining what he is doing and why. I rally appreciate his openness and candor. He and his staff are very professional and do a good job of making patients comfortable during long appointments when mos surgery is being done in his office.

WORST experience I've ever had with a doctor! Definitely did more harm than good. Overly aggressive and I am NOT happy with the results. He did not handle the case correctly and was very dismissive when I expressed my concerns.

I was extremely disappointed with the cosmetic appearance of my excision, compared to other dermatologist I've been to the work is subpar--the procedure was rushed and when I expressed disappointment Dr. Asadi was dismissive. Other dermatologist have grimaced at the sight of the scar left by Dr. Asadi's work. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

I was actually referred to Dr. Asadi by another physician who was unable to remove a cyst from my back. I was a bit reluctant to go to Dr. Asadi only because I don't like change. First, his staff is excellent...warm, friendly and very efficient. Dr. Asadi is personable, has the BEST bedside manner EVER, and very skilled. I wouldn't hesitate to use his professional services again nor would I hesitate to refer to family and friends. Trust me on this, he's simply the BEST!
