BRACA 2 breast cancer 26yrs in remission referred to Dr. Antony for breast reconstruction consultation due to new pain and tugging in the arm pit with concern for implant rupture. She said the implant didn't rupture and recommended revision for the pain. My initial surgeons had recommended against attempting revision because the area had under gone multiple surgeries with radiation before and after. Dr. Antony named dropped stanford training and claimed my prior surgeons incompetent while promising I would be home the same day. I explicitly said I was ok with no breast and did NOT want multiple surgeries . After surgery I had no breast and a tissue expander under my skin. This failed repeatedly in the past and requires more surgery. It was a nightmare. Dr. Antony said the implant was ruptured and it "looked like there was a lot of scar tissue, did you have radiation?". I required emergent surgery for skin death over the expander and a revision. I now have no breast.

Dr. Antony is beyond amazing! Being told I’d lose my breasts at 28 to cancer was devastating. For me reconstruction was really important and finding the best plastic surgeon was my goal and Dr. Antony exceeded my expectations. She is incredibly intelligent, makes you feel confident in the decisions you’re making, and my cosmetic outcome was beyond what I could’ve imagined. The whole staff in her office are wonderful too and are always there to help. When I started my whole process I never thought I would feel so good about my breasts in the end. I would highly recommend Dr. Antony, she’s the best!

I met Dr 5 years ago when she suggested a nipple sparing right mastectomy. due to a cancer tumor. She also added an implant to my left breast to even out. The results were magnificent. About a year or so later my implant burst and it needed replacement. A DIEP flap surgery was performed a few yrs later recovery was intense. Again the results were excellent, and felt much more natural because my own tissue and fat were used instead of an implant. It seemed that my left breast was larger than my right and it made me uncomfortable. A few consultations, a year later after fat settled in, it was decided they would again transfer fat from my hips, where there was some buckling (?) from stitches, after the DIEP, to my left breast and deplete some from my right breast. Also, I had an eye lift, both upper & lower lids, in addition to lipo on my neck. My results on my face and entire abdomen was very sublte, remarkably natural. Dr. Antony is a very skilled surgeon

I went to Dr. Antony for breast reconstruction. She and her team were truly amazing! She is an artist. Before surgery she really listened to what I wanted for an outcome and explained the post op care. After surgery Dr. Antony’s team was very attentive-available 24 hours a day. I followed all the post op care and while I had thought it would be difficult it turned out to be much easier than I had anticipated. Just 6 months out my result is spectacular and I would recommend her to anyone!

Simply put, Dr. Antony is the best! The process of having a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction felt incredibly isolating and frankly de-womanizing, but I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Antony’s patience, understanding, and compassion. She was down to earth, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Her balance of art and science gave me results that I couldn’t be more pleased with. Dr. Antony is simply the best! I cannot believe how natural and beautiful my result is. My new Ob-gyn could not even tell I was a double mastectomy-double reconstruction patient! She is known in the chicagoland area as the go-to surgeon for breast reconstruction and is nationally recognized for her the techniques she developed at Rush (totally famous!) Ask around and you will realize that she is technically the best, honest, dedicated w/a super bedside manner. Her staff are awesome too!

Dr Antony is a total expert on breast reconstruction that offers techniques that are not available at any other hospital in the Chicagoland area. She is a real artist and has an aesthetic eye. People don’t even know that I am a double mastectomy with recon- they look so natural! I am so glad I found her- I was referred to her because she is known as the best! (She also does my Botox and fillers and I am so glad I asked about it.)

She did not listen to my questions about breast reconstruction options. Feel that she pressured me into implants. Also mislead me regarding recovery and time off work. She was very abrupt and condescending. Very unhappy with her bedside manner and overall demeanor.

Dr. Antony is an incredible surgeon who genuinely cares about her patients getting the best results possible. Her work is truly amazing, and I am just thrilled with the outcome. She has always gone above and beyond for me, and I could not be more grateful to be in such capable, gifted hands!

Dr. Antony is the most impressive surgeon I've ever met. After speaking with several doctors, I actually flew to Chicago to undergo surgery with Dr. Antony specifically given her experience and results. She approaches surgery with the craft of an artist - topped with her expert medical training at Stanford and lovely bedside manner (she's the sweetest!) I couldn't have asked for more. My surgery came out flawlessly, and I always recommend Dr. Antony to family and friends.

She is very well read and works hard to serve her patients.

Dr Antony is very experienced and surgically skillful. I know having a female plastic surgeon was important to me bc I felt she understood what I wanted to achieve. She knows what she is doing and her work in the operating room is clearly superior. She is very busy but it does not bother me- she is an artist and in high demand. She and her staff were also very willing to answer my questions.

This was a follow up appt after a procedure with a different plastic surgeon. I was called 1/2 hour prior to my appointment after sitting in traffic for 45 minutes and advised that my appointment was canceled because the doctor was going to be out of the office. It is beyond my comprehension that a doctor does not know before 1/2 hour prior to an appointment that there is a problem. I am not a difficult person although I may sound like I am. This is so unprofessional.
