Being a patient at this office its been the worse experience for my husband and me. Every time we had an appoiment were been waiting for a long time in the waiting room as well inside. Communication with staff regarding refills, it's horrible and wait for them to return calls it's the worse, never happens. In general the service is very poor. Sad to say this office is not to help patients, is only to make money charging the insurances in advance without giving the service.

This is so far the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to. I found out I was pregnant the week before Christmas so I immediately called the office to go and have some blood work since I used the home pregnancy tests. (Just wanted to confirm) They told me I didn't need an appt, just to go as a walk in. So I did... Once I got to the office, the nurse said she couldn't do it because I needed to have a lab request. I explained to her I had previously called and told her the conversation I had with the receptionist. After explaining myself several times, she agreed to do the blood work. Once she was done, she mentioned the results will be delayed because of the holidays but they will give me a call as soon as they receive it and the authorization to see my OBGYN will be send out as well. It has been more than 3 weeks now and no one has called me to give me an update on the authorization nor to give me the test results. I called the office yesterday and the girl said the results are positive but there's no authorization on record. She said she was going to check my chart and will call me back later..... Totally unethical and incompetent. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone for any reason. You will need to follow up with them over and over again to accomplish the simplest things like refilling a prescription. They will bill your insurance in sketchy ways without a proper explanation. Never actually spoke to the actual doctor in over a year as a patient here. I've filed a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and I suggest that anyone else who has similar issues does the same thing - you can do it online. I'm a current patient looking to switch asap. This is an awful practice. Poorly managed by Zamorano, with a ragtag team of brash and unprofessional clock punchers. I scheduled my first visit with the DO but showed up to my appointment (and waited close to TWO hours) to be seen by his nurse practitioner. Their method of referring you to specialists is bizarre and involves writing a referral on a prescription pad (like an Rx you would bring to a pharmacy). They claim they are too busy to follow up on labs and force you to call them, but are always out to lunch/on break or just too caught up with office gossiping to pick up the phone. During my last visit, I overheard them trying to calm an irate client. Not surprised. I intend to file a grievance with Medicare/Medicaid and suggest other like-minded patients follow suit. They kept saying the doctor was on the way but after 2 1/2 hours of waiting, we couldn’t wait any longer and shouldn’t have to. This was my first visit. Prior to the visit, I was prompted to confirm the appointment three times, once over the phone, then over email and again over text message. I also exchanged emails with a representative to confirm that the Nurse Practitioner would be comfortable assessing some of my concerns, since the doctor wouldn't be available. I was in front of the office door at exactly 2:10 PM. My appointment was made for 2 PM. No one answered the door when I knocked. Some patients eventually left and I was able to get in while the door was open. By that time it was 2:12--2:13. There was no one at the front desk, I walked in and a worker was taken aback to see me. She said they were closed and that they allow 15 minutes before canceling the appointment and it was 2:15 already, it was NOT 2:15. Then the front desk receptionist comes out and asks if this is an emergency and that the nurse can see me if it is. I say that I don't need to go to the ER or Urgent Care, but I got time off work and made sure to be here. She said she'll "talk to the nurse." Then she left and there was whispering for a while. She comes back and hands me paperwork to fill out. At this point I'm pretty shocked. Being made to feel an "inconvenience" at a first visit to this office was a major red flag. But I start filling out the paperwork anyway. Another worker passes by and the receptionist asks "Can you take her blood? Because so-and-so is gone already". They were very kind, listened, took plenty of time to diagnose my back issue, provided help immediately, and helped figure out a game plan. I was extremely impressed.

I credit Doc Z and his staff for saving my life. After a minor stroke they set me up with a good plan and I feel great. You are in good hands here!

I have never been more disappointed in a in a Dr. in all my years. I needed to see this Dr on a few occassions, but only got to meet him once, he came into the cubicle I was waiting in a shook my hand, I never saw him again. Each time with my appointment I saw a different person each time. One male assistant saw me, I had a very painful rash on my feet just above my ankles, he told me I had sun burn. I left and in pain, I then went on my own to a skin Dr and was told I had poison Ivy. I was given medication and it went away.. I have been having real pain in my legs along with cramps so bad, that I ask if I could get aHandicap plaque as it hurt me to walk , I filled out application and paid the office there 15.00 dollars it has been two months and no answer about the plaque, I call every day and finally went in to office, they knew nothing about it, I was toldYVONNE was in charge, They lefty her a message to call me, she never called, I am out my 15.00 dollars and no plaque. Dr. Zamorano is a great dr., he found my heath problem very fast and put me on treatment. Actually 3 members of my family are with dr. Zamorano and they are very happy about him.

I have have scheduled several appointments with this doctor and he has failed to show up. First time we waited over two hours and he never showed up. 2nd time we were seen by a different doctor. Office staff is very unprofessional and leave you on hold if you ask too many questions.

Worse customer service I have ever had. Does not try to work with you and your insurance at all. I literally just got my vaccinations approved without a hassle through another doctor. Tried to get the same ones for my wife with this office and they at first even refused to send in the insurance request for it. I finally convinced them to send in a request and they did a BS job and it just got rejected. They told me to deal with the insurance myself. I had no problems with the exact same vaccines with another office a few months prior. I also had a referral to go see a specialist and called in for the information to make an appointment with them. To start with the conclusion, Dr. Zamorano saved my life, in every sense. I was borderline diabetic, grossly overweight, suffering severely from arthritis and had a serious, long-term inguinal hernia and serious heart problem. He fixed all of those, with the aid of well-chosen specialists. I have every reason to believe I wouldn't have lived to my 65th birthday without his care. I know I would not be enjoying 20, 30-mile and longer bicycle rides along our beach and river paths.

Dr Zamorano is a phenomenal Medical Doctor. He is willing to take the time and sit with his patients - go through every medical concern. However, the medical office has to be the worst office. Poor communication, unprofessional, no follow-ups. My referral has been approved, no one called. Called Regal Medical Group and it has been approved but suspended, due to inactivity. This has been the third time!

Above and beyond my expectations. My mother recently switched GP because her previous doctor simply wasn't able to provide the level of health care she needed. A close and dear friend referred my Mother to Dr. Antonio Zamorano and she is extremely happy and relieved knowing she is in good hands. Dr. Zamorano exceeds anyone's expectations. He genuinely cares about his patients and this is why many go to him and don't mind waiting to see him. He could have choosen and more lucrative medical specialty, but instead chose what is close to his heart "his community" which is in desperate need of more Extrodinary Family Doctors such as him.
