Knowledgable and caring are certainly two qualities I wanted in an oncologist, and Dr. Melnyk possesses both at every appointment. I’m grateful to have a confidence in my team that allows me to receive treatment close to home.

Dr. Melnyk is very thorough and really seems to care about his patients. His office staff is also so helpful. The nurses in the treatment room are very nice.

Dr. Melnyk is my oncologist, as well as oncologist for my Mother in law. He is genuinely concerned about his patients and is willing to listen to his patients needs.

Everyone at Texas oncology has been extremely nice and helpful. Dr Melnyk is a wonderful doctor. He has a very calming mannerism and spends the time you need to get all your questions and concerns addressed. Dr Melnyk is a kind man that genuinely cares about his patients. When going through a time that you need an oncologist these are the people you definitely want to be able to turn to. They are all very warm and caring people.

Dr Melnyk always explains labs and care. Always takes time to answer my questions. If I call with an issue he provides an answer or has me come in if it’s something he wants to check.

Treats each patient as an individual. Sincerely involved with the care of his patients. Dr. Melnyk and his staff have made a difficult diagnosis easier to navigate.

Dr Melynk was recommended by a friend of mine, so when I was diagnosed with breast cancer I reached out to him. I have been seeing him for 5+ years and couldn't be happier with him. He takes the time to review my situation and provide thoughtful approaches. He is compassionate, excellent bedside manner, and thorough. I trust him and his expertise. I can't recommend him enough!

My experience with Dr Melnyk was excellent and I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Melnyk to anyone. Very polite and attentive to my care at all times.

My recent visit with Dr. Melnyk was a routine follow up, post breast cancer and post all treatments. I am doing well, and he makes sure of that fact. He is very thorough and ask me questions of my overall health and well being. He always checks my latest blood work results against previous results and ask me if I have any questions, concerns or needs. I have recommended him and Texas Oncology numerous times.

Dr Melnyk is awesomel! I had a couple of bad experiences with doctors & prescription drugs for my Fibromyalgia and related symptoms many years ago, so I prefer to avoid going to MDs. We went to Dr Melnyk today due to my dad being diagnosed with cancer. Dr Melnyk has an excellent bedside manner, listens to your opinions even when they differ from his own, and clearly has the best interests of his patients in mind! Well done, doc! My mother is a patient of his and has been treated very well at Texas Oncology. She is in remission. We are very grateful for his care and the staff there. We know that Cancer is something that cant always be cured and he is very honest with us. God is the one in control. Just remember bad reviews are always someones opinion, not always facts. Dr. Melnyk has been my hematologist for years, and I look forward to our twice-yearly checkups. With his long experience, he spots things in my blood reports that could become problems but thinks carefully before making changes. He's a careful listener and a great explainer.

Good man that will take the time to explain things to you.

I found him& his nurse to be very RUDE! NOT compassionate at all. Left me feeling worse and without hope. I wanted a second opinion & was refused service by TX oncology after that.

A very friendly professional Doctor.

Dr. Melnyk is always patient, kind and leaves me with a positive outlook.

Dr. Melnyk has been my oncologist since I moved to Abilene in November 2020. I like his honesty, concern and attention to my medical needs. He is very open an easy to talk to.

Appt on time. Did not wait long in room. Very nice and knowledgeable. Am very comfortable with Dr Melnyk and all the staff.

Dr. Melnyk is very professional & explains my Multiple Myeloma in a way that I can understand. I’m very fortunate to have his expertise & knowledge. I think that what truly distinguishes him from other specialists, he actually cares about his patients.

My dad was a patient of Dr. Melnyk’s until he let him go for seeking a second opinion. He was very rude and does not care about his patients. I do not recommend this doctor AT ALL!!!

He is not in touch with his patients. He is more concerned about a patients weight and delights in humiliating them. He doesn't give the test results even after you have to pay a huge sum of money. I do not feel safe under his care. Please find someone else to keep track of your care. I've had my dr send him critical results to which he never responded. That's dangerous to my care. Nice guy. Explains whatever questions you have. Makes you feel comfortable and important. Proud to be his patient.

If you want a doctor that goes on vacation and has no team to make critical decisions in your treatment in his absence, then Dr. Melnyk is your guy. My Uncle had esophageal cancer at the same time as my priest. Dr. Melnyk was on vacation during critical points in my uncle's treatment that could have prevented his cancer from spreading. My priest went to MD Anderson in Houston and thankfully had treatment and surgery and is in remission. When we decided to put my uncle in hospice, Dr. Melnyk was the last to know...due to being out of touch. He came into his room and was trying to still give us more treatment options, within 12 hours of deciding he go into hospice, he lost consciousness and passed a couple days later. We never once received condolences from Dr. Melnyk or his staff. I guess he was more focused on who was still alive that he could fund his next trip to the Alps or wherever he was planning to go next.

It was not what I had expected. Dr. Melnyk used computers to protect patients from Covid-19. I felt good about his concern for my health.

I have been very please with My experience at TEXAS Oncology under the care of Dr Melnyk. He is professional as well as kind and easy to visit with. He answers my concerns and never seems rushed or too busy to listen. I couldn’t ask for a better Dr.

I received excellent care, concern and the highest compassion from "all" the nurses, administrators and especially Dr. Anton Melnyk. I was able to stay at home and all my family by my side. Excellent staff and doctor.

Dr. Melnyk is always kind, caring, and professional. He answers my questions directly and without making me feel like he's trying to rush me out the door. I have great confidence in his advice and guidance.

Dr. Melnyk seems to care about his patients and their needs. On my last visit he put my mind at ease about an MRI I had a couple of weeks earlier. He takes time to answer my questions. I am a new patient of his...new since December. I am pleased with him.

I felt that Dr. Melnyk took a personal interest in my battle with cancer. And, even performed medical treatment in an expedited manner. Especially when a patient feels like every minute counts.

Compassionate. Caring. Extremely well informed. An excellent leader for a first rate team!

I definitely can recommend Dr. Melnyk. I have him to monitor a blood disorder. However I prefer to see him in the south office as it is much closer to my home and the entry from parking or drop off is more direct for me as I normally use a cane or of late a walker or wheelchair.

Dr. Melnyk and his staff are wonderful. They helped me get through one of the toughest times in my life. So thankful to have a facility and staff close to home that are so caring and compassionate.

He is very thorough and takes time to listen. He is also very knowledgeable. Wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Dr. Melnyk was rushed, but awesome as usual. I waited an hour in a packed waiting room and the staff seemed stressed out and rude. The staff member who took my vitals and other info, was extremely rude. Shaming me for not getting a Covid test, even though I had no symptoms.

Dr.Melnyk seems to be very concerned and cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone with cancer needs.

Dr. Melnyk is the best. He is kind, knowledgeable, open minded, extremely personable and just an all around amazing human. He took me on as a patient and saved my life.

He is very knowledgeable and caring. He listens and answers all my questions. He is truthful and I trust his care and his care plan for me. Everyone from his office that I have contact with has been kind, considerate and compassionate. Their hard work and diligence does not go unnoticed and is a blessing to me.

Very professional friendly staff at Texas oncolgy Dr Melynk is a fabulous Dr he's my husband's Cancer Dr anytime you have ? There's alway some one there to answer them

He is a very knowledgeable and caring oncologist. Keeps up with research, new treatments, clinical trials. Also is a straight shooter when discussing treatment plans, side effects, etc.
