Dr. Anton Y. Jorgensen

Dr Jorgensen is an amazing surgeon. He performed back surgery on my husband 3 months ago and my husband hasn't had any pain since the first day of his surgery. We have recommended him to everyone we talk to. Thank you Dr. Jorgenson for giving my husband his life back.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have excruciating neck pain that travels down my shoulder and my arm. Went to see this doctor with his ordered MRI and CT Scan done. He said he could imagine the pain from my images. Recommended fusion of 2 neck vertebrae and 3 disc replacements. I was ready and willing for relief. He gave me his surgery schedulers card. I called her numerous times. She said he had never ordered the surgery in spite of her reminder messages. This was over a month ago. I live in pain. I am scheduled to see another doctor next week to see if he will follow through with what this doctor led me to believe he would do. Where is human decency and compassion?

This Individual, Falsified Medical Records' T BAMC' Failed to Treat Bursted Vertebrae, allowed it the vertebrae to form a Kyphotic deformity in my Spine, while allowing me over 6 months to Suffer needlessly, and MEDCOM, has tried to cover it up, however, I have the records citing Kyphosis of Jorgensen at 33-37%. While chief of Radiology cited 80+% in the beginning of this nightmare. JORGENSEN, allowed' this's until final meeting, 6 months Post, when he said"We Might Be able to do something, maybe go in from behind' with like a cage...But..." I questioned him with my Wife' But What ?' JORGENSENS REPLY.."Well' We would have to Charge You !," I replied What ? !', Jorgensen, then replied, "Well...We Can not do it for Free ...". I had full blown top of the line Insurance, that had been paying Jorgensen, and BAMC, a good 6 figures at that point. MEDCOM Has tried to cover this up, with Arrogance/Ignorance. I ended up going through a 5 level Throacic Corpectomy (drastic Fusion)and, an Osteotomy, where they had to try to Fix the collapsed vertebrae, and KYPHOTIC DEFORMITY, provided me, By this Charlitan, because, he, thought, I had no money, or Insurance, while, he was pocketing it at the same time. HELP Ever, Hurt NEVER...HUH ? One way or another, this will make it to Gen. DINGLE, MEDCOM Command, and the State Licensing Board. I have your notes, and THE ORIGINAL Records. YOU are a Blight, to Physician's, and, to the United States Military, of which, I will seek, your removal, from both, YOU are a threat !

Super nice. Very patient. I’m deaf myself and usually I have had doctors who wanted to just rush the appointment but not this doctor. Made me feel soo much at ease knowing I’m in a very good hands. I feel safe enough for him to go into my spine.

Excellent surgeon. Provides clear and concise pre and post operative explanations. I am post operative pain free for the first time in years.

Amazing surgeon. Listens to your concerns and provides recommendations. I just wanted to be pain free. Dr Jorgensen performed disc replacement surgery and I woke up from surgery pain free. He used the least evasive method so recovery is quicker.

I first saw Dr Jorgensen about 5 years ago when he was at SAMMC. I have had Chronic back pain for years. He performed several surgeries that were a success. I had to continue seeing him for other back issues. He just performed a fusion in my lower back and it’s only been a month and feel like I can live a more active life now Dr Jorgenson is very thorough when you are talking surgery. He will always make sure surgery is the last or the best way to go before doing anything He cares very much about you and your problem and wants to make sure he always does the right thing. I am glad to have him as my Surgeon. I trust him completely

Dr. Jorgensen is a superb physician/surgeon. His primary concern is patient welfare. For me that started with a detailed review of my condition, how it impacted my quality of life and what his thoughts were about options. He is a doctor who believes that the least possible surgery is the best surgery. He uses "state of the art" minimally invasive techniques that do the least amount of collateral damage to muscles and surrounding tissue. His methods take longer in the OR, but they greatly reduce the recovery time and post-operative pain. He takes all the time that a patient needs to understand the diagnosis, consider all available options and weigh the risks/benefits of surgery. Once surgery is chosen by the patient Dr. Jorgensen spends a great deal of time to make sure the patient knows exactly what the surgical plan is. He talks the patent through the procedure from pre-op prep through post-op rehab. He followed up with me on a regular basis as I recuperated.

I suffered for years with back pain, saw numerous doctors and tried various treatments to no avail. I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Jorgensen, he did a thorough examination of my back and determined it was my sciatic nerve that was causing my issue. He discussed the treatment options available, both pros and cons of each and in terms I could understand. I opted to go with the surgery and within days I was pain free. Dr. Jorgensen has been given an exceptional gift of healing! I would not consider having back surgery without first getting his opinion first. He has really changed my life for the better. I can now do things I haven't done in years due to the pain. NONE BETTER!
