About Dr. Antoine I Jabbour
Reviews for Dr. Antoine I Jabbour
Dr. Jabbour was very thorough and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome with my shoulder surgery. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I think very highly of him.
Accessible, organized and very friendly staff.
Everyone is very nice and professional. Dr Jabbour is the best.
I saw Dr Mittal before Dr Jabbour. Mittal didn’t even touch my knee and recommended a procedure that isn’t covered by insurance. I went to Jabbour for a second opinion and I am so thankful I did! He has a less is more approach. Not only, did he actually touch my knee, he recommended a cheaper alternative to surgery 1st, a steroid injection. When that didn’t alleviate my pain, he recommended a minor outpatient surgery that was covered by insurance. It has helped me so much! I’m only 6 weeks out and have almost no pain! I am so thankful I found Dr Jabbour!
Treated well. Good experience overall.
I came in after a bad fall after I went to ER. I felt Dr rushed the appointment and didn’t listen to my concerns or what ER doctor had to say.
Love Dr. Jabbour. He’s personable, direct, informative, kind, efficient & competent. All the things one wants in a physician. Highly recommend.
Great attitude, listens to your issues and provides treatment options. He has good experience with the joint appliance that he installed. He can be quick on rechecks, but he will take appropriate time if you have concerns.
Dr. Jabbour has a great bed-side manner, and he listens to your issues and addresses each concern, and he does not rush you - and a great surgeon - recommend Dr. J. highly!
He is awesome!! He has performed other surgeries on me and my husband. Great doctor

I had a R total knee replacement. He was very kind and caring. He is a excellent surgeon. He managed my pain and aftercare to my total satisfication. I will also have him do my left knee when I am ready. I wouldn't even consider another surgeon. He is the BEST.
Dr. Jabbour is a really good doctor. Personable and really good at explaining my situation. I trust him.
Excellent overall experience. Wonderful surgeon and staff, was very honest and relational. Appreciate Dr Jabbour’s advice about immediate and long term action. Was back on my feet within days and feel better than I had in years.

Good service. Nice guy. Informed but not pushy. I appreciate that
Dr’s Jabbour and’s treatment of my leg gave me relief from the pain in the head, he does an excellent job highly recommend him!
Very good experience. Dr. Jabbour takes time to explain things. I have been coming to see him for 25 years and would highly recommend him.
Dr. Jabbour met with me for some long time shoulder pain, unlike a previous orthopedic surgeon, Tony first suggested therapy, to see if the pain could be reduced by therapy. This was a very welcome and intelligent suggestion that meant a lot to me, I had always heard and found other surgeon’s wanted to rush to surgery, it was great to try a non surgery option. My shoulder did not respond to the therapy so I did have Dr.Jabbour do the shoulder surgery and he has explained every detail and answered every question I have had. I highly recommend Dr.Jabbour to anyone who is looking for an honest caring Dr/Surgeon! Dr. Jabour explained my situation in terms I could understand, answered all of my questions, and took the time to accomplish the same. In the past, before he performed my surgery, he thoroughly explained what I would expect and what I shouldn’t. I greatly appreciated that information beforehand.

He was very friendly, asked all the right questions and gave advice on how to proceed. I couldn't be more pleased.
I’ve had an excellent experience with Dr. Tony Jabbour. He repaired my shoulder, educating me before and after surgery. He checked up on me and referred me to one of the excellent physical therapists for my pt . I’ve referred him to my friends. Knowledgeable, kind and professional!!
Dr. Jabbour and Melissa make you feel like you're their only patient.

I can’t say enough good about Dr.Jabbour and the staff Tulsa Bone & Joint! They have helped me through a difficult time with a problem knee. They always take time to answer my questions and treat me with respect. I have had multiple surgeries in my life and this by far the best experience I have had!
Dr. Jabbour was very kind and helpful. His medical asst Melissa was also very kind. When you're in a lot of pain this kindness goes a long way. I will recommend Dr. Jabbour to anyone who is having these difficulties. Thank you.
Dr Jabbour was extremely crass. He did not believe my surgery history and played down how I FEEL in my own body. He also criticized my appearance with a hateful remark. I guess he was unaware I am currently on a weight loss journey and didn't seem too concerned about apologizing when I told him I've lost 12 pounds in a month and still going. His bedside manner is at the top worst I've ever had. I would not recommend him to ANYONE. Dr Jabbour was extremely crass. Dr Jabbour is very knowledgeable and I feel like he will implement the best plan for my injury.
Dr Jabbour told me that I would be able to return to my regular activities after bilateral shoulder replacements and that my shoulders would have full range of motion. Instead, he herniated the C5C6 disc in my neck, failing to support it appropriately in the first replacement. While I was waiting for the second we saw both my shoulders shrink to skin and bone/appliance. I had to have a disc replacement, which has not gone well either. I’m now a chronic pain patient and my shoulders have restricted function.

Dr. Jabbour has been great all the way through my shoulder surgery. From pre-op exam and communication to post-operative care he has done great work and is encouraging with a great bedside manner.
I’ve appreciated Dr. Jabbour explaining things in terms anyone could understand. He is matter-of-fact but tempered with compassion. I like that he did not shy away from scenarios that were not always what one would want to hear.
Thorough. Educational

Dr Jabbour... Great Dr, experienced and kind.
Great doctor with compassionate understanding n care for your needs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED N SUGGESTED
I saw Dr. Jabbour for knee pain. He was very friendly and explained the procedure that he proposed. The procedure worked well.
Dr Jabbour's professionalism and ethics speaks volumes. His education in Sports Medicine and also surgery make him a candidate for natural healing as well as surgery.

Dr. Jabbour is an excellent doctor. He really knows shoulders and knees! I would highly recommend him!
Dr Jabbour did my frozen shoulder repair 7 years ago and just did my arthroscopic left knee meniscus repair 1 week ago! I woke up from my shoulder surgery feeling better than I had in a year! My knee is doing great!! He’s an amazing surgeon and I just can’t recommend him highly enough!!!

Professional and caring. I thought I was his only patient!
I had 2 shoulder replacement surgeries in 2013 by Dr Antoine Jabour. My surgeon became concerned between them about the atrophying of my shoulders. I was sent to Dr Reddy, a neurologist, had an MRI, and finally sent to a Rehab Specialist who discovered on the MRI that I had a herniated disc. He sent me to Dr Richard Thomas, a neck surgeon who did a disc replacement in March 2014. My neck surgeon stated to me twice and to my wife separately that it most likely occurred during the first shoulder surgery due to a failure to support my neck properly. I am left with a lot of pain, severe weakness and mobility restriction, and problems sleeping. The Rehab Specialist states that I have a 50% chance of getting 50% of my lost muscle back from the atrophy caused by the neck injury. I have been to two other groups of doctors, Central State Orthopedics and Warren Clinic, and it appears that no one can do anything about it now. I have seen a specialist at OU Physicians and two specialists at Cleveland Clinic The specialist at OU Physicians told me that he stopped doing disc replacements about the time Dr Richard Martin did mine because of these complications. I was much better off before the surgery.@tulsaboneandjoint Dr Jabbour responds, below, that I was pleased with my surgery outcome. If that is so, why did he refer me to Dr Richard Thomas at Tulsa Bone and Joint, a cervical orthopedic specialist, who did my C5C6 disc replacement resulting from Dr Jabbour's left shoulder replacement surgery? The reason that I stopped seeing Jabbour was because he realized that the injury had occurred and sent me there. One surgery lead to the other. And now I am left like I am. Great doctor.
Great doctor quick service
I think Dr. Jabbour is very good at what be does and he wants you to know what be can do and what he can't. He has helped me in the past and it looks like he helped me this time also. If I I have anything go wrong that he can help me with I will be calling.
Very pleased with Tulsa Boint & Joint ! I would absolutely recommend them. I think Dr. Jabor is an excellent surgeon, and l definitely will use him for future surgeries .
Dr. Jabbour is a very thorough doctor. He was kind and compassionate, which can be a rarity with specialists since you NEED them and they know it. He always took time with me, wasn’t in a hurry, and discussed all options. He replaced my left ACL with an allograft ACL, which he ate the cost for because my insurance wasn’t going to cover it. That didn’t change my quality of care whatsoever. My recovery was as expected and the nursing staff was also very responsive with all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Jabbour and will definitely use him again if the need arises. But hopefully it won’t ????! Dr. Jabbour is a very thorough doctor. I am pleased to acknowledge that my visit and care atTulsa Bone and Joint felt safe in this trying time of the coronavirus from the check in procedure outside and then the short wait to see Dr. Jaboor, who I appreciate in explaining my options to surgery; yet, I felt he reassured me by letting a colleague examine me also My son Willie had worked with Dr. Jaboor and referred me to him with very high compliments and I agree that he examines well and listen but most of all he cares about our limbs enough to try to heal them and not quick to do the last alternative surgery. I have been seeing Dr. Harbour since Dec for my right knee. He did surgrey to repair a torn meniscus. I healed well but was still having pain. He recommended an injection. It helped some but not as well as we both thought it should so I had a stronger one that has helped much better. As I have arthritic knees we are trying to put off replacement as long as possible. I am so pleased Dr. Harbour is here for me.
My experience with Dr Jabbor was great. He and his assistant Melissa are very good. He has kept me being able to walk. I appreciate them. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Jabour is very knowledgeable very professional. With both surgeries I have had with him he is the reason I returned for the second. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
Dr. Jabbour and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
Excellent. Communicated well and clearly. Got in quickly to see him. Explained the problem and options well.
He was informative and concerned about my treatment. Communicated well
Dr.Jabbour is very informative and explained my problem with my knee in language that was easy to understand. He gave me options and a plan of treatment. It is very comforting to be able to talk to your doctor and not just get a lecture. ??
Dr Jabbour did a knee replacement on my husband and it has been a great experience. He is so compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to take care of his patient!

My visit with Dr. Jabbour was a very pleasant experience. His knowledge, advice and willingness to provide options was pleasantly received.
Dr. Jabbour has repaired my left and right shoulders, five years apart. I will go to him first! Both surgeries went without an issue. I feel heard and helped.
Only problem was on hold 30 minutes waiting to make an appointment when I mention being on hold For 30 minutes was told me and 4000 others. This was very unprofessional was told only had 4 people taking appointments. Kinda confusing How busy they where when I got in the next day
Dr. Jabbour is compassionate. He expressed concern & his staff available for quick response on phone, no long holds. My injury was during pandemic, no surgeries allowed, when the time was right, corrected immediately. I thank Dr Jabbour for his kindness.
Dr. Jabbour recommended and performed my acl surgery. After surgery I showed progress, as expected, but then slowly started declining, three days later, in range of motion. My leg started swelling and the pain became unbearable. At my follow-up appointment after surgery I tried to tell Dr. Jabbour something wasn’t right, this had been my fourth knee operation. Dr. Jabbour said I needed to put more weight on my leg and stop using crutches. Two days later I spiked a fever and ended up in the ER. I followed up with Dr. Jabbour the day after visiting the ER with a significant amount of swelling, heat, and pain in my knee. I was extremely sick with body aches, fever, chills and night sweats, every symptom was communicated clearly to Dr. Jabbour. His answer was that I had probably used it too much and I needed to give it time to heal. I didn’t feel that was a sufficient answer, so after further conversation he offered to drain my leg. He said “I can drain your leg but the chances of finding anything is almost none. You would be my first infected patient in ten plus years.” He drained my leg which was full of infection. He booked me for surgery the next day. He cleaned out the infection, removed my acl, and then told my family that he tried to tell me I didn’t need the acl surgery to begin with. Dr. Jabbour displayed an extreme amount of arrogance and exceptionally poor listening skills. My primary doctor was updated on everything that had taken place and told me I was “circling the drain”. I fully believe if I had left Dr. Jabbours office that day, instead of demanding investigation, I might not be here. I do not recommend Dr. Jabbour. Dr. Jabbour & Melissa are beyond excellent! They have taken very good care of my daughter (acl repair) & myself (knee replacement). I highly recommend!
Dr. Jabbour is an excellent doctor. Listens to my concerns and very easy to talk to . Spends time to give me solutions, options and asks what do I expect the out come to be.
Dr. Jabbour is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable with his surgeries and would recommend him to family and friends that are in need of this kind of surgery. Thank you very much.
Preparation was good. I felt Dr. Jabbour gave me the options and then let me pick the best route for me. He wants to see his patients recover quickly and after only a month I am riding stationary bike and haven't used my crutches or brace since day 10. The surgery went very well. Highly recommend!
Arrogant jerk. I got infected after his surgery and it took forever for him to listen
Doc repaired my left rotator cuff about 4 years ago. Went fantastic! Did my right one 5 weeks ago. No pain at all, have full range of motion and I expect to be playing golf by the first of the year!!
Very good personable and great listener
Dr. Jabbour is very knowledgeable, and gives vey caring and respectful time to his patients. I would highly recommend him and as a matter of fact i already have.
Very factual and patient focused
Dr Jabbour could care less about his patients. He is the rudest most unprofessional doctor I have ever went to and don't plan on going back. He really doesn't even deserve 1 star. Pathetic example of a Tulsa Bone and Joint physician.
Very caring, experienced and personable physician
I've had ACL surgery on both knees and he was the best! I was walking without a limp within 1 week with no brace or crutches and this was 18 years ago.
I just made my first appointment with Dr. Jabbour & I was so happy with the efficiency & wait period, only 2 1/2 week wait to get in, not three months like most. I love Bone & Joint, will update review after first visit, but I already know he is an amazing Doctor.
Dr. Jabbour is awesome, he did the surgery on both of my shoulders. I'm diabetic so after surgery both shoulders unfortunately froze up again and he had to do a manipulation on both meaning he had to break up all the scar tissue under anesthesia. My shoulders will never be 100% again but he took very good care of me and his patients health and satisfaction are very important to him. If the situation arises where I need joint repair or replacement he will be the only doctor I'll call on. Thanks Dr. J.
