2 stars for a 2 minute long exam where the doctor gave me 2 accidental knicks of a scalpel out of my foot.

Was completely dismissive of my ankle injury, and life long history of previous ankle injuries. Did not show me my x ray, spent as little time as possible speaking with me, and recommended I return to the job that injured me under stronger prescription pain medication. No interest in discovering a cause of the frequent injuries or pain, nor in treating the existing injury, only on getting out of the appointment as quickly as possible

This is the coolest doctor on the planet. He saw the problem and scheduled me the same week for the procedure. It did take a while for the procedure but I am fine now.

Dr. Smaldino sent my husband home with a bandaid and neosporin when he went in with a cut on his foot. In three days, it turned into a full blown diabetic ulcer. Long story short, my husband just had his leg amputated below the knee when it could have been prevented had it been treated properly from the beginning.

I saw Dr. Smaldino for the first time with a toenail issue. Did not give me the time of day to even understand what was wrong. Pressured me to make a quick decision and got instantly annoyed when I was asking basic questions about the procedure. Extremely arrogant and horrible bed-side manner. Would not recommend to anyone.
