Dr. Anthony J Senagore

Dr Senagore basically saved my life. I was dealing with an issue for 1 1/2 years before a went to him. He repaired my issue in one surgery and gave my life back. Dr Senagore, you’re awesome and had you not left USC I would have referred you to a family member. Thank you for your awesome service.

Had my first-ever colonoscopy in March. Senagore said I had a subcutaneous mass @ the opening to my appendix and recommended removing the organ as well as 10" of colon (ascending colon)! When I got a 2nd opinion, the other doctor (Itawi @Bronson--see him instead!) seemed more conservative, saying we could remove the appendix, send the mass to pathology, and if they saw something, *then* he could go back in and remove the ascending colon, if warranted (that would mean a second surgery). On the day of my surgery, he also did a "confirmatory colonoscopy" to make sure--and I'm glad he did! He found *no* mass, and sent me home that same day, with nothing taken out. I'm livid that Dr. Senagore incurred over a $1000 in additional costs for me, just for, what.....? To line his pockets? I've speculated that the Ayurvedic treatments I did from March to June helped shrink the mass/remove it, but there's no way to know. After my 1st visit, I was told that Dr. S is no longer practicing. Suspicious.

Didn't listen to me at all. Even though all my problems started after hemorrhoid surgery, and I'm in pain he had no answers and didn't care at all about my pain and suffering! Terrible bedside manner

Was supposed to see a different provider that I was referred to by my oncologist and a friend saw Dr. Senagore instead. Dr. Senagore showed up late and then rushsed me through the appointment. He never made eye contact and appeared aggitated. He did an exam and did not tell me what to expect and was very rushed through both the consult and exam (which hurt). He did not appear to have any empathy for me and I could hear him raising his voice through the door
