Wow! One of those rare doctors that takes a genuine interest in his patients and their well being. He takes as much time as needed during office visits and is empathetic and trustworthy. He is a wonderful listener and communicates in plain English without jargon or medicalese. He is one of those salt of the earth type individuals that you would enjoy associating with. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Made an appointment, saw PA instead, which was fine because my condition is under control, but just need someone to submit standard Rx refills. Unfortunately, it regularly takes Rieder's office 3+ weeks to approve the pharmacy's refill requests, leaving the patient with nothing until their office can find the time to send a fax to the pharmacy. This simple request, typically done in 15 minutes, took them WEEKS. To make things worse, the office lied about receiving the Rx refill requests, ignored phone calls from both the pharmacy and me, and tried to bill me 100s of dollars months after my visit, after taking my insurance info and accepting my copay, because they forgot to submit a claim to my insurance? It's hard to believe that an office with so many cumulative years of education can be run so poorly.

After living with the last 10+ years of my breathing problems being ignored, I was so lucky to find Dr Rieder who took my health concerns seriously and operated on me. I'm now a month and a half post op and couldn't be happier. For the first time in over a decade, I can finally breathe out of my nose, which is improving my health in other areas of my life. I am most mad I let other doctors tell me that my situation wasn't in need of medical attention and have been living uncomfortably, when Dr. Rieder looked right at it and knew instantly what was wrong and how to fix it. In the many visits to see Dr. Rieder, every time I was seen by a physician's assistant. The PA spends less then 5 minutes with me. Still being billed for seeing a specialist even though I never see him. Time to find another doctor.

The staff at the front desk was extremely nice. That's about all I can say about the experience. I was having fairly traumatic symptoms without knowing a whole lot about the condition I was taking heavy medication for. When I got to my appointment, Dr. Rieder never made an appearance and the physician I saw did not tell me anything about my condition (including what the condition was, I learned it from the gentleman that administered my hearing test), potential causes, what to expect, how affective treatment was... I was told to keep taking my medicine and that "nothing you do now will change the outcome."

Dr. Rieder is kind, caring and an excellent ENT.

All went well until Dr. Reider decided to defraud us. We later realized our insurance was billed over $20,000, a far cry from what we were told they were going to charge. In addition, we were being charged more, even though we were told that we had paid in full the day of. We asked for an itemized bill, so we knew what the charges were for, but were again denied. I have spoken with them several times about the bill and they have done nothing except turn it over to a collection agency and put it on my credit report.

If you need a procedure done, and he and his staff want to make an offer that sounds too good to be true, it is. It should never be ok to bill the insurance and then be told to ignore the remaining balance and that a more accurate bill would come at a later date. My insurance was billed more than $20,000 for a 15 min procedure that was not complicated and did not require intubation. It was estimated originally that my insurance would be billed around $6,000. My bill was also more than doubled than what I was told. I should have trusted my gut when they wouldn't put the offer, or anything in writing.

Dr Reider is a scam artist and a crook. Stay away from this guy as he will play billing game and scam you out of money. Went to him for a simple procedure that was to be done in the hospital. Dr Reider called me trying to push me to do the procedure in his building, it was a building in the Franklin Home Depot parking lot, what a hell hole. Before surgery Dr Reider told me if I keep the insurance out and pay cash he would do it for 13000, after surgery Dr Reider wants to scam me and bill me 40000, this guy is a crook. While on the phone I asked for a statement showing all they would bill me is 13000 and I was told they can't put that in writing, good thing I recorded the phone call. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED DOCTOR. The procedure was a fail, clearly Dr Reider doesn't know what he is doing and then he makes it worst by screwing you out of money. He has turned this in to a collection so now I'm exposing his action. I am working on a website to expose this crooked Doctor www.doctorreidersucks.com

This is the slowest office I've ever visited. After waiting for more than an hour I was lead to an examination room where I waited for even longer. I honestly wouldn't care about the waiting if I would have actually seen the doctor. I only saw various nurses and was actually tricked into agreeing to a scoping procedure that I didn't need and ended up not being covered by my insurance. They weren't even able to diagnose my issues or resolve them in any way. Pretty much the worst experience I've had with a doctor/ doctor's office to date.

Tremendous gentleman. Professional courtesy abounds, knowledge and ability to convey same in a "connect the dot" format, which is pleasant and much appreciated. Add to that the support team IS beyond amazing! For some, including me - going to a medical establishment is something that can knot the spine, but from check-in to check-out, the visits are nothing less than a welcoming and open experience in which one leaves without one question not answered. Good man, good team - caring experience. I'd say that brings a comfort to recurring visits.

My Father was very ill and his general doctor was not able to determine what was wrong with him, finally that doctor suggested my Dad see an ENT doctor, knowing of Doctor Rieder and hearing how through he is we decided to take Dad to see him, Dr. Rieder did an excellent job diving in and discovering the root cause of his illness, unfortunately Dad had cancer of the throat, lungs and brain. While not a good diagnosis at least my Dad and our family had the answers we were longing for.

Dr. Rieder helped my husband with severe sleep apnea and more recently me with a sinus issue related to medical therapy. He is personable, knowledgable and a real partner in wellness.

Dr. Rieder does an exceptional job of listening, taking action and following up. His staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Rieder and his team!

Great experience! My wife and I just went in for our first appointment with Dr. Rieder and we will definitely be going back! He took so much time with us, listened to us, explained things to us. The staff is awesome, too!

Not very friendly, not a good listener. He did a very poor job on my surgery, really messed things up and I had to get a second sinus surgery from a different ENT Doctor to do it right and I'm finally better now. The second surgery with the new doctor was SO much better. I do not recommend this guy.
