I took my son to this man several years ago. I’ve never had an interaction with a doctor who was this rude and uncaring. My son was about a year and a half old. I asked if my son needed his tonsils removed because of swelling and other issues and he told me that he wouldn’t put my son through a surgery to make my life easier, as if that was my goal. Would never use this doctor again. In need of a serious attitude adjustment IMHO.

Doctor Loehr has been my ENT doctor since I was two years old. I have had almost every problem with my ears that you can have and he has always been the only one who could properly diagnose and treat the problems. He is gruff and painfully honest but I always appreciate that in a doctor. I don't need a doctor who beats around the bush. Loehr will tell you exactly what's wrong even if it's something you don't want to hear then he will help you fix it. I will continue going to this man for as long as he practices. I haven't been able to breath my entire adult life due to bilateral nasal valve collapse, a deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, and trauma from multiple broken noses in combat sports. I went initially to one of the most highly rated ENT's in my area who said he wasn't comfortable enough to fix my problems due to the complexity of my specific situation, I was referred away and then referred 3 more times until I landed at Dr. Loehr's office. After a long search Dr. Loehr was willing to fix all my issues, so I scheduled a surgery and it went great. I'm recovered now and both functionally and aesthetically I'm in business. I was almost scared away by some of these reviews yet they only reference his "bad attitude" which I think was likely a misjudgment. Anywho, 5 stars. I recommend Dr Loehr if you have any type of nose or breathing issues, His nurse Alison is very kind, attentive and helpful. I have several friends and even my husband has has surgery with Dr Loehr. All have had a wonderful experience.

He is a jerk and has no compassion. If your looking for a doctor that has ice water running in his veins, he's your guy. Otherwise I'd find someone that is a bit more caring and concerned. He doesn't even deserve the one star rating but the system won't let me remove it.

I’ve been treated by Dr. Loehr on more than one occasion and was referred to him from a family member. He’s polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. He really takes the time to understand your condition and form the proper treatment plan. I look forward to my next visit with him and recommend him to others

Terrible bedside manner. Doesn’t look you in the eye. Doesn’t believe you when you tell him the symptoms your having. Pretty much just has you keep coming back every 2 weeks and nothing gets better. Even with CT scans with positive findings he dismisses it all as swelling. Does not listen to the patient. Don’t waste your time and money. He doesn’t care if you get better. Terrible bedside manner. Dr.. Loehr treated my husband for over 1 year concerning an ulcer in his mouth. After no relief for months we went to ER because the pain was so severe. ER performed a CT scan and confirmed he had a mass that turned out to be terminal cancer. He passed away 6 months later.

I came in to see Dr. Loehr and instead of talking to me about my ear infection since he is an ENT I got a lecture on my weight. Not okay! I didn't see him about that he isn't my pcp or nutritionist (scope of practice hello!) . You never know what someone is battling with. Don't give unwanted advice that has nothing to do with the appointment. He spend several minutes telling me about my weight and motivation or I will get sleep apnea all with the door open then said one sentence about my ear to come back if it still bothers me. Seriously! He has a terrible bedside manner. Doesn’t even look at you when he’s talking. He dismisses your symptoms. Just has you keep coming in every 2 weeks but never really does anything. Don’t waste your time and money.

Dr Loehr was great. His staff got me in quickly. He explained everything to me as we went and kept me informed. Would definitely recommend Dr. Loehr.

I came in this morning to see Dr Loehr for an ear infection. The front desk staff, hearing lady that tested my hearing were all wonderful. However Dr Loehr spend most of my ear appt telling me I need to lose weight, that my bmi is too high, that I will get sleep apnea if I don't lose weight and that should motivate me to lose weight. First of all this appointment was about my EAR not about my weight, he has no idea why I am overweight and it is non of his business & out of his scope of practice.

Went in for my sons ears, he didn't introduce himself or even close the exam room door. Looked at his ears and handed me a pamphlet saying, "this will tell you what you need to know, call and schedule surgery." Took no time to explain, address concerns or anything else.

I suffered for years with sinus issues, headaches, etc. Instead of fixing the problem that I didn't even know I had, (allerigies) other doctors just wanted to give antibiotics for the sinus infection. Dr. Loehr took care of my allergies with daily nose sprays and a pill at night. No life is livable again after years.

Ive had MANY ear infections & unbearable itching in ear for over a yr. At appt Dr Loehr hyper focused on my attempts @ alternative solutions rather than addressing my issues. He said it might be a fungus & prescribed ascetic acid drops. I followed his instructions, but cancelled followup appt & went to another ENT. That doc diagnosed eczema in my ear canal within 20 sec. of exam. NO WONDER it burned so much to put ascetic acid in my ear! Acid On Eczema!! ugh SO GLAD I went to another ENT

After 30 years of suffering allergies, headaches and ear aches, Dr. Loehr was the first on to finally address the problems, not the symptoms. I have taken my daughter to him, so yes, I would refer him and trust him.
