Dr. Anthony A. Guida

It is sad that after going to this doctor for years, they forgot what the definition of a doctor is. They will no longer see sick patients. What kind of doctor are you if you don't see your patients when they need to see you? Very disappointed in them. Don't go to this doctor's office if you actually want to be helped when you are sick.

I came here with a client of mine and her son, and it’s understandable if there is a two person limit that is being accepted in the facility but that was not disclosed when we called upon arrival when we told them how many person for the visit. They waited till the client and her son went in to tell me I have to wait outside of the building which is also outside of a waiting area, now mind you it’s 51 degrees on the colder side bc of the wind. These ppl have no heart whatsoever. There was no reason I couldn’t wait in that area till my client visit was over. It’s freezing out here. We've been very pleased with Dr. Anthony Guida. He really takes his time with you and is very deliberate with his work, he's also a very caring doctor. All of those qualities are very rare things these days....

Paid, filled out forms and waited a half hour and was finally told I would be seeing the Nurse instead. Completely unacceptable treatment for a new patient. Got my money back and left.

I had a 2:20 Telehealth appointment today. Not one person showed. After waiting 30 minutes and checking my email to make sure I did not make a mistake I called. The office was closed. The hours on the website read, "Open" until 3. I have been waiting since 2:10. Pathetic.

The staff sucks

The doctors are great (5 stars for them) however the staff is irresponsible, unprofessional, and lack good service. I’m convinced they let anyone work here. I gave them paperwork to fill out two weeks ahead of time. Then when I show up to pick it up a day before its due they give me only half of the paperwork I originally gave them. And they had no answers as to why my paperwork was missing, totally unacceptable and disappointing. I saw Dr. Sica in this practice for almost 20 years, he is fantastic but the staff doesn’t make seeing him worth it. I have finally had enough and am changing doctors

He’s is super friendly, but his staff is so rude and unwelcoming it’s terrible.

Dr. Guida is very professional and thorough. With confidence, I will recommend him highly.

Doctor Tony guida is absolutely the best in the business anyone who tells you differently has no comparison to compare against him. One of the sharpest consecutive and genuinely heartfelt doctor you will ever meet. Tony is by far the best doctor on Long Island if you haven't got to experience him I feel badd for you cause everyone else out there couldn't shine his shoes thank you for your incredible service as always Tony and your staff!! Very professional service great staff

If he did not send me for further testing I would of died of Kidney Cancer. Fifteen years later he was checking my blood work, he noticed a jump in my psa. He sent me for further testing which resulted in positive for cancer. After 44 radiation treatments I now have a zero psa reading after two years from treatment. He is the BEST! Bruce B. Orient NY

Dr Guida Is terrific Maura the PA is phenomenal she always takes time to explain everything and is incredibly pleasant.

In 43 years the most unprofessional doctor and staff I have come across, from now on I will look for my doctor on Newsdays top Long Island Doctors.

I wouldn't THINK of seeing anyone else. When recently seeking new health plan due to change by employer, I did not let choice dictate my PCP. I chose the health plan that included my PCP, even though it cost a little more. NO BRAINER. I've been with him 25 years. My ONLY hope is that I'm long gone by the time he finally retires.

Dr. Guida is the best!

Their appointment desk does not return calls, and then when they're late, you get their service line until after 9am. Then once they find out they haven't seen you in awhile and that you're not a regular source of income for them, they chastise you for being healthy and then say "Oh..no, we can't see you today". Rude office that is like a factory. Had they been so kind as to see me, I would have been waiting in their triple-booked room for an hour and a half anyway.

He is ignorant of the historical significance of the patient medical history and refuses to include it in his diagnosis

Dr. Guida has such a great bedside manner. He listen to you and answers any questions you have. He does not judge you or rush through the exam.
