Dr. Anthony V Deceanne

Years ago when he was in Canton, he did a surgery on my mother's foot. Since then, she has had to have 2 other surgeries just to fix what this " DR" Has messed up!! DO NOT!! .. I Reapeat!! DO NOT!! Allow this man to work on you!!!

When I started with Dr. I was not walking right after surgery I walk right now. I am a Diabtic and he did a graph on foot so I wouldn’t loose it after a injury. He is the be the staff is the best!!

I love Dr. Deceanne and his staff. He listens, cares, knows what he's doing, tries to do what's best for the patient. I've been seeing him for a long time. The wait time can be long sometimes, but like he told me he wants to actually talk and listen to his patients instead of just hurrying and getting them out. Not to mention that he is one of the only foot doctors in Peoria that does certain surgeries. So I guess it depends on if you want a doctor who cares and gets to know you ,but you might have to wait a while..or go see someone who promptly gets you in does what you need done and does their best to get you out the door in 15mins or less cause that's what they want doctors to do nowadays. I will not go back to Dr. Deceanne. The first two visits were great. The last visit was to receive my diabetic shoes. I was to go back for a visit to see how these shoes were fitting, etc., but I will not return to him. He trimmed my toenails and got too close to the skin. Both big toes bled and hurt afterward. When he did the first one, I said "ow", and he said, "oh, you've had this done before." He was very cocky! Very unprofessional! I will not go back to Dr. Deceanne. The first two visits were great. Great doctor!!!

I’ve only been treating with Dr. Deceanne for a few weeks but I’m very impressed so far. Yes he runs behind but he takes his time and answers all our questions. Seeing him for stem cell graft & his knowledge of injuries & stem cells is impressive. Very happy with my treatment. His staff is very caring & friendly.

Dr.D is an amazing dr, he takes time to discuss things with his patients. I would definitely recommend him.

I have no problem whatsoever with Dr Deceanne, I find him to be very knowledgeable & patient. The problem is with his staff. I have asked many many MANY times to speak with the office manager, and she is supposedly never there any time I visit or call. They are not billing correctly, and are not applying the correct health insurance plan discount. I have contacted my insurance twice and they state, as is printed on every claim copy I receive as well, that this provider has contractually agreed to the plan discount as stated by UHC. UHC says my discount is one thing, but the billing I'm receiving from Dr. Deceanne's office states the plan discount is HALF what the insurance states that it is. I have gone to the office to ask to speak with the office manager, never there. I have had my insurance call them & they state the office will work on it, then I receive a bill that is unchanged. I find this to be very dishonest, and it's shady, in my opinion, that the office manager is supposedly never available when I wish to speak with her. I have printed out EVERY claim, and every RESUBMITTED claim, and will visit yet again on Thursday. I will update if the visit is unsatisfactory. I have no problem paying what the insurance doesn't cover. What I have a problem with is the lack of attention to billing error, when it has been brought to their attention MULTIPLE times. Honest, caring doctor. He takes time with his patients to explain everything to you and answers all your questions. He is the best!

I have and would continue to recommend Dr. Deceanne to anyone. He is conservative in his treatments because his main goal is getting you feeling better not your pocket book. Something I greatly appreciate.
