So very happy I went to see Dr. Cornetta for my tinnitus problem after seeing another specialist who basically did nothing for me. Dr. Cornetta's treatment dramatically reduced my tinnitus . I would highly recommend him. He's the best!

I am so annoyed with the service I received, and I haven't even met Dr Cornetta. I made an appointment two months in advance. Just less than two weeks before my appointment I received a voice message canceling my appointment and rescheduling it for a day and time I could not possibly make work. When I called back to address this issue, the best appointment that they could give me was another two months away!!!! They were the ones that canceled on me! They made no effort to squeeze me in any time sooner!! I heard so many wonderful things about the Dr. but this is so disappointing! Would give zero stars if i could. Scheduled an urgent appointment a week in advance was the soonest they had. A receptionist called 2 days before the appt to state the PA didnt take my insurance and next available was in July. I was told to maybe find another ENT. Dr Cornetta is one of the nicest Drs I’ve ever come across! I was nervous before I got there about a procedure and fearful of a needle being used in my mouth, but he couldn’t have been more gentle. Dr Cornetta is the best ear nose and throat. He is trying to fix my vertigo dizziness sinus inflammation. He returned my call and he calls when you have an emergency especially on the weekends. He definitely loves his job and he cares about the patients. He also does not rush you and he spent enough time to explain the diagnosis.. Definitely have him as a dr one of the kind???????????????? Dr. Cornetta is awesome. For my whole life I had experienced enlarged tonsils which impacted my breathing and daily quality of life. At almost 30 years old he helped me! I had a tonsillectomy which I’m still recovering from. He is so caring, knowledgeable and compassionate. His whole office is. I’m so glad I was able to see him. I can’t recommend him enough. I came to see Dr. Cornetta after having suffered a left nostril drip for the last 9 mos after my Pneumonia. I had seen other ENT specialists and they all just prescribed me nose sprays that did nothing to improve my situation. Dr. Cornetta was on time and asked me to describe how I felt not what I perceived to be the issue. This was already a huge difference as I felt he was taking a a whole body system approach rather than jumping to a quick diagnosis. He confirmed what he suspected my issue was and backed it up with a knowledgeable explanation and with a definite treatment plan. His confidence and assuredness in this diagnosis along with a clear plan provided me with such relief after months of distress and confusion. I highly recommend him and the front reception staff was equally helpful, friendly and quick.

I only went for a consultation. I was seen by Dr. Cornetta's PA, Dr. Wolinaw, (not sure of spelling)she was wonderful. I need to go back for a procedure and will meet Dr. Cornetta then

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Cornetta he has been nothing but amazing that includes his staff I haven’t had any bad experiences. I drive from Selden because I refuse for anyone else to see my little girl. She has had two sets up ear tubes placed and has had tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy done. Went for the first time to Dr. Cornetta, I was never so shocked at the way they treat the patients. The 4 women behind the desk seemed annoyed when people come in, then they rudely pointed to the 3 computers to enter all info...To me, it was a personable experience just because the desk women do not ant to have any interaction with the patients. They were so afraid that you were going to ask them a question and they had to do a seconds worth of work..Will never go there again.. Oh,Dr. Cornetta was wonderful, not the staff... I’ve had all my ear tubes done from him from a young age. My brother got his tonsils done from him. Amazing amazing doctor. Don’t listen to ANY bad reviews.

He was an amazing doctor. Very knowledgeable and followed up after the visit. Very rare these days, you don't find that anymore. I looked back to see why he only got 3.5 stars and none of them were because of him. There were a few lame complaints about the front desk I think. I found them to be pleasant. He is well staffed so the wait is not very long. His PA also followed up and is soooo nice and efficient as well. I am super picky when it comes to doctors so if I give 5 Stars look no farther.

They canceled appt without letting anyone know then refused to take any action to correct the situation. The woman who claims to handle the insurance approval refused to call insurance company and said it takes too long and would be on phone for 15 minutes and that it was late in the day and made us reschedule appt. NEVER go to this Dr. very unprofessional

My son spent a total of 10 minutes with Dr. Cornetta for treatment of a chronic nose bleed which had been interfering with his participation on his school’s wrestling team The treatment involved inserting a long stick with a chemical on the end into his nostril and holding it against the vein for about a minute. That's it. For this procedure, Dr. Cornetta is billing my insurance carrier $2,523.00, of which I am expected to pay the "reduced negotiated rate" of $1,256.95. There is something VERY wrong with this.That's an hourly rate of over $7,500 per hour for a procedure that required no lab work, no biopsy, and only a topical anesthetic applied on a cotton ball. Shame on NYU and shame on Dr. Cornetta. This is what's wrong with our current medical system. Excellent Dr

Very attentive, bright, caring and proactive.

I have been to Dr. Cornetta for a few problems with my husband and my granddaughter and he's always been able to help them solve the problem they had and we were happy with the treatment.

Dr. Cornetta diagnosed my cholesteatoma within 3 minutes of reviewing my medical records and examining my ear. He immediately had an action plan and a referral for a surgical specialist to handle the treatment. I only wish I had seen him sooner--I transferred to Cornetta after many years of getting nowhere with another local ENT and having ongoing hearing loss and pain/pressure. He was terrific, professional, and beyond skilled at his specialty. Dr. Cornetta diagnosed my cholesteatoma within 3 minutes of reviewing my medical records and examining my ear. Best in the biz - bar none. He is ultra conservative and that is a great approach for the patient as well as his own practice. All doctors should be this professional and possess the EQ that Dr. Cornetta clearly possesses.

Dr. Cornetta's staff was friendly and very helpful in making my first appointment with him. Dr. Cornetta took his time in explaining everything I needed to know concerning my visit.

My son had an appointment today - due to confusion with the address he arrived 15 minutes late - 8:45 not 8:30 - he tried to call but the office does not answer phones until 9:00. The staff was horrific and so was the doctor - we are seeking another ENT - very disappointing....
